At least now you can tell your doctor that you cut back on your coffee.

If nephew in law is not a real thing, it should be, because the definition is clearly understandable. All my life, I've been more confused than most by the names used to describe familial relationships. 6th cousin? What the heck does that mean? 2nd cousin 3 times removed? (Rhetorical questions; I really can't absorb the knowledge even if you do a great job of explaining.)Here is a blog post my nephew in law (is that even a real thing) about the history of Daytona Bike Week in my hometown. Thought I would post a link so you guys could read it. Of course it's from his business Web blog so there might be a few ads (a few?) but, definately don't even feel obligated to even look at them.
Daytona Bike Week
Thank you Janet and everyone else. Yes, I am a Dog Guy. My wife and I have owned, bred, shown, trained, handled, groomed, rehabilitated, and loved Alaskan Malamutes (and many other animals) for the past 20 years. I was a smoker for over 35 years until 2 months ago (happy anniversary to me). I was lucky enough to drop the stinkies within 3 days of beginning vaping!
I started with a mvp2.0 and a vv4 with the standard iclears and some dura true liquid. I moved faaaar away from the tanks but still use my innokin gear every day. Tanks are now nautilus, nauti minis, kanger sub nano (with the 1.2's) aero, mini aero..... I'm using a ton of juices, but am really quite happy with Vash's net juices, and njoy artists paramour. Getting ready to move up to a bit higher wattage with either an istick 50 or maybe a ipv mini with a billow or an rda/rta...
That's my story, and I'm stickin to it![]()

A sig sauer works pretty nicely...Lol
It's hard in a way, because you try very hard to be a good representative of the sport of showing dogs. You really want to let people interact with the dogs and most of the dogs love the attention. We all want spectators to have a great time and feel welcome. I've seen many a handler and owner bite someone's head off for getting too close to one of their dogs...I just can't be that way, nor do I want to be.
OK. Caught up. For about 2 minutes! Time to check out the other porch and find out how far behind I am there.
This is ridiculous!

Very seriously: Take statin drugs if you must, but do not blindly accept them as benign drugs either.
We were in a Cracker Barrel restaurant yesterday and they had a plaque that said "instant human, just add coffee".

Not to get too specific, but I wonder if tadpoles find their eggs faster when they swim in a caffeine-enriched environment.Darn!! If I'd only had that info when my kids were born, it would have been a lot easier!!![]()
6th cousin pretty much means you can marry them if you want to. 1st cousins not so much.If nephew in law is not a real thing, it should be, because the definition is clearly understandable. On a tangential subject, I'll take this opportunity to once again promote my personal belief that genealogy should give maternal lines the same emphasis that paternal lines get. They do NOT do that, no matter how much they claim to, and even in my own family, the most common reaction to my belief is silence.
Shoot, it's nothing more than a long-ingrained custom that results in women changing their maiden names upon marriage. I think it's just plain silly that this custom results in a greater emphasis on paternal ancestry than maternal ancestry.
Sure, tracing maternal lines is much more complicated than tracing paternal lines because of the name changes. So what!! I am every bit as much a product of my maternal ancestry as I am of my paternal ancestry, but know so much less of the maternal line details.
Now, could someone please bring me a soap box so that I can step down off of it?
And on an unrelated subject: yep, having just been in touch with the doctor's office, I now know I'm getting an endoscopy and a colonoscopy in the same visit. Cool!

In a number of US states, including yours, there are no restrictions at all regarding first cousins marrying each other.6th cousin pretty much means you can marry them if you want to. 1st cousins not so much.
I guess RL kicked in and everyone had to go take care of it...
We have company visiting this week so my wife is moving furniture and organizing everything - seems every time someone visits - changes have to be made???![]()

In my 38 years of marriage I have never had a visitor come into the house and get down on their hands and knees to inspect under the couch. That being said she does the same thing, move everything, vacuum under it then get out the swiffer damp mop thingy and mop under it too. Never seen anybody eat off the floor either and it smelled just fine in the house. You wouldn't even know we had cat and dog. Cat poops and the box gets cleaned instantly. Almost like she follows the cat around to catch it as it plops! (if anybody asks, I never said any of the preceding)I guess RL kicked in and everyone had to go take care of it...

May be legal but genetically it's really not a good idea.In a number of US states, including yours, there are no restrictions at all regarding first cousins marrying each other.

Maybe even something off the computer. I just vacuumed the downstairs for example. Hate that. In 1 minute and 17 seconds I am going to have to fold clothes. I have been domesticated dammit! Whoda thunk it?Real Life: that's when you have to do something on the computer other than ECF, right? Like maybe a coffee roasting forum, or FB, or something like that?

Actually, that's not necessarily true. The 64 oz mug died a good while ago, back when I was using store-bought roast coffee with which I had to use milk to cut down on the bitterness. For the past 3 years I've been roasting my own coffee which I realized early on doesn't need milk added, so there's not necessarily any less coffee in my 52 oz mug than there used to be in my 64 oz mug.
I always put a whole pot full of coffee in my 52 oz mug, along with a good amount of sugar. Purists may drink their coffee black and unsweetened but I much prefer my brew to be generously sweetened. My worst pot of home-roasted coffee is better than the best store-bought coffee I've ever had, although I'll gladly drink store-bought when that's all that is available. I do, though, take my own coffee with me if I'm traveling anywhere, to minimize having to drink anything else.
My doc has never made a big deal of my coffee consumption. Yes, coffee oils raise cholesterol to some degree but there are so many other things which have far greater effects on cholesterol intake.
Vacuum in one hand, tablet in the other but, I couldn't type and it was driving me bonkers.Something not computer-related? You, sir, are obviously a Neanderthal. Surely, in reference to the vacuuming, you mean operating the vacuum with one hand while operating a computer with the other.
I spent half an hour working in my yard yesterday, with no computer, accomplishing a good 10 minutes worth of work. It felt like I was on Mars. (Enjoyed it, actually.)
Gosh, Bells ... Reading this, I might think you have an opinion about coffee![]()

Sent while sitting on my busted ..... Stay off the ice if you can't skate. I can't and didn't.
Self-defeating. I've never known a cat that isn't in a litter box within 60 seconds after you clean it.
That my friend is a true statement. If that long. Just keeps the house from stinking. And yes Bells, I know my cat, he's dumb as a box of rocks. I am truly amazed that that brain can generate enough electricity to make it move. Well it doesn't actually move much!Self-defeating.
