Well, I'd seen several different doctors over the years for my ears, and it wasn't until my regular doctor was being covered for that I heard that advice for the very first time. I haven't needed to go back since. Yes, Eustachian tube blockage is what I was having a devil of a time with, and the regular doctor had only said that poking a hole in my eardrum might be the only way to fix the problem, but that it would cause partial hearing loss. Thus, I was grateful that SOMEBODY finally clued me in. Also works great for equalizing altitude-change-related pressure. You just don't blow hard. It is their remedy for every complaint.
I'm startin to think maybe this is all for a reason, I have good coverage under Medicare and more then likely better doctors of my choice and if there is a procedure to be done I can talk to my own cardiologist that I have been seeing for 6 years. Plus the Oncologist also knows my other specialists and has also been my hemotologist for almost a year with my anemia problem. And also Ginnys Hemo for her anemia problem and gave us both iron infusions.
I don't know how I'd keep the wax out of my ears without Q tips, but fortunately, they're available cheap almost anywhere.
I went through a period of getting water blockages in my ears, which made it really difficult to hear and even affected my balance I think. Twenty years ago I was at the ear doctor, and he asked me if I'd tried holding both nostrils and blowing it out. I laughed and told him that I'd been told since I was a kid to not do that. I started doing it and no more problems.
I was glad to see Martin Truex win. Actually, I was glad to see anyone other than Kyle Bush win. LOLGreat race! Martin Truex dominated. Was 16 seconds ahead when the caution came out with 3 to go. Overtime restart and all the other guys had new tires. He kicked their ....'s! Great race.![]()
I have a problem with blockage of the Eustachian tubes. My Primary Care Doctor had me get an ear cleaning kit at the pharmacy and when I note a blockage I use warm water and flush my ears out.Well, I'd seen several different doctors over the years for my ears, and it wasn't until my regular doctor was being covered for that I heard that advice for the very first time. Third party hosting is what people joined for. It's what PH agreed to when people created their accounts. If they must change the contract, they need to give lots of notice and make it easy for people to download all their stuff so they can move it elsewhere. Some features on your account will be disabled. Our Terms of Service does not allow 3rd party hosting with your current account level.
Me too.I would love to learn how to transfer all my photos out of P/B.....have been wanting to do that for over a year, but have no clue where to start.......I've since been using Imgur, but eh, that's OK...
Both. Was the cup race today or just Xfinity?
Some memories and inspirations
Well dang, it looks like they're not playing today. Not a rain delay, I don't think, but an actual scheduled day off. It's the only tournament in the world that has such a thing; it's to allow the grass courts to heal a little from the first week of play.I'm off to camp in front of the TV for another Wimbledon watching session.
Yeah he signed a bill to let it keep running till the money ran out, they had 10 billion to start and they are down below 800 million so they tightened it up, even tho they extended it they didn't sweeten the pot a little with some of their money gotta pay their salaries. Congress just decided that they needed to tighten it up or they'll sun out of money before August. So thats the story, trying to cut costs instead of adding a billion or so to that when they could spend it on something more important

Otherwise, what they're doing is just plain wrong.
Me too.
That is the mainline from Seattle to Chicago, 2 engines while I'm not positive of the Grade if you were East of Whitefish, The crews take the train from Whitefish to Havre and change crews. The have a mountain grade to go over but they add Helper units at the bottom, It has 1 engineer and 1 Conducter, the amount of cars depends on if they were empty or loaded the last car looks just like the rest since they have no caboose any more just a device that radios the pertinant info to the engineer, cost cutting. If they were empty coal or oil cars once getting over the grade they could easily handle 110 cars, it goes by weight. 2 engines which are normally the newer ones have 4400 hp each and using helpers depending on the class of train will have a rating like 1 or 1.5hp per ton and empty coal or oil car is between 30 and 35 tons so a 100 car train would only be say 3300 tons, loaded on the other hand are about 150 tons each so 15000+ tons. If they were going East they would've been empty W the opposite. If they were mixed freight or containers they weigh about 70+ tons loaded. Usually the length of a train is what they regulate by and they keep them normally less than 8000'. BNSF has a couple of meanings, "Better not slip and Fall" "Bigger now still F----d" or Burlington Northern Sante Fe" Oh and Yes the Burlington norther which was originally made up of 4 RR's has merged with the Sante Fe in the 70's and a couple of other RR's besides. Sante Fe was the big one.
That was probably more info then you wanted but thats the story.
After a very stress filled and emotional visit, daughter and sil just left to travel up North to Johns Hopkins for evaluation for her chronic malaise.
On the way over from Tampa on Wednesday, their van broke down, of all places. on I-4!!! Anyone in Fl., knows what I'm talking about. Alternator!!!

I'm a q-tip freak. They itch a lot.
You just don't blow hard. It is their remedy for every complaint.I guess a lot of problems have to do with Eustachian tube blockages, and they really can't do much about it. Either that, or rinse out your nose every night and use two different types of spray.
With HA's, it may be the opposite, people complain a lot about fungus. I probably should do some research.I had a frustrating problem with itching in my earrs but now I'm cured. Put a drop of Debrox in the itchy ear. I think the problem is that the ear canals dry out. Could turn out to be a simple fix for you.

Poke a hole in your eardrum vs hold your nose and blow? I don't even know what to say about that doctor!Well, I'd seen several different doctors over the years for my ears, and it wasn't until my regular doctor was being covered for that I heard that advice for the very first time. Well, I had to have it on my computer first in order to upload it. But, just to be safe, I'ld like to d/l anyway. Just to be extra sure. Although, I probably don't really need to.In my case, no need to d/l anything from there, as what I HAD on PB was there for sharing, originals still on local drive, backed to DVDs and external drives. So yesterday, I deleted my PB account. When the form asked why, "New TOS is unacceptable." They get no more ad revenue from me.
Nice!OH! These arrived yesterday https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Trekking-Survival-Poles-Pair/35395533 I am ecstatic. Will be building up my walking distance gradually. Walked around the block yesterday, furthest in several months.
...got my coffee and went in the living room... so she brought the mouse in there and proceeded to "play" with it, doing all kinds of gymnastic movesYeah those are snow sheds. They had some on the old route over Stevens Pass in the early 1900's and was the site of one of the worst at that time the worst rail disasters. An avalanche came down and crushed the shed with a couple of passenger trains stopped there. I think it was about 80 killed. After that they built the 8 mile tunnel which I believe was finished around 1928, one of the greatest feats of the day. They started at both ends Chinese on one side and Others on the other when they met in the middle they were only inches off, the tunnel is still in use to this day and a part of the mainline for Seattle to Chicago. The lighter high priority trains use that route and the heavier trains use the southern route up the Columbia River. The route through the tunnel is considerably shorter but too steep for really heave trains plus the tunnel being so old is small in area so it heats up in there. They were able to make it a little bigger by cutting the ceiling some but when they tried to lower the roadbed they found steel reenforcements in it so they couldn't do it but got it big enough to get double stacks through it but there are just inches of clearance to the ceiling so hard to get air circulation to keep the engines cool enough and the tunnel is on a 1.8% grade from W to E. Takes 20-30min to pump out the exhaust after a train goes through before they can put another in and it gets hot in there.Good idea if it works.
