Confused about the petition Ken......It seemed to be geared toward Floridians, would it do any good to have non Floridians sign it?

Ok.....now for some closer to home (for all of us) vape news. This was posted by Rolygate, seems next week, ECF will be moving to a new software. Hope there aren't too many growing pains associated with it and that it ends up being a great thing. Regardless, seems like it's necessary to keep ECF on the air so to speak.

Ok, so....Iffy likes these, some think it may be too much heat for a cover on em, Bells says CR hasn't reviewed em yet.....what's the general consensus on these ones for a good all around use in anything in the house bulb???

I'll let you know when I get them. I ordered the maximum allowed number of 3, supposed to be here on Tuesday. I needed a new 3-quart sauce pan too, and that was enough to meet the Amazon Prime free shipping for the bulbs. "Fully enclosed" and "covered" are two different animals. I have plenty of fixtures with covers that are not fully enclosed, and that's where I'll put the bulbs.

There's no way to know the location of the signers, since all that's asked is name and email address. Physical address is not requested. Sign it! Love Roku. We still have Dish, but have the Amazon prime and netflix, although haven't been watching netflix too much as of late. We take spells with it. Have been wondering about hulu, but it would have to be good enough to replace netflix.



Love me some TCM!! I bout had a cow when DISH took it off, but it didn't stay off long. Seems like they took off a lot of channels to see how much of a stink folks would make about it. They heard from me as well, when they took off Fox news too for about a week or two. Jup I'm one of them! lol Was very glad they put that back too.

I watch it all... a politically aware animal am I. Frankly, I would not order the Philips LED bulbs if there was a possibility of me putting them in fully enclosed fixtures. In fact, I can use all 3 of the ones I'm getting in open or semi-open outdoor fixtures and then I won't have to worry about it any further. Probably safe to put them in enclosed fixtures but since I don't know for sure, I'll put them only in locations that are not fully enclosed.

I must admit that I'm not familiar with Greg Gutfeld, although it's quite possible I have heard him without attaching his name. Anyone who speaks sense about vaping is a friend to me. I don't know of any reason for vaping to be a partisan issue.

So... Yes. If you or any member of your family could visit the Sunshine state anytime in the next one thousand years, every signature will help.
I make sure to sign any such petition regardless of state or country. Some won't let you, but I always give it a shot.

Those are the ones I got at Home Depot. Been in use for about five months now - no problems. They do generate heat though - thus the warning about not putting them in an enclosed fixture. They are kinda weird looking because of their flatness but it does give off 360 degree light. We have one in a desk lamp with dimmer that has a "half shade" so to speak so the bulb is partially visible, and that one looks odd because it 'lands' at at angle once it's screwed in place. Don't care - it's nice to have an energy efficient bulb in that one that works with the dimmer again. For a 60 watt equivalent bulb these suckers are bright. Better than incandescent and a lot better than older CF bulbs.

And... the price on Amazon went back up to $4.97 - which is what I paid for them at Home Depot.
