Cast iron skillets are like potato chips...can't have just one!

When I have the cooking equpment, I use it so often that it sits on top of the stove, anyway. Now I just have an electric skillet.

Easy to find one at a second hand or antique store, already seasoned, but you will have to do the coat of cooking oil and oven to re-season it, if it has not been used for a while.

47 degrees here. Did quilt piecing and roasted coffee last night. My neighbor put so much charcoal in the grill for his pork chops that once he was done, I had no problems getting a dark roast. I hope not too dark.

It will take effect Oct 1 and you can bet it will pass it is about 50 pages long if you would like to read it. Guess I'm going to stock up a little more then I will have to depend on friends cause I'll be damned if I am going to pay $320 for a $200 mod.

May or may not pass. I did comment through CASAA and through the Legislative site, only one "canned" response so far - but from one who will likely oppose it.

Heck, there could be a lot of "care" packages coming from out of State porchers to us, Legs!

The grandson is fine, but the daughter is wailing because the fact that she delayed going to the E.R. has resulted in a Department of Family and Children's Services home investigation. The guy is supposed to be calling me on Monday as well. Bunch of crap. She's a terrific mom. Loves and respects her kids, and they love and respect her.

Bleached 15 sq feet of cement to keep the black mold away, fixed the pool temp sensor, did some laundry, worked in my garden and yard, missed my lunch nap.
I'm not skipping my evening 2 hour nap today like I did yesterday! I'ma gonna need it!

We have a new Triple Crown winner! American Pharaoh did it like a stroll in the park. Fantastic race. For an old horse rider and racer, I have goosebumbs and heart needs to stop pounding. Only his 8th career start. Amazing horse (and rider!)

Not even for all the money I can handle... I still have 130 sq foot of concrete to sanitize... And that is just the back yard... Still trying to figure out the best time to do small patches in the front walk so the walking dogs have the least chance of hurting their little paws.
And, I still have to go looking for a cabinet for my home office space to put my work stuff in so I can waste even more time moving my office stuff home. Hopefully before they give my work cube to someone else.
