Double YaY...cuz i love milk chocolate!Tho it doesn't really matter if it's "good for me or not...I'm eating it anyway. At my age i can do what i want:p

I like you philosophy.

Milk can contribute to UTIs as you get older. When you are in your seventies and eighties a UTI is awful. My MIL never came out of the nursing home after hers. She has been in Assisted Living Memory Care every since. That's the main reason we're moving. I know your not near that old but, just saying, it's something to keep in mind.

Well shoot - I've got a year left to enjoy my milk.

Sweet calm laid-back little Tukii has turned into the Tazmanian devil the last couple of days:D Earlier she was chasing a fly or some bug and she jumped 2/3 of the way up a wall to catch it.But she also acts like she's part doggie...always rubbing up against my feet and legs and when I talk to her she "talks" back to me...we have some very interesting convos!

Hope everyone has a great night....I'm off to the tub and a bubble bath as I was playing around in the dirt all afternoon and now I'm all stinky.

Our Maggie, likes to sit in my lap each morning and talk to me. I think she's telling me about her dreams.

It is misleading to say that no tobacco is involved, in regard to juice vaped by those who use nicotine.

Is it as much of a falsehood as when people say that our vaporized liquid is nothing more than water vapor? No, it isn't.

Nicotine can be produced from things other than tobacco but it is not economically feasible to do so. Nicotine is found in things other than tobacco, no argument there.

But none of those defenses change "no tobacco in involved" into a true statement.

My point is that personally, I leave it to the other side to make misleading statements. That's just the way I am. Without apologies I will remain a total PITA about it. For those who would say that it's necessary to lie because the other side lies more, I'm sorry but I'm not that far gone yet.

I hear ya, biggie. :) BUT... is smoking tobacco really that bad? Obviously cigs are BUT what about just plain tobacco? I'm not so sure. Remember there are tons of additives (including inhaling the smoke from paper). Not to mention the additives the gov requires so that they don't stay lit.

That's wonderful news! Nice to hear something positive!

On the home front:
We got the key to the apartment late in the afternoon and were told that we just had to wait until the cleaners were through. They didn't do a perfect job. They were obviously in a hurry.

Management has asked if we could pretty please have our old apartment empty, cleaned, and whatever by Sunday night. That way maintenance will have a week to do repairs and such for the new people coming in behind us.

I got a nice surprise. I had been planning on having the smallest bedroom since I have the smallest bed. But, as soon as my daughter walked into that little bedroom, she said it would be better suited to Nick (her oldest son, my 15 year old grandson). And, he seemed to feel the same way. So, everybody's happy.

We even moved a few little things in already! Just some little odds and ends to get them out of the way of the big stuff tomorrow. Tomorrow night, I will be sleeping in my new bedroom and using our new, bigger kitchen.

That really is exciting! Congratulations!

My older fridge was making strange fan noises so my landlord sent out a stupidly small replacement fridge. He had to put it next door cause I enclosed my carport. So I had to get my boy to help me move it into the house and it seems the kid's stronger then me, cause I'm all stove up with my back and Kellen don't feel a thing. My mind is 20 but my back is 54, ouch!

A year or so ago Mike and I were carrying a chest of drawers down the stairs with some difficulty when we suddenly realized that we can't do this stuff like we used to! The next day we had a heavy TV to take up the stairs that would have taken the 2 of us and our son just picked it up by himself and took it upstairs like it was nothing! Sheesh! That was a shocking reality check!

Yikes! Is Google listening/recording what's said in the hangout too.

Yesterday, news broke that Google has been stealth downloading audio listeners onto every computer that runs Chrome

I sure hope not. Couldn't really tell precisely what this was saying, and it used no sources, kept talking about linux, debian, ubuntu which I don't use but I know some here do. I hope this is just a hyped thing, but who knows. It is just one reason why I turn my computer off completely when I'm not using it.

Mornin Janet......is the kitchen finished yet?

Not yet. We still won't have a sink until Tues when the counters are installed. When the cabinets were delivered they dropped the pantry and are sending us a new one, hopefully to be here by mid week. The bottom trim needs to be done, grout the tiles and the hardware put on the cabinets. Most of the cabinets have pull out shelves so I'm trying to figure out where to put things (what a happy problem to have!) I'm still learning how to cook with gas, but haven't done much cooking since it's hard to cook without a sink. We've been shopping for new lights but haven't found what we like yet, but there's no big hurry for them. As soon as the contractor is done we hope to post before and after pictures. It's truly amazing. :):thumb::hubba::thumbs::banana::rickroll:

Happy Birthday Kim

Janet, you're enjoying the organizing, and the progress of seeing a dream kitchen come true, and once you get to the cooking, watch out chefs! :)

DH, that is great news!

I haven't read back much cause of time restraints and family in for an extended visit, so I just read the last page, but wanted to make sure I'm still counted as a Porcher, cause I love my Porchers!!!!!

A breath - well, maybe a wisp! - of fresh air. While it's apparently out of committee, it still needs to pass both House and Senate... and be signed. If part of a bigger budget (or other) bill, who knows...

Don't forget to take move out and in pics for your protection :)
And congrats on the bigger bedroom!

Agree! Let them make factual errors so we can point out how uninformed they are! Give them ONE factual error, and they'll spin it to our death.

Another fine reason to NOT use Chrome! (And all the talk in the article about Linux is because the same action in the Linux fork of Chrome led to it's being not a good thing for / from the folk who maintain Linux. No such open source analysis in Win or Mac.)

But I do wonder if a firewall setting could prevent Chrome from using cam and mic... Don't use Chrome, and not going to install it to find out!
