Could just be that those bottom leaves are spent. Done their job and you can clip them off. Probably good to do that anyway to avoid any bad bacteria or whatever developing as they rot.

I totally agree with Bells. Not enough info. Just being there to listen when he's like that is probably the best thing you can do for him. There are no magic words to fix it. Kudos to you for being willing to be there for him.
That's funny, but it's PopPop. Actually it sometimes sounds like he's saying Popeye. Yep, he is really cute and we can see him growing into a little boy now instead of a baby. Wow, where did 19 months go? They grow so fast!
So, my 3 tomato and pepper plants are doing great. I think the epsom salts really made the difference! Knowing we were going to be leaving I was hoping at least 1 big tomato would be ripe enough to eat before we left. One started turning red and I wanted to let it stay on the vine as long as possible. So the morning we were to leave I went out to pick it and dang if a critter didn't abscond with it!! My first tomato of the season! A 2nd one was starting to turn so I picked it and lovingly carried it all the way to Colorado. It's ripened beautifully on the windowsill. I'm hoping to pick up some mozzarella and basil tomorrow to make a capreese salad. Yummy!
Les Leung's petition on Change.org has been in existence for over a year now. Such petitions are designed to record your computer's unique ID when you sign, in order to prevent duplicate signatures. The system for recording computer IDs is pretty good but not foolproof.
In order to maintain the integrity of the collection of signatures, allow me to suggest that you not sign twice even if you're able to do so. Of course, you may not remember whether you've signed previously. I knew when I couldn't sign that it was because I signed the petition before, (about a year ago when I was one of the first few hundred signatures).

Didn't have any trouble signing but I may have signed before. It IS tough to remember, so many petitions and surveys................
Anywho...... Just checking in. Thanks for the tip Janet. The foliage is getting more brown all the time. Maybe they've just run their course IDK. It's odd that they were doing so well and produced about 30 pods from 8 plants and seem to have just shut off. We're just hoping that the pods mature completely before it's too late. Even at that, there won't be a half cup of shucked peas and enough Sugar Snaps for maybe ONE stir fry! Oh well, we can't expect much from such a small area and can't afford to cultivate a larger one.

The language is not the same, but it's the same petition. That's because Les has done many updates. Since the most recent update always appears at the top of the page, it looks like it's a different document. One way you can tell it's the same petition is to look at the number of signatures.... regardless of which version you go to, the number of signatures is identical.

Yes, knowing you have someone to go to "that really cares and that you can open up to" is possibly the best medicine around. The drain/drag it can take on that person can test their mettle many times over...

Mostly covered by Bells and others. Yes, Change does not allow duplicate signatures. If you've signed a petition there the "sign" button goes away. So even if you've signed it, you can push the link to all and sundry. If they've not signed it, the button will be there.
Yes, it's the same petition. Some of us have been bumping the thread here for over a year. Trying to remove the tobacco classification of ecigs. Lessifer got a lot of flack early on about that since most everyone else wanted to focus on the dooming itself. Uh, if it's not tobacco, it's not covered by any tobacco regs.... As I understand it, the idea was to not dilute the efforts. That's worked well...
And the mentioned Sen Johnson is aware of - and appreciative of - Les' petition.
What's been really discouraging to me is that there are 245,791 members of ECF and only 57,295 signatures...

Yabutt how many are not US citizens? From what I gather this is actually a UK run site. So any non US person would only dilute the list and pretty much make it irrelevant.
You read my mind, @garyoa1. To be safe, I recommend that you use some mental floss and brain wash immediately.
In addition, I think most of us would be amazed at how many ECF members there are who have never visited the ECF site after the day that they signed up. This holds true for any and all Internet groups.

Is it possible a passing beast pottied on your plants? That could kill them. Try watering them heavily one time, it could wash toxins away from the roots & g8ve them a chance to revive.
