Just looked ... mine is IOS 10.3.3 and I have no problems or issues. Been on it a while now.

Probably so are our 2 iPads and Janet's phone too.
OK i'm still trying to figure it out, while I was getting it hooked up using Ginny's phone, her mom called 3 times someone texted me, was having a heck of a time getting a new sim card paired with a new phone and all paired with Verizon. No more got that done and Gdaughter called me on Facetime Sheesh. Was picking things up sort of but haven't even had time to watch the video yet. Haven't checked my version but it said if there was an upgrade it would show a #1 by settings and it doesn't do that so I must be already into 10.3.3. Will check later. So far I really like it will be better when I can get through that 90min video on going from Android to IOS. It actually works out here. Amazing. Have to see if there is a Swift Key app in the app store since I paid for that one and really like it. Plus I've been using it for so long it like "home" to me. Ever tried setting up an iPhone for the first time without having a clue, talking to Verizon, people calling. Would've been much easier if I had bought it from Verizon and almost $300 more. I'm glad I went this route.

I'm so happy! I was able to help a new vaper stay with vaping! She was ready to give up because of the equipment the useless so and so vape shop/head shop sold her. Yes, one of those places. They had her starting out at 85 watts, full air, and charged her over $100! Taught her absolutely nothing except where to add juice, where to plug it in and how to change the coil. And the juice was $30. for 15ml for shop mixed with no label! I showed her 5 mods and 3 tanks, 5 juices. She is now using one of my tootlepuffer set ups, and loving it! I'll be helping her with vape sites and buying her own stuff. This is fun!

That's wonderful! That feeling of helping someone stick with it is so satisfying! Good for you to be able to help! It's surprising how low I feel when someone just doesn't want to try and gives up. It's so much easier to just pick up a cigarette because it's what they know and are used to and they miss all the benefits and enjoyment of vaping. Some vape stores have no idea that they're driving business away when they don't take the time to really help a customer. Often they're run by young cloud chasers who don't have an interest in truly helping a newbie customer. Chalk this up as a successful day!!

There' a Swift-Key in the app store but I suggest you work w/ the inbuilt keyboard before switching it out for an app. Just MHO. That said, it has 1,286 reviews w/ a 4 1/2 star rating.

Yep I dl'd before I read this and then discovered you couldn't resize it like on android. Oh well can always go back. Oh and I have to do the upgrade. It showed up after a while. Suppose I'll have to watch some videos. You say you had no trouble upgrading yourself? I still have to transfer my contacts over and watch the video on how to use it. Am learning by force and I'm beat.

You say you had no trouble upgrading yourself?

Always. Make sure you're connected to wifi and jus click the update button. Then go away for 10 to 20 minutes. I do all my updates via iTunes after doing a phone backup.

oh, updates! I don't know what the Android was like, but be prepared for 12-20 updates a week for any/all the apps you load to the iPhone. It's incredible how many of these you'll get.

Sure wish I could upgrade myself. Is it a difficult procedure? I am tired of running around to doctors and suchlike. How long does it take? Would love to have a whole new body.

Since cutting the cable, I got "One Tab" for Chrome. Once I got the knack of using it, it also learned which websites I use for streaming media, and which are not. It ought to be called two tabs. It eliminates some of the browser seizures you can see when watching streaming media. Pretty cool.

Weather Underground also massively updated their software. And I don't like it. I picked up US Weather Radar. It is it is easy to use, and has the graphs that Wunderground used to have.

Hi all. I usually see many of you on the front porch but this is not a vaping issue so posting here.

There are so many of you who are very techie oriented and I need some help with phone issues and hope someone here can point me to some direction.

We don't have a landline, only cell phones. ATT's service is the best there is in my area and not as reliable as I wish it were. Every now and then calls don't show/ring/come in until days later...literally. When this is an issue is when it's an important call...like last Monday when I kept waiting for my doctor's office to call me to work me in because my BP was spiking up. Never got the call or the voice mail the nurse left until yesterday!

I need a free service and there are many but all have different features and I don't wan to commit until I know what I'm getting into. I've been reading about internet calling but some services both parties must use same app, such as Skype. I looked at Google Voice but it sounds like it ties up the mobile number with their service.

What I want, if it exists, is a separate phone number that I can give out to someone who can call it if they cannot reach me on my cell and free. Is there such a thing?

I have an Obamaphone. I rarely use it because the sound quality is so poor, but it is nice for emergencies.

I gave up on cellphones about a year ago. Again, because of poor sound quality. What I have now is a phone attached to my internet cable. I have Charter Spectrum. Dropping cable TV has more than halved my cable bill. I got a specialized phone for people with hearing loss. My phone service costs about 25$ a month. The guys here tried to talk me into something else through the internet which does not require an extra charge, but I read some reviews where sound quality was a concern.

Clearly in this case it was a matter of selling more high priced liquid...

The sound quality is excellent on this iPhone. Still would be better with BT. Going to try the earbuds that came with it that look like quality ones but BT would be a lot better. Can't wait to get some new hearing aids with it. These have it but sound quality is really bad. Hopefully in the 5 years since they have improved them. Plus I am getting the behind the ear type I hate these in the ear ones. I thought I would like them but really block up your ear.

I can't afford the more expensive cellphones. Hopefully I can get BT-enabled HA's next time around. I had full-shell HA's first time around, and somehow got used to talking into a can (the blocked-up ear problem). BTE's are best, but I wouldn't touch the receiver-in-ear models. They need repairs so often.

Yep it feels like the insides of my ears are sweating all the time and talking on the landline sometimes they'll hook up and sound will come out both then it will fade out and in several times on a long call. Sometimes they just change modes on me and if I don't have my remote I'm stuck in wind mode or something else. I'm glad the gal at the VA said I could get new ones 3 months early as soon as I get back.
