Visual voice-mail has been stopped and disabled, but you may very well be onto something with the PRL. It does seem to occasionally bounce between 4-5 bars and 0 bars on the reception signal. Hmmm. That gives me something to look at, maybe I can "help it along" somehow. Thank you, UW. Your patience and insight is much appreciated. :)
If you have the weather channel ap get rid of it. That one was REALLY bad for killing battery on my iPhone.

That was one of the first ones I killed! Those apps are terrible (and not very accurate  ).

The freedom of a dumb-phone! :D

Blergh! I know! I kinda miss my old idjit-phone. Open/Close, On/Off, Talk/Text... but I've grown rather dependent on the convenience of the camera... ;)

So first off no one was hurt...

Dad gum smeg for brains ankle while swooped in in front of me on a wet highway and slammed on the breaks, totalled my car, good thing it was caught on traffic cams

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.

Oh man, that sucks. Couldn't like that post. Assuming you weren't hurt? Does your insurance cover a rental till you find a replacement?

If not, the guy who was "at fault" should have insurance, and that should cover a rental. At least, that's the way that it worked for me here in Texas... but, different states; different laws...

Yeah, those rear enders generally garner the rear vehicle at fault in my neck of the woods .. of course, today being the last day of the working week / month / Holiday Weekend, etc .. the populace at large is in the more than usual hurry to get where ever it is they are going .. and since Gov Checks I'm sure have hit as well .. I had to run out to Lowes earlier for a new bandsaw blade and regretted it within 5 minutes ..

You've had a bad run, Russ .. tell me something good that's happened .. please .. ?? :)

I don't think so. It ran for 4 days and dropped from 100% to 85% before I put the SIM card in it. (I was waiting for the SIM unlock code.) As soon as I unlocked the SIM and connected to the T-Mobile network, then the apps started trying to connect to everything. It dropped from 85% to 25% in a matter of ~3 hours. Ever since then, the battery drops from 100% to <25% in around 12 hours. I've turned on Eco Mode, I've enabled the battery app, I've turned off every application possible... doesn't seem to make much difference. I typically only make 2-3 phone calls a day (the longest being my lunch break; where I spend ~30 minutes on the phone talking with my Bride). It is just baffling how quickly this battery drains, and it is all due to the background crap that I can't turn off.

we went to the Honors Program at my daughters' high school.
So nice to hear a success for a young lady. You have a reason to puff out your chest and have a Cheshire Cat Smile.

I couldn't help but tell them how impressed I was at how they handled their young brood.
My wife was always fast to complement parents who use teaching moments and have well-behaved children.
Our youngest son is of the opinion that if you do not correct your kids it is his right to step in and do it for you.

So first off no one was hurt.
Even though you weren't hurt, be careful as sometimes an injury will not show until a couple days later. I am glad that it is not your fault and a car can be replaced.

Off for some "down" time as well, see you all monday!

Be safe, have fun!
Have a safe and fun weekend.

This one needs to be plugged in by lunch time, and again before bed...
dang......yeah I'm thinkin you need to "root" it.......bout 5 feet underground and hope it stays there or grows a better phone!

For those of those wunderin about kodi. Here's a tutorial about adding one add on (among thousands). And if I didn't mention it before... 99.9% are free add ons. As is this one.

If you have kodi, this guy does a few a week so a good one to subscribe to.

Subbed to his channel. This seems so complicated, but probably not so much when you do it. Really wanna be able to watch tv ON the tv not a computer. How does this work with multiple tv's?

Thank God no one was hurt, but yes, pay attn to your body the next couple of days. Hope all insurance issues go smoothly and you end up with a better car than you had!! Hey it can happen :)

Debz got a hatchet.
Just sayin...
and knows how to use it!!!
