Kenna, you have no idea how many porchers are 'pulling' for you and praying for the best! At least you're on your first leg of a 'give no quarters and full speed ahead' course. <day-um, just too many saltss on da porch>

Ummm, think ya are underestimating our family members (don't go dere... oh, too late)!

As far as sea men, they're more familiar with decks, not floors...

Kinda wondering what da diff is twix 'being decked' vs. 'I'm floored' means now...

I am so granteful for everyone here!

And....:censored:

A couple years ago I had to replace my laptop. I wound up getting an HP. All of the other laptops I have owned were Toshiba's. One of the continuing problems I have had is with the touchpad. I hate it! As I type my palms very softly touch it and it changes the screen size. I have tape covering it so it isn't as sensitive, that doesn't help. Tonight I was looking through settings and finally discovered that I can disable the touchpad. This option was not available in 8.1. Finally happy with being able to type and not keep changing the screen size. Yea!!!

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical,
Liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Just popping my head in to say "Hello". Welcome to newcomers!!

I haven't had much of anything interesting to say so I've been quiet. Of course, it doesn't help that I've been ripping and running since I've been home. Doctor appointment on Thursday.......recurrent training on Friday. THAT was fun. (NOT) Out of town yesterday. I think I need to go back to work to get some rest.

And welcome home to you too Roto. Even though you haven't had time to settle down yet I'll bet your glad to be home.
You know, Matt, sometimes I wonder. I have no need for this house anymore....not really. The kids are gone. I only use a certain amount of space. I have two rooms blocked off and the vents closed. Why air condition or heat two rooms that I don't even use? If it weren't for my little fur babies, I wouldn't worry so much about getting home.

I watch BBC and sometimes Al Jazeera to get a different set of endlessly repeated stories than the ones on the US-based news networks.

I used to watch those to get alternative propaganda to balance out the US media. Not really paying much attention to Nooze in a while. It reduces the stress level.
