Deb, you always have a way of making me laugh till I spit water out my nose.
Ain't that the truth!!
Good morning everybody. Three weeks
tobacco free and I've lost seven pounds! Drinking flavored unsweetened sparkling water instead of diet Cokes and cut my caffeine back to less than two cups of coffee a day. Salads for lunch with watermelon, raisens, pineapple, spinach, mixed greens, cherries, apple and walnuts...tasting so scrumptious and juicy. I'm feeling pretty good.
Sounds like a yummy diet! So glad to hear that you're feeling better. Probably your food tastes better now that you've quit smoking.
Family issues with my late father's estate and estranged sisters coming out of the woodwork to cause more grief for my dad's wife have me heartbroken. Writing her nasty letters and have never met her in the thirty years they were married. Angry at me for reconciling with him many years ago. Lies, lies, lies and spewing hate. Bragging about all their accomplishments without him. My dad's wife is such a lovely person and led my father back to the Church, so the last forty years of his life spent with her were glorious ones. Some people!!!
Been through that in our own family and it sucks. At least you're supportive and as for the others, some people are just going to be mean and nasty and ignoring them is probably the best thing you can do. Trying to interact with them will only escalate the problem.
Doggie Captain, the pug, is ten years old, moping around and kinda staggering or limping. Taking him to the vet this morning to see what's going on. Just not his bright and chipper self.
When we had that problem with our cairn terrier it turned out she had a raging case of Lyme! Fortunately medication fixed her up. How it's a simple for your pug too.
Hoping your day is a good one and you all who are industrious and planning and building have much success. Can't wait for pics.
