OK, Gary, believe it or not, ya finally lost me after all dis time. Is there a checklist fer my 20th Cen (sum may say 19th) mind? Just need a list of equipment/system requirements, apps, co$t and a logical explanation of setup procedures. Ever so much would luv to shed our VIOS/cable!

My biggest hurtle will be to educate my bride to as to how get her where she wants to 'be'! If da above is provided, I'm more dan willin' to go down dat rocky road...

My .02 FRNs re the tragic g'rilla incident...

- Zoo did what they had to do!
- Zoo will be sued in civil court due to 'inadequate' barriers (as the zoo is already bolstering the perimeter)
- Parent should have followed/attempted to rescue her child
- Parent(s) should be charged for child endangerment
- Parents could possibly/probably will win civil suit
- 50/50 as to parents being absolved of criminal charges

I've not been posting much lately. I'll not attempt to express myself through a selection of songs, or a long boring monograph...instead, I'll post a meme that will be cryptic to all but one... or possibly two... who truly know me.

Ok, so the car is totalled and we got the check for the equity, about a quarter what we were expecting, but still a good down payment for a vehicle, so the wife went shopping, found one that would do, but we could not get approved for the loan because I am, literally, between jobs, so we are screwed, the only real solution will be for her to talk her parents into letting her drive one of their cars for a couple of weeks and her following me here 3 weeks ahead of plans.

Okay, back from my political rant to my Rep.

Oh no! We didn't forget the Asparagus! As you know it IS a "process" though. A THREE YEAR PROCESS!!!

Here's the progress of phase one; Seed to sprout, over a month. Transplant to the "rest of the season & through the first Winter - pot" (in a cool "sort of heated" garage) completed, but not before the stalks got pretty tall (so don't laugh when you see the picture ) .

We were told to "maybe" cut them back but with as fragile as they are, I only cut one back to just above the dirt and it has pretty much just stopped. It may be shooting roots down, I don't know but it hasn't grown back any above ground. I do have to say the top was VERY tender and tasty!!! (You didn't think I was just going to throw it away did you. )

Iffy, do you know if we need to cut them back and stop watering them through the Winter? It will be between 40 & 50 in the garage, where they'll be sitting and then we plan to set them outside again in the Spring, once it's above freezing overnight, consistently.

Ya, "they" didn't have the foresight to see that their nefarious plan would actually work and they would drain that well dry so a second bite at the apple is going to look pretty tasty indeed. The only problem is that once that well is tapped, what will be next? I suggest toilet paper. At least EVERYBODY will get it in the end that way!

Maybe they should form a political party and put up a candidate for president. Would make Bernie look like a freaking capitalist.

If ya read the fine print on kodi boxes on amazon... they don't come with kodi. Even tho they're advertised as kodi boxes... gotta download it. Yes we have come a long way since napster. Difference is, you don't download anything which was the legal problem. It's streaming from... somewhere.

Day-um Von, sure wish I could help ya out. But we did all our harvestin' in da 'wilds' of Idaho. Not much rain, but dey were on da upper banks of small rivers, streams and irrigation canals. I do know dat when we harvested one year, we'd go back da next wid success.

BTW, we didn't harvest da very young nor da ones going to seed (aka open stalks).

Yup. (Actually, downloading is still legal here. But they are working on it.) But streaming... you're just kind of watching a drive in movie with binoculars. It's not on your machine so you never had a copy. So you don't own anything. On the other hand, 900 year old stuff... not sure anyone would care.
