Now, where is Kaez?

He's been snowed under at work. Mrs Kazz broke her wrist about a week ago, plus her clinical trial she's in. I think his plate is overflowing right now.

What a relief!!! Thank you Debadoo, and thank you Diver!
You're welcome. I don't like it when friends don't communicate during this season.

Man we went to pick up Gdaughter/Daughter at the airport on Monday, blizzard conditions we were getting about 2-3" an hour couldn't even see any tracks in the snow cause it was 2am. Pretty freaky ride.
I hate driving in those conditions. I put a new pickup two hundred feet down a ravine on I-5 in Mt Shasta City in Northern California, due to ice and snow. I am positive that the only reason I walked away from that accident was the seatbelt.

Well she left today and is spending a couple days with her half sisters at her real mothers house.
That brings back memories from my Navy days. My parents were divorced and when I came back on leave my Mom really resented any time that I spent with my Dad.

Wow, thanks for letting us know. This is another post that is hard to "like". I will add them to my prayer list.

Good morning Good Folks!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ALL!

Looks like I got the place to m'self ATM...

Really nothing much to report here, except that all's well in general. Daughter is home from school (been here a couple weeks now) goes back Jan. 6... wife is off work yesterday, today, and Monday... went shopping w/ her BFF yesterday... son's truck blew out the rear end last week, he's been shopping junkyards for another (no luck yet) and driving my car to work... I'm sittin' here by myself working on my second cup of coffee, everyone else is still asleep - like I said, nothing much to report... same ol' same ol' .

Definitely not complaining tho... like Grandma said: "No news is good news" right?

If y'all see Goober later on, tell him I said "Duh Huh" - he'll know what you mean... :D

'morning y'all... me again...

I've been wanting a good bottom-fed setup for a long time, just can't justify the cost of a REO/RM2 at the moment... spending $200 a little at the time over one or two years is one thing, dropping 200 at once would be tough for me right now.

I've had a Hobo clone rda sittin' around here for a while now - part of my vapocalypse preps. I tried it for a while, washed it, and put it away. I'm too active to have a dripper as an ADV unless and until it becomes necessary.

Also bought a Kanger Dripbox kit right after it first came out, didn't like the atty that came with it... found a BF Velocity, didn't like it, so washed everything and put it away.

A few months ago, ordered some 3mm vented screws from Fat Daddy to convert a Derringer to BF - didn't work out so I washed everything and put it away.

{turn the page}

Well...

It didn't occur to me until a couple of weeks ago to try the vented screws in the Hobo - bingo !!!

Now the BF-converted Hobo is sittin' on the BF Dripmod box - and working fantastically I might add! Been rockin this combo ever since, and luvin' it.

The screws came in a 3-pack, so I now have two more Hobos in my cart at FT, and also one of these: NarDA Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - which comes with a vented screw in the spare parts bag.

Now I just need a REO or three... or a REO and a Peko (sp?)... or a Peko and a........

Watch out World of BF - I finally got my toe in the door and I ain't turning back now.

i hear the eleaf pico squeeze is good :)

Thanks for the tip! I looked into that, and put a gray mod-only in my FT cart - I figure for ~18 bux, why not? The Coral atty looks a lot like the Dripbox atty though... so don't think I'd be interested in the whole 'kit'... biggest problem is being designed for dual coil-only. I like a single ~0.7Ω coil @ 2.5-2.75mm ID. Thinking about using a dremel to make the top cap on the Dripbox atty into a single-coil setup.

Says it's 76° here in bright sun or as I normally say nearly every morning since we got down here..."I'll be damned if it isn't another beautiful day in South Florida!" Rained last night so it's fairly humid outside. We've been consistently about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Nope, no global warning here! Move along, move along, nothing to see here. :rolleyes:;)

It is so hard to believe that in some parts of the country they are offering to deliver up till midnight on Christmas Eve... and some areas - 2 hour deliver... I guess if you live in one of those areas - you still have almost 28 hours of shopping to go...

Not some of my best work, but I thought some might enjoy...

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through ECF
Not a poster was stirring, not even a mod;
The wick and wire were waiting by the fireplace with care,
In hopes that their new Nauti 5 soon would be there;

The ECF’rs were pacing the floors with dread,
Visions of their new shinnies’ danced in their heads;
The Ladies in their 'kerchiefs, and Men in their cap,
Had not settled down for their regular nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
They sprang to see what was all the matter.
Away to the window they flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The sun was abreast of the new-fallen snow
It gave the lustre of mid-day to the shinnies’ below,
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But their long waited USPS driver - he was now using reindeer,

With a little old driver, not so lively and not so quick,
They knew in a moment that this sure wasn’t no St. Nick.
Faster than a China Delivery his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, ! now, DELIVERY! now, PACKAGE and ADDRESSEE!
On, SERVICE! on STAMP! on, SCANNED and TRACKER!
To the top of the driveway! to the mail box we go!
Now dash away! dash away! to the next house by the snow!"

As smokeless vapor that swirled around and around,
Never a doubter, could hardly be ever found ,
So up to my own mail box the reindeer flew,
With the sleigh of shinies, and the USPS Driver too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard like a spoof,
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I vaped on what was in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the sidewalk the USPS driver came with a bound.

He was dressed all in khaki’s, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of shinnies’’ he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a modder dressed in what was not tact.

His eyes were squinting as his lungs became full!
His cheeks puffed as he blew clouds like a bull
His mouth was drawing up for another vape,
And his chest was expanding till it had all it could take;

The Provari topped with a Nauti he held tight in his fist,
The vapor encircled his head as he checked his list;
He had a broad face and a big old belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, as delivery men are,
And I laughed when I saw him, even from afar;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the tanks; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, all coils were wicked and clean as a rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-VAPE-NIGHT!

Well we haven't been about the porch much this week. Been a busy week. Kaitlin, Brian and Huxley have came in last weekend and we've been doing a lot of family time. We'll be celebrating Christmas tomorrow with Michael, Rachel, Miles, Kaitlin, Brian, and Huxley all together ... what more could we ask. Kate and her family fly out on Christmas day for Arizona to be w/ Brian's Dad before heading back to Colorado.

So Janet's been baking ... this is our traditional Dobas Torta ... although Janet kicked it up a notch with a fancy top.

Been so nice having Kate and Hux around for the week.

Ain't he a cutie ... he likes to smile ... he's a happy baby.

Michael's been around a couple days and we had Mile's around too this week. This is his 'just off the boat at Ellis Island' look.

But this is he real look ... he's already a huge fan of Batman ... not a surprise so is my son.

Just love having both the grand babies around this week.

I :wub::wub::wub: It Semi!

Mike and Janet, looks like love and happiness :wub:

Sunday to son's house for dinner with his dear wife and her family, Monday to So FL for hubby's aunt's , probably last, birthday. She will be 90 but has been very ill. Time with his family, 1 night in a motel. Hubby's wife is the older of the sisters. She is hanging in, but I fear when her sister is gone it won't be long. Sorry for the downer, didn't mean it to be. We will be celebrating life, Chaunaka (hubby is Jewish), Christmas, and a New Year.
