It happens, get distracted for 1/2 a sec and you get bit. Antihistamines don't help. It's hard to work like this. I've hacked a few lung cookies so I'm fighting off haveing to go to an MD for anti biotics.
My 2 yr cable deal just jumped to $100 a month I can deal with it but just seems excessive cause I really dont wtch te tv. Cable internet access to yak with you guys. where else can I find friends as wild as us?
I signed up on the petition that Ken posted cause there's too much gov. reg. going on and it needs to be stopped. Too many small interest groupes trying to tell us how to live by their standards. I gottav go to the porn sites and order juice.

Oh my, that is lovely. I gave up on getting any pretties because I'm very talented when it comes to breaking them. In fact, I just broke one on Friday. It had metal on the top and bottom and a glass vase shape in the middle. I dropped it on the rug and it broke off! That metal tube does not run through the whole tip.
Mike is off fishing so I have the day all to myself and wouldn't you know, I woke up with some kind of intestinal bug. So much for plans for the day. At least the sun is shining and it looks beautiful out there.

Janet, so sorry the bug seems to have gotten you. I understand it's going around and everybody knows that babies are actually big petri dishes. How else would they develop that wonderous immune system we all have. No blaming Miles of course, just saying. Get better quick, probably just a 24 hour thing.

Another klutz here, lol. I stayed away from glass tips when I was just using vv v3s, I knocked them over with alarming regularity. I'm hoping that since this tip is shorter and I'm using it on an iStick it will survive for a while, at least until the newness wears off anyway. Sorry to hear you're under the weather, hopefully it's one of those 24 hour things and you'll feel better tomorrow.
Ahh, Roku. Hulu. US networks feeds. Amazon Prime shows. I remember da dayz. But I'm NOT IN DA STATES! Nuttin werks here. They just got netflix a few months back. And yes... for tech that we're used to... it don't exist.
You might try ustvnow.com. You can try it for free and see how you like it. It was created for people outside the US. They stream around 20 channels live over the internet. I use it with my Roku/TV and my laptop. They stream 6 basic channels for free, or you can pay for the rest ($19/month for 3 months, then $29/month). Go to FAQ at the bottom of the page to find out more. It works really well most of the time, but every couple of weeks it keeps loading and I can't view anything.

The club meeting was canceled for tonight due to the illness of some primary members.
Here it is 3pm already!!
I've only accomplished a small amount today
Hospital to have stitches from last week removed.
Pc repair shop to have my work checked and one minor thing corrected. (Mom's PC works again)
Meet friend for lunch
Dead-head flowers, restake leaning ones, water where needed
And I have not even STARTED cleaning up the house for parents to visit next week!
Or rearranging furniture
Or tightening the springs on the rocker couch.
Or laundering the bedclothes
And I still need a nap!

I watched the whole thing until it stood up. Then the low battery warning on my laptop went off, so I had to shut down or plug in & keep watching from a chair in the office. I'm house sitting at my nephews & they don"t have cable.
They do have wifi, tho. 
And a smart tv, if I could just figure out how to connect to my Uverse account on the internet connection on their tv..
So... whatcher saying is they are trying to re-launch WebTV.
Under a new name of course...

Ok, so....Iffy likes these, some think it may be too much heat for a cover on em, Bells says CR hasn't reviewed em yet.....what's the general consensus on these ones for a good all around use in anything in the house bulb??? Don't need dimmable since we don't have dimmer switches.
I can wander with the best of them.
Love Roku. We still have Dish, but have the Amazon prime and netflix, although haven't been watching netflix too much as of late. We take spells with it. Have been wondering about hulu, but it would have to be good enough to replace netflix.
That's why I DETEST satellite. Yet I'm stuck with it. And... we have cable too. But the cable co. doesn't carry Turner classic movies. Which is on 98% of the time.
Love me some TCM!! I bout had a cow when DISH took it off, but it didn't stay off long. Seems like they took off a lot of channels to see how much of a stink folks would make about it. They heard from me as well, when they took off Fox news too for about a week or two. Jup I'm one of them! lol Was very glad they put that back too.
So sorry hun......hope it's better soon.......and you too Run......and you too Janet!! And anyone else who may be feelin poorly, injured, or in Run's case, both!!
