Thanks, T. My ability to express myself that way and put it on camera is a lot more fragile than Deb realized, I'm sure, no matter how many smiley faces accompanied her remarks.

Awww, she wasn't fun'n at ya! You looked like you were having fun! You did good, very good! The video was great and I LOVED the Dave dance! It was perfect! Truly!!

Listen to her bigs ... I've learned not to disagree with her.

Sure she was! I was never any good at moving my hips. I move as well now as I did before breaking my back over 3 years ago, so that's not even a valid reason. The fact that I shouldn't be so sensitive does not magically make me less sensitive. Those little performances bare my soul as much as anything that I've ever done and if it came down to it, I'd keep them from public view rather than defend my indefensible sensitivity about them. This is especially true when you consider how little sympathy I have shown (and how little sympathy I will continue to show) for anyone who says they're considering abandoning this group.

Until you figure out why you don't have an appetite maybe you should get yourself some Ensure or one of those protein drinks. At least you'd be getting some nutrition. And take your vitamins!
@Rotowoman the Ensure or Boost is a great idea. I've had to supplement with those several times, & get them for my Mom when I see she isn't eating right. You can't live off of them but short term they are good nutritional help.

Sure, just as soon as I fully overcome the after-effects of being the first-born child of parents who raised us Presbyterian (like Puritan, but a little stiffer).

Dave I am truly sorry that I hurt your feelings. That was never my intention. I really do love your dances, not just sayin that. I think it's great! I truly wasn't makin fun of ya, I just had no idea you were sensitive about it. I think it's great that you let loose like that.

Encapsulation of the house rules at the time: if it feels good, you're doing it wrong.

Then it looks to me like you're making progress shaking those shackles. Your dance looked to be one of joy. It made me smile - which happened to literally hurt me at the time (different story), but the soul was happy.
Keep shakin' and vapin'!

Approved December of 2000, the “National Moment of Remembrance Act,” designates 3:00 p.m. as the National Moment of Remembrance. Congress then found that “it is essential to remember and renew the legacy of Memorial Day, which was established in 1868 to pay tribute to individuals who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States and their families” recognizing that “greater strides must be made to demonstrate appreciation for those loyal people of the United States whose values, represented by their sacrifices, are critical to the future of the United States” and that “the Federal Government has a responsibility to raise awareness of and respect for the national heritage, and to encourage citizens to dedicate themselves to the values and principles for which those heroes of the United States died.

I have personally never broken the Flag Code, yet most likely don't even know it exists .. United States Flag Code: “The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery . . . The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard ...”

“He’s not a war hero, he was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” .. a statement that, in and of itself should have immediately disqualified any candidate .. yet America somehow still allows a Charlatan and one that worships money and power over Country to hypnotize a large portion of the populace .. think about that on Memorial Day ..

Happy Memorial Day to PFC John Day, and all the others I knew that are gone ... Rest in Peace
