I've no clue what Herculiner is ... and I've never heard 'it' called a 'hootus' ... but I'm guess it wasn't a good situation for him.

To the best of my knowledge Herculiner is that black tar stuff they use as bed liners in trucks and I kind of guessed what he meant by hootus...

Emailed craft vapery yesterday. They said they'd look into why it hasn't shipped yet (a week ago today). May have to cancel their order and roll with Zamplebox instead. Pretty crappy it's taken a week to ship anything.

Naw, lighter fluid burn over your whole body would not be a good thing - Turpentine???

I've known people that have used it all their lives on poison ivy, oak, sumac. All those things you get in the woods, or working outdoors. I totally forgot about it. They used that before any of these otc meds existed.

Yepper, waaay back when, it was a remedy, not a medication! Ol' turp had many uses besides human/animal relief...

My great-grand daddy/mommy had a jar out in their 'bakky farm open kitchen and one in da pick-em-up! In fact my grand dad once got pulled fer speeding and da trooper spotted a liquor bottle in da back seat. My GD had him smell da turp to avoid a DWD (waaay back den).

TBH, as a younglin', I couldn't tell da pain/sting diff twix turp and Mercurochrome. At least da M was an obvious red badge of honor, widout da aroma of turp!
