I've never figured out how to stay in business not doing what you say your going to do. Basic rule of life even... DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU GOING TO DO! At least my life anyway.

Well, the tree guy didn't show up again today. He did call a little while ago to say he'd be coming tomorrow. Uh huh. Guess he didn't wind his calendar until this afternoon. It seems this is a side job for him and he said he was hung up at his regular job. Well, Mike is going to be here tomorrow working on the laundry room, but I won't so I won't get to see how he's going to take down the tree - if he does show up.

The only contractor that we didn't have a problem with was the guy who did our kitchen. Very professional. We usually do work here ourselves, but the times we did have a contractor they always just wanted to get to their next job before finishing up the details of ours.

I was running around doing errands most of the day and came home to make a pot of stuffed peppers. Smells wonderful in here! I have a wedding shower to go to tomorrow so Mike will have leftovers.

I spent the better part of the last two days sleeping. Now, I'm going to the roller derby!!

chile, I forgot all of the above. It was a hoot, though. That was my first time ever going to roller derby live, up close and personal. My daughter does come up with some wild and fun ideas.

Jup. If folks haven't dealt with constant debilitating pain and what it does to you, they just don't get it.

I fully understand how this is as I live in constant pain. Some days are better than others. Unfortunately can't do the exercises I used to do and yes, the weight has packed on and I can't get rid of it.

gotta run. You ladies are distracting me. I have things to do so I can take it easy tonight. see ya, in a while.

Somehow I figured you were easy.

Now if I could get her to quit smoking I'm sure that isn't helping either but everytime I mention it she gets a baseball bat out and chases me around the motorhome.

People always commented on how I always treated my wife the way I did. Always courteous and respectful, treating like the lady she was, etc. What they didn't realize was that she knew when I slept, where I slept, and where the baseball bat was kept!

You know how we older folks are just love to talk about our afflictions
