Oh my, dat's sum fine wood fibers and finishing! And your PV setups aren't too shabby, either...

Thank you Iffy, I should mention that the georgous wood work was done by a ECF Supplier. Absolute-Wood. He does amazing work, this was a custom job cause I'm picky that way! (Snark) before he was finished, I had bought another 1 or 2 mods. He also makes stock single pyramid holders that I carry around the house when I'm using my Zen Attys.

@Zen Knitter, don't think I have welcomed you to the porches! Pleased to make your acquaintance!

Why thank you and pleased to meet you too! I really enjoy your telling about the dog shows, been there, done that, have the new knee to prove it. It's been years but a special trip down memory lane. Thanks again.

Cool! Not the need for a new knee but that seems to be pretty common in handlers. I am a vendor, but I do show my own dogs (Belgian Tervuren). Geordi is a pup, waiting for him to mature more before we hit the AKC show ring seriously. Tasha (my avatar) is a 9 yr old (10 Feb 4) finished CH, all shown by moi. What breed(s) did you show?

After that I'm installing an on demand water heater. The existing tank heater has a bad element and takes forever to recover. As it's probably 25 years old, it's time to replace it.
dang sounds like you've been through the wringer. Those water heaters seem amazing in the commercials :D So glad you're home, and the VA house is sold, but sure don't envy all you still have to do. Hope y'all can settle in quickly.

Yes Debadoo, they have made changes. Not gonna beat anyone off the line at the stop lights, but live in hill country and have no problems. Of course the young ones in their jacked up trucks, think I'm too slow for them. I just laugh as I hear their gas/diesels suck in $10 bucks of fuel.
kewl! Jup, I don't need one that'll stand ya on yur nose.......just didn't wanna get clobbered trying to get on the hwy lol

Decorated the house. Inside and out. :)

that is a gorgeous tree! Love those bubble lights. Can't believe you did all that decorating with all you have on your plate, but it looks great!

and/or a vehicle for me. I kinda vote for new (used) wheels. Will be checking Craigslist daily. :thumb:
I absolutely vote for new wheels before anything else!! That's your safety and livelihood! If you can do and....that would be great.......but definitely new wheels!

Can I whine too? Can I? Can I?

I woke up to flooded carpet . . . again. But, this time I just couldn't make myself soak it up with towels, wash and dry towels, then do it again and again and again.

Since I just got paid yesterday and hadn't been to the store yet, I had enough money to just go buy a shop vac and be done with it. No vape shopping this week.

But, the silver lining! Guess what I saw at Lowe's . . . and bought!

Shop Stack-On 22-Drawer Blue Plastic Storage Cabinet at Lowes.com

More vape storage!
kewl beans on the storage thingy. Glad you found out where the leak came from and glad you got the shop vac, but stinks you had to go through that again. Jup, like Matt said...... really watch for mold. A lotta times you don't really smell it cuz ya kinda become insensitive to the smell as it builds over time.

Dallas -v- Tampa Bay tonight. Absolutely nothing else on. Watched the Dolphins last night. Enjoyable game. I used to be a big Dolphins fan then lived in VA for 35 years. Also the fact that they sucked kind if ruined me. Never was a Redskins (Foreskins:w00t:) fan.
We're at least guaranteed a winning season this year!! :D Don't think we've done that since Pennington. If this year is any indication, I'm liking Gase. Hope he can keep em fired up, cuz we've got the talent. Just gotta git rid of the DGAS-itis.

Nice shelf and collection!

Like I said, watching football. Saw a commercial for ...... Single Pack. Is it just me or is that something they came out with for married men that either are having an affair or visiting hookers? If you use the stuff and are married why wouldn't you just take the whole bottle or a couple or three pills with you. Of course momma is going to know how many pills are is the bottle. Just saying.
That bugs me too! I didn't take it like that, but more as a way for BP to charge more money for the same thing, but yeah you could be right. A lot of commercials have been buggin me. I think it's SW that had a pilot in uniform in a tropical setting holding an alcoholic beverage. Then there is a gingerbread cookie actually named Ginger Bread.....but it's a boy cookie  Quite a few more, but they aren't coming to mind offhand.

Oh no! Nothing on the rug got ruined did it? Ugh, I'd hate to have to deal with that this time of year. It's a good thing you figured out where it was coming from and can get it fixed quickly. Good job on the storage find! It's nice to be able to get all those little bits and pieces organized.

Nice job on the shelf then... I like to tinker with wood also - nothing large or to complicated, but I like to use a lot of trim work to make them stand out. Routers are your friend...

I showed St. Bernard's, Bernese Mt. Dogs. BBE, and Newfs and Pyrs for friends. Even handled a Basset in obedience and con. Surprised I ever got him over the jumps, he got whacked where it really hurt every damn time.

Sweet! You showed the big guys! My first love is performance. Mostly obedience, rally, tracking and some herding. Used to do Canine freestyle, was even a judge, but due to travel not able to get to meetings and training I had to stop. Canine Freestyle Federation freestyle is not the fancy, Handler dress up and props you see on the Internet. CFF freestyle is all about the dog and showing off the skills of the dog. Handler is just along for balance, not performance. You can't do freestyle alone, you need an audience for feedback. I don't do agility either because I travel too much to train ME! Now there is Barnhunt (finding rats in tubes in bales of hay to make it a simple explanation for others) and Dock diving! All look like so much fun!

Ok, enough doggie talk, back to your regular conversation. ;)

Au contraire, mon chéri! K9s are always a proper topic here on/under da back porch... <itch, scritch, scratch...>

<sigh...>

I know, but I don't want everyone to think that's all I care about and all I can talk about. Though sometimes I wonder.... Gone to the dogs alright!

Geordi Best in Show IABCA Nov 2016 small.jpg

Geordi's Best in show pics :D:D:D:wub: From early November, he was 19 months old. Not the best picture, but he was nervous so I didn't set his feet or mess with him. Quick shot, done! Good boy!

Yep, I thought it was hilarious. I have never figured out who thought that this particular word could have two meanings??? I wonder which one came first?
