How ya duin, Iffy? Looks like Matt must be getting closer all the time. I see he's starting to catch up on the threads so that's a good sign.
Sure hope so, we're ALL missin' ya buddy!!!
Women folk=drama
My daughter went to the er today with an anxiety attack, too much stuff goin on, bad breakup with boyfriend, and reaction to some meds, she is ok but requested to recover at my madhouse.
Step daughter (who is currently living with us) is planning to move out at the end of September, but is refusing to take the dog she has had for 8 years with her because she is tired of dealing with her. No problem, she will stay with us, she is as much our dog as anything, but it is upsetting the wife. Thinks it's cruel.
Wife is stressing because she wants to go back to school to be a pharmacy tech, but is afraid she can't do it. Has such a low opinion of her scholastic ability despite my assurances and promises to help her.
Too dann much estrogen around here.
Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.

They are supposedly being designed to last 5 - 7 years. I have seen quite a few not go past 2 or 3...
When does da PA 40% vape tax go live? Was wondering what would happen if PA. Gov. Tom Wolf received a lil' vape gift?
Devious minds would like to know...

I'm obstinate enough, but: "this will hurt me more than it hurts you" was definitely applicable and I'm not that much into pain. I will admit I did enjoy getting away for awhile, even though I didn't go anywhere except the grocery.
I got an Autel Robotics X-Star Premium. The cameras have the same specs, and the difference is only incremental, but the X-Star camera seems to have a better sensor and seems to deal better with changes in light, and seems to deal better with reflective surfaces and with the sun. One of these days I'll get both quads up in the air at the same time so that an exact video comparison can be made.
The other significant difference is very much to my liking: the X-Star software enables "point and click" waypoint flights. Except for the landing, the entire video below was shot by selecting 3 points on a Google map and hitting "go" in the app.
I thought the old unimproved ones were pretty good.
After hearing Kinga Glyk's bass guitar version, Eric Clapton's original of "Tears In Heaven" leaves me feeling like it's missing something. But the story behind the song is powerful. Clapton wrote it while still in deep despair after his 4-year-old son fell from a 53rd-story window and died in NYC in 1991.
This morning's flight with my new X-Star drone. No filter on the camera lens... I always use one with the Phantom drone. For the first time, I know for sure that the farmer across the creek actually grows something. I can't tell what it is. Could be collards, could be corn, could be tobacco.
Workshop on wheels! Or trips....I vote for roadtrip!Still alive. Don't know if I told you all but this last weekend was the first attempt at fixing the dash A/C in the motorhome. Pumped it down, fixed what we thought was the leak and charged it up. Icy cold blowing from the dash vents. All good, butttt waiiiiitttt! Got into the beast this morning and started it up. No cold air. Guages on once again. No charge. Broke out the freon leak detector and did a serious trace on the whole system. The a/c compressor is leaking like a sieve around the shaft where it goes into the clutch assembly. Ordered a new compressor and receiver/dryer and it should be here in a few days. We are keeping it so it's best that I fix it 100% correctly. While I have it apart I'll take the hoses to the local rubber shop and have them make me new ones. I already have a assortment of air conditioning system o-rings so I won't need them. Oh well, another 3 or 400 dollars down the drain. Just thought I'd check in and let you all know what I've been up to. Miss you all.![]()
Very cool!FOUND IT!
(ironically, just as Debadoo posted!)

The table and benches are single log slabs and we've shared many good times at that table.
He's quite the craftsman. The table is nearly 4 feet wide!
Okay, now I'm a little concerned. I don't know how to take that last post, Iffy.
Unpackaged ours when I got home today. Really like the size of 'em, particularly since it takes an 18650 batt. I popped a Kabuki on mine and really like that combination. I can see a couple more coming soon. That's a Provape Radius in the middle for comparison.
Jeez that really takes some nice pictures, really clear. Does it have a little more range? Looked like you were at a higher altitude. Pretty darned nice. This morning's flight with my new X-Star drone. No filter on the camera lens... I always use one with the Phantom drone. For the first time, I know for sure that the farmer across the creek actually grows something. I can't tell what it is. Could be collards, could be corn, could be tobacco.
Yep I wish I could do the work myself on this thing. It's kind of a money pit but today came out good. Got to Les Schwab which is a large tire and repair chain up here. They hooked it all up and the alignment was perfect but while checking the tire pressure found out the inside right dual was flat so the took them off and checked it out it must've happened on the trip up there cause I didn't notice anything on the way. Didn't do any damage to the tire but it was the valve extension so they replace that an remounted the tire. Total price for the whole job 0. It's where I got my tires at another location but I thought that was pretty good considering they spent about an hour on it.Workshop on wheels! Or trips....I vote for roadtrip!
huh???BTW, if ya'll ever note a total lack of humor and/or an obvious lack of appreciation in my demeanor here, put in your request fer my nic!
oh that sounds sooooooo good. It's grillin' time around these here parts so I'm gonna go fire up the coals.![]()
ROADTRIPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!I vote for roadtrip!
kewl!!! Jup we get our car tires at discount tire, and they've done a lot of flat work for free.Total price for the whole job 0.
Jup if it's really free like his was. I've seen a lot of "free" things that cost a lotta money!Nuttin' cheeper den free!
Bells, I'm sorry, but I had to laugh at the beginning of the video. To be honest, that's an experiment I would have tried myself. I'd have been out there trying to have one quad taking a video of the other quad.No humans or animals were harmed in the video below.
No humans or animals were harmed in the video below. The Phantom quad suffered non-fatal wounds. Captions explain the action. There's no doubt that the Phantom did the best job of videoing me from fairly close range. There's also no doubt that the X Star with no filter does a better job of videoing the sky and clouds than the Phantom would do with no filter, but you'll have to take my word for it because this doesn't show any video from the Phantom without a filter on it. The X Star makes me look too green. There are camera settings I can mess with to change that, I think, but everything in the video was shot in 4K with automatic camera settings.
The X Star is new enough that only one company makes a properly-fitting polarized lens for it, and I'll wait until the price drops below the current price of $40 before I get one.
