I mastered stealth wizzing in Texas...

A little harder to stealth wizz when you're female.

My daughter thinks she may have figured one of the cars out. She's on her way to the auto parts store to get what she thinks she needs. Under $50.

Crossing my fingers.

I wonder if they are going to have a fight on stage.
Not so far. He changes the subject. She answers challenges to her ethical problems. Gonna be a lot of split ticket voters, me thinks. Let her fight with a Republican congress.

I think we are in deep doodoo no matter who gets it. I know don't talk politics but this Syrian thing could cause a World War and I don't think it would last too long. I like what she said about not putting troops into Syria. I just hope Jacob and everyone else can get out of there before the poop hits the fan.

It's almost impossible for the camera to be unstable. The motorized camera stabilization gimbal counters every movement that the quad makes, no matter how turbulent the conditions.

It's pretty remarkable how fast the technology develops. 3 years ago, there was no such thing as a quad copter with a motorized camera gimbal.

Hubby just found out that residential electricity will probably not be restored until Tuesday at the earliest. There are over 70,000 people without in my county. They are first reconnecting government and commercial electricity.
We had planned to get a generator in November when Hubby would be getting his work discount but of course he is bringing one home today & we'll set it up temporarily to hook up the fridge microwave and TV/internet.
Our county was declared a disaster area so we'll get at least some of the money the generator will cost back from FEMA.
Between the generators and chainsaws running in the neighborhood it sounds like a construction site.
We're not complaining though. We are among the lucky ones. Many people around here lost a lot more than electricity.

Wow. Glad to hear that at least you didn't get hurt. Hope they can get the elec up and running before long.

Don't know if this works but this is her today.
This is what I mean by talking. 2 weeks ago she could hardly walk.

That was an amazing recovery. Poor baby. But she's very lucky to have someone who cared enough to help her.

You are all such organised and tech savvy vapers. I'm never gonna catch up. That's ok. Waitin on payday to place my diy stuff order. And maybe one of those provari 3's that are blemished. Any clue as to which things are being phased out, and what will still be available. All the vaping manufacturers must be making those decisions, but they aren't sharing.
Kenna, sorry to hear everything has been so full on. And Kaez, my heart goes out to you both. I was diagnosed with Copd eight years ago, only quit the cigs in February, so am now at the severe emphysema stage. Biggest impact is shortness of breath & limited stamina, and my anxiety and depression both were overwhelming.
I have only recently been able to stop the fear and tears, and am feeling more like myself.
So am gonna take my daughter and rent a tree house in the rainforest an hour away. Splurge on a massage for us bothMy goal is to make the hike to the waterfall. And come out of my funk. I'm not gonna let it ruin the things I can do, which is still a lot, if I pace it.
Been hoping no one was hurt, or lost their homes during Mathew. Has it passed? And how catastrophic was it?

Just do your best to stock up and you'll be ok. Lots of smart people here than can help with any questions or problems you might have.

Love the idea of the tree house and massage! Yay for you!!

I'm 343 messages behind but,we are finally in Florida. We can't go to my brother's place in Daytona yet and the closest campground we could find is in Kissimmee near Disney. Nice place though. Kind of pricey. So nice that we are going to stay a cpuple of days just to relax then head over to Daytona for a few days before heading to Deerfield Beach. My Brother in Law checked on the house and says everything is fine. Lost power for a couple of hours is all. Well it's definately bedtime so I'll check in later. Thank you Gracie for letting everyone know we were ok. Later folks. Zzzzzzzzzzz:sleep:

Matt, so glad to hear you arrived. You sure do need a couple days to relax and catch your breath after all your preparations. Hope you don't run into Matthew aftermath problems. Take your time and be safe.

thank you.. i miss my Sassy girl,, putting her to sleep was so hard

It is. But we always told our clients that their pet was lucky to have a mom or dad who was able to make such a hard decision and give their beloved pet that final gift that took pain and discomfort away.

That was a beautiful poem and so true. Even though it's a great act of love to let them go it's SO hard.

Just today we had a scare with our daughter's dog. She hadn't been feeling well for the last day or 2 and today she had bloody ........ at the dog park. Off to the vets they went hoping it wasn't the nasty diagnosis we found online for her symptoms. She's 10 years old, not a pup anymore, but still not that old for a medium size dog. Doc thinks she picked up guardia (sp?) so they hydrated her and she's got meds that should fix her up in a few days. Whew! That dog is so sweet and very special to us it was hard to fight back the tears until we got some good news after the blood work.

Turned off the debate before the end. It was a perfect example of a polished politician and one who's trying to be one. Can't wait till this election is over!

Except for the vet situation it was a lovely day spent with the family. Took my sister to La Baguette for some of the best French Onion Soup we've ever had. She took a sip or 2 and we asked how she liked it. She just replied that she couldn't talk now and pretty much didn't until she was done. Said it was worth the trip to CO Springs to get it!!

Hope Flowersoul made out ok with her house. Some places are still having a really hard time even after the 'cane passed. Gotta keep those prayers and good thoughts going out to them.

Bells, hope your elec comes on soon and you can get out of your driveway without too much trouble. Might be better to stay put if you can for a day or 2 to let some of that water drain.

Janet take it from me never google symptoms because you will surely have a life threatening illness. Pups too.

That's one talking dog for sure! Love the video! I once knew a dog who said exactly the same gregarious things!

The power company won't commit to anything more than "we hope to have everyone's power restored by Sunday October 16th". That's a whole week away. Since I'm in a very rural location with a low concentration of houses, I'm low priority, as I know from 2 major power outages in the past 20 years. One was Hurricane Floyd and the other was a big ice storm.

So, until then, you'll find me in this motel room, with decent wi-fi but a puny 32" TV. I'm spoiled by the 70" TV I got within the past year.
