i can 'wander off topic' pretty easy,, then they would be coming after me......so to stay out of trouble i better leave that porch.. but its all good :) i feel like i know many of you,, you are my cyber friends who vape......and way out number the people in my life who actually vape :(
We all migrate to the front when we talk vape so that other vapers can find us. The FP is in the General vaping Discussion Forum where post #s count, & more rules apply. This is for RL, & silliness. It is in The Lounge Forum where things are more relaxed & it's not vaping only topics.

last week we took a road trip i really wanted to take...i have flown over many states, but i wanted to actually see them. now granted i should have wandered off the highway more..but we loved what we saw.

Houston to Memphis.. slightly hilly. then off to Jackson TN,,, to 'Casey Jones' for Sunday lunch... it was cute.. food was good. then up through Nashville to Kingston --my husband said if I can find a decent priced home he would move (yeah right).. Dead End bbq in Knoxville (loved that quirky neighborhood). we went through 2 tunnels and sat in road construction.

we took a short cut through North Carolina instead of our intended longer trip on our way to Myrtle Beach to visit with my bff I hadn't seen in 14 years because she got us an extra day for free at the condo we rented next to her on the beach. spent 4 days with her and her first mate.......that was a much needed visit. when we left we altered our path to visit Tybee Island (2 best beach island I have ever seen,,, Sanibel/Captiva Islands still have my heart).. then we got lost in Savannah---we agree we need to go back there. Georgia offered us fields of peach groves, pecan groves and solar panel farms (totally awesome!!!!),,, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana all pretty much looked the same. google maps welcomed us to every state line except on our short cut through North Carolina.... she must have been on break haha.

it was good to get out and good to come home. we are quite boring people as Graceland etc.. just doesn't interest us.

we expected more 'Route 66' type stops/food.. but must have been on the wrong highway/roads.

we finally used google to 'find best bbq near me'.. and that is how we ended up there....it was pretty good.
That sounds like a wonderful trip! I love long, lingering, winding roap trips with lots of scenery. Sigh.

Was that your post that got moved? IDK why the porches have been kind of mingling a lot lately. I was surprised it hadn't happened before. I don't know why they singled out yours. Oh well no biggie. I do the same thing all the time too. Like I say the porches seem to be joined at the hip lately. Not much vape talk over there except about certain flavors being bad for you. Blah Blah it did make me cut my flavoring in half which was a good move for me saves me money and no more chest pain at night on a day of hard vaping but a little bit of a hassle cause I had to make a bottle of VGPG and nic to cut my flavoring cause I had 500ml already made up and I was surprised at the difference. Still good flavor and much easier on my lungs. It is amazing to me that these flavorings are so strong that I can use them at 1.25% and still get good flavor.
That was my post that was moved. I just edited it on the FP & said I was moving itn then pasted it on the BP. No moderators were involved.

yeah we all do. Most folks visit both porches, but Tutu doesn't keep up with this one much. Most of us are just one big happy family, and now you're part of it. :) I rarely am around anyone in real life that vapes.

Newp, he said he came down through Dallas. He was coming from Indiana. Was so great to meet him for a bit!

Oh that sounds like a wonderful trip. Have always wanted to visit Georgia, especially Savannah and Tybee Island. When my son graduated basic training in 04, I drove to Ft Leonardwood, MO to see him graduate........didn't come home for 5 weeks, and only came home then cuz I was runnin outta money lol But got to visit a lot of places, and spent a couple weeks with a dear friend in Chalmette, LA. That's just outside NOLA about 5-10 mins in St Bernard's parish. Glad I got to see NOLA before Katrina.

Sorry to hear about the death, and hope her home is ok.

Great to see you darlin! but we don't want yur exes either! hehehe

No kenna moved one of mine over here because I'd asked how Sarah was doing. One of her sister's dogs that had cancer. So she moved it over here to answer me about that
I had replied to you with quote on the FP, then Yiddle got sad so I just cut the whole post, quote & all & moved it here. Your original post is still there.

i dont know if my posts where moved,, i didn't start on page 1 of that board so i didn't know about 'topic' rules. i did think i had upset someone but didn't really know what/how.-- no big deal now -i just wont wander over there.

my taste buds must be getting better too,,,i have been having to dilute my recipes a bit lately..i am not real picky so i make my normal mix and if it tastes a bit strong i will dilute it 25%+/- with neat.

my nebox tends to be 90% nic-neat and 10% recipe..its nice and mellow,, pallet cleanser :)
It wasn't just you @kross8! Several of us got off topic & were breaking ECF rules. It happens about once a week, so don't have hurt feelings. We wander OT & one of us will wake up, realize we are on the wrong whread for chit chat, & pull the rest of us back to reality. It's no big deal. No need to stay off the FP, it's mostly the same people in both places.

No, wasn't you. Was a bunch of us :)

As mentioned, the FP is out in the "general" area and needs to stay at least reasonably close to vaping topics. Of course occasional excursions will happen, but when they go to multiple pages (as most good discussions do!), a moderator will at first gently remind us all to get back to vaping topics. Worst case, if we choose to ignore the moderator, is the thread gets moved to the social areas, and then won't be out there to trap any new old(er) vapers. :w00t:

Here we're allowed to be a lot more free form :)

Psst... do not ask iffy!!!!

Yeah, rather than oiling the chair he's liable to cause MORE squeaks!

I don't know if you remember me telling you guys about my grandaughters dog that has Lupus well they finally found a combo that works for her I'm going to post some pics of it at it's worst and yesterday. It's actually his dog and it didn't look good but she wanted to keep working on it so she would be there when he gets home from Kuwait. Here is some before.

It affected her ears, nose, mouth, and the pads of her feet. She could barely walk it hurt her so bad. She was a real talker and hadn't done any of her dog talk for almost 3 months. This was her yesterday.

She has been taking her to the vet every week and the combo that finally worked was 100mg of prednisone plus an immune suppressent. She is now talking and sassy and can walk good everything is getting back to normal. They have cut her to 30mg of prednisone every other day and the suppressant every other day. It has cost her a lot but she wanted to get her fixed up she is only 8 and it is finally working. One of the drugs is $160 a month plus the prednisone and all the vet visits but she has really been taking good care of her and she is almost completely back to the old Vick.

oh that's a heck of a thing to wake up to! We've been wanting to get a slidin door with a doggy door in it to replace the sliding door we have, but would definitely wanna be able to close it up at night.

Hubby just found out that residential electricity will probably not be restored until Tuesday at the earliest. There are over 70,000 people without in my county. They are first reconnecting government and commercial electricity.
We had planned to get a generator in November when Hubby would be getting his work discount but of course he is bringing one home today & we'll set it up temporarily to hook up the fridge microwave and TV/internet.
Our county was declared a disaster area so we'll get at least some of the money the generator will cost back from FEMA.
Between the generators and chainsaws running in the neighborhood it sounds like a construction site.
We're not complaining though. We are among the lucky ones. Many people around here lost a lot more than electricity.

One of the drugs is $160 a month plus the prednisone and all the vet visits but she has really been taking good care of her and she is almost completely back to the old Vick.
wow-quite the recovery....(i have a major soft spot for pets)

oh that's a heck of a thing to wake up to! We've been wanting to get a slidin door with a doggy door in it to replace the sliding door we have, but would definitely wanna be able to close it up at night.

Jup, I didn't say it quite right. You only moved yours.
we can and do close it at night........except i went to bed first so it was my husbands job to do..........he didn't and it was funny when he realized this was avoidable.
