If the eGo would last all day, I'd never have bought mods, I love the eGo for it's size and convenience.
The cutting line. I love my Vamo. The VW is just an extra advantage. But once I start rebuilding my coils, an Ω reading will be great. Hey, that was cool Ω Ω Ω I finally got an opportunity to try it out.

I have an ohm meter on the way and my Zmax reads ohms too, if it ever gets here. Don't know if the LavaTube clone does or not, didn't come with directions. It does read the battery voltage left though and that's a help.

Quick question! Do batteries, like 18650 have to charge a few times to get to their 'longevity' in use?

Charged new Panasonic 18650's, they only charged to 3.5V according to my LT, but the lights had turned green, so I figured they were done. One only lasted a couple hrs in the LT set at 3.8 with a 2.2 coil. Why? Am I missing something?

Let us know after you get them properly charged! And yes, should last you all day unless you are a chain vaper all day. I vape pretty heavy and it is rare to change 18650's in the same day for me and I run 5 volts or around 11 watts, so not low power. I have gotten to where I change them every morning though whether they seem like they still have a good charge or not since I read in the battery section that with lithium batteries it is actually easier on them to charge them at like 40%. That is counter intuitive to what I was always ingrained with batteries like Ni-cads because they can get a "memory" if you charge them at 40%, then 60% of the battery is all you have basically after a while of doing that. So I had to change my thinking with lithium batteries. Oh, and 3 of my 4 batteries are only 2000's so they aren't near as much juice as those Panasonics. My 4th battery is a 2500 I think and I can tell the difference with it. I am planning on getting some Panasonic batteries, a lot of people seem to rave about them. I think I am going to get an Xtar charger as well. Only have the Trustfire right now that the B&M sold us before I knew any better. I saw that they want $63.00 for the VP1 locally. I think I'll order online thanks. :)

How the ...... does the American Cancer Society justify backing legislation to prohibit e-cigs indoors everywhere when they should be ENDORSING them to get more people off cigarettes??? There aren't the carcinogens in the e-cig but even having cig in the name is what is KILLING us most likely! They immediately relate it to just another way to smoke which it isn't! Wow do the masses need to be educated and quick! Finally something that is working for people to stop smoking and everyone of them are hitting the panic button, how frustrating!!

Agreed. Ecig was a way to get people to notice and made it easier to market. But it's time to change that to... "flavor vaporizer" or something to that effect. Time to lose the "cig" altogether.

Hmmm, Don't have any blackberry, but I could add some of my yummy blueberry to it!

You have a "yummy" blueberry
I've tried about 4 kinds, each from different company's, and I'm still trying to find one I can taste.
None of them have a flavor, no matter how much I add from 5 to 20%.

It may just be "me", as it's the same with coconut, and caramel (2 flavors I love)
Maybe those are the taste buds that didn't make it, after 56 years of smoking :(

Howdy, y’all! You seem like a fairly well behaved group of folks, no hotheads, lots of wisdom, highly entertaining and just the right amount of BS. Think I’ll pull up a rocker and join you if that’s alright. Been reading through quite a few posts and thought I’d introduce myself. It’s around midnight…hope it’s okay to hang out on the porch in my jammies!

I smoked for 35+ years….paused a bit here and there, but just couldn’t shake it. Tried the “blu” e-cigs a few years ago and signed up here never thinking I’d post, thus the goofy user name (sounds like I was probably drinking when I signed up)! Really got serious about quitting a few weeks ago and broke the “blu” e-cig, so I went looking for something better. Got my starter kit online (typical rookie move), got some juice…yeah…I’m hooked! Went into a B&M place and man, were they rude! So, I’ve been learning on my own for 6 weeks (smoke free - woohoo!!!) and learned most everything from you nice folks here. Thanks for sharing all your wisdom!!!

Am waiting on 6 pieces of vapemail! With the crappy cartos I bought, I decided I’m going to start rebuilding my own coils and making my own juice. I’m kinda taking a sabbatical from the workforce and have a ton of time researching and watching videos. Bought a multimeter and an ego v3 that measures ohms, so I’ll be double checking everything before I fire it up!

Around post 200-206 , a couple of you were talking about rebuilding coils and somebody needing reading glasses (I already feel at home!). I read through to post #400 and never saw how it ended up. A light bulb went off and I wanted to share. A couple of years ago I bought something called a “third hand” that watchmakers use (or used to use). It’s a stand with a magnifying glass and a couple of alligator clips that hold the watch pieces. It’s all adjustable and I think it’ll be great for rebuilding the attys and coils! You can get one on amazon for $6. I'm an enabler!

Is it wrong that I don’t want to go to bed so I can keep vaping? I’m such a dork…I got a couple of EVODs in vapemail yesterday and really enjoyed them. Woke up this morning and tried to take a hit. Nothing. What the???? I just bought this! Don’t tell me it’s broken…it was working fine last night! Crawled out of bed to investigate. Yeah…uhhhh…it was empty...no juice. In my defense, I hadn’t had my coffee yet. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

head rebuild went like a champ too ;) with cotton ;)
On a smok aro. No dry hits so far and no gurlges.

DIY rocks. I tried this mix at the ten day point and thought it was ok, pulled it out at the 15 day point and said HEY! Half RY4 and half Clear Double Chocolate (TFA). Tossed it on my stealth today for testing at work. I think a little sweet or bavarian cream might be in order but it has a great RY4 inhale and unsweetened raw chocolate exhale as-is. Pretty freakin' cool.

Isn't it a great feeling when you learn something new, and it works like a charm :rickroll:
Virtual pats on the back for you both .. Wa Hoo

You pretty well have us "pegged".
Reading the rest of your message, it sounds like your cut from the same cloth.
Hear ya on the not having the coffee yet
Grab a seat, looking forward to your company.

Follow the money. Take a close look at how many people at the American Cancer Society used to work for or are currently benefiting from the Pharmaceuticals industry. If vaping takes off all those things made by Pharmaceutical companies take a hit. Patches, gums, medications.
