Ain't that the truth. I really do feel better after venting a little bit about my ailments. Like I said earlier however, I am doing much better since we've be here in Deerfield Beach. Maybe I am going to like it here after all. Now if we can work out the workshop issue I'll be ok.

Thank you. I've been keeping pretty busy and also catching up on 20 years of lost sleep.

Still at Dad's and still lovin' it. I even made an appearance in Hangouts. Talked to Iffy for the first time the other night and darn near fell in love. heehee Hopefully, I will start stopping by more often but I still try my best to keep up with y'all.

I don't go in the hangout as much as I would like but, I would live to see you when I do.

Got a honey do list as long as my arm so I'll make the hangout later. Don't really have a quiet place either since I'm using cell phone. Would be nice to be able to prop it up in just the right position without having to hold it. Holding it gets tiring quickly.

So I'm driving to church this morning and Jesus calls (really that's his name), says he's at my house, is it OK to cut down the tree. Yep, I say ... I'll be back on in 5 minutes. (no mass isn't that fast, I did a later mass). So he and his helper Karl go to work. 2 1/2 hrs later it's all done and cleaned up. Well worth the $300 - yes it was.

This was a Leyland Cyprus. The nursery people told me it doesn't do good in our climate area and won't get more than 20ft high. Yeah! Right! Grew pretty dang big in 15 years.

What a shame you had to take it down. Beautiful tree. I have a fig tree that I had to take down because it was to close to the house also...

I've procrastinated for years taking it down just 'cause it was a healthy tree. About 5 years ago ... trimmed it way from up high to ground level, 4 feet from the house. It was really touching the house from ground level to the roof - not good. Didn't take long to fill out again. It was time.
