I haven't had the double-post bug here yet, but... Almost every time I post in this thread, it takes me back to the beginning of page one of the thread.

The Good: At least it doesn't kick me off the forum or take me back to General Discussion.

The Bad: I have to click "Last" and scroll to the bottom of the page.

and The Ugly: I get to look at MikeE3's avatar several times a day!

Morning all! Finally got the computer! LOL...darned kids. Cleaned up all my tanks last night and woke up to 4 full tanks and an old Dean Martin movie...Life is good!

So I really don't like the box mods. I think its a form factor thing. But now I want one anyway! April 1st will be my official quit stinkies day, and I'm really tempted. I put in a small order from fast tech, and I've got the patience for that (I'm old enough not to need the instant gratification), but the more I think about it the more I'm liking the MVP V2. But I'm not really turned on by the box mods.

HELP! LOL

The batts are 3400 mAh and the charger is in the truck, an Xsomething I can't remember. It's a car charger, not a house charger.

Edit - it's an XTAR charger for the car, charges 2 batts of like 4 sizes. I found the user manual online and I think I know what happened, I didn't do something right I believe. Will have to check it out tomorrow.

There's a little switch on the Xtar 2-bay charger. It has 3 positions, passthru, .5amp charge, and .1amp charge. Make sure it's in one of the charge positions and not passthru.

Howdy, y’all! You seem like a fairly well behaved group of folks, no hotheads, lots of wisdom, highly entertaining and just the right amount of BS. Think I’ll pull up a rocker and join you if that’s alright. Been reading through quite a few posts and thought I’d introduce myself. It’s around midnight…hope it’s okay to hang out on the porch in my jammies!

Hi sushigirl - welcome to the porch. Yikes! That's just not right - having rude folks running a B&M store. We couldn't ask for nicer more knowledgeable people at our local store. Anyway pull up a chair and let's get acquainted.

I have a hard time warming up to my MVP. I really don't like the way it feels in my hand and it's not very pocket friendly. I also get tired of having to pull center pins down on half my tanks since the pin on the MVP is recessed so low. I do like the battery life, consistent voltage and menus but unfortunately it is getting dusty on the shelf for the most part.

Godspeed on the 1st!

A couple of years ago I bought something called a “third hand” that watchmakers use (or used to use). It’s a stand with a magnifying glass and a couple of alligator clips that hold the watch pieces. It’s all adjustable and I think it’ll be great for rebuilding the attys and coils! You can get one on amazon for $6. I'm an enabler!

A belated welcome to the forums, Ms. Sushi!! Caffeine and nicotine are our drugs of choice.

Thanks for the link. I have it bookmarked, but will have to buy it quickly. LOL. Better price than the other one.

Reading your sig brought another plus about vaping to mind. Eons ago they always said that if you quit smoking you inevitably gain weight. Well that was true since the habit of having that smoke in your hand left you wanting for something in your hand. That turned out to be the only thing left. Food. With vaping, you can quit *and* lose weight! :)

Love the MVP. It is much better than the egos. Best thing is that the battery goes for days. Form factor doesn't take long to get used too. The quality of the vv/VW makes the difference. Check out the mvp2 group on ECF for more info. Don't worry about center pins it takes a few seconds to adjust if needed.

And breaking news. A politician that may not be as corrupt as most!

Gov. Dayton has doubts about moves to restrict use of e-cigarettes | Star Tribune

Good for him! A voice of reason - now lets see if he sticks to it. I liked the term "smokeless device" that was used. Takes the cig out of the equation and "smokeless" can't hurt either!

You have a "yummy" blueberry
I've tried about 4 kinds, each from different company's, and I'm still trying to find one I can taste.
None of them have a flavor, no matter how much I add from 5 to 20%.

It may just be "me", as it's the same with coconut, and caramel (2 flavors I love)
Maybe those are the taste buds that didn't make it, after 56 years of smoking :(

So sorry! Don't give up though. You never know when you might suddenly be able to taste them.

I smoked for 35+ years….paused a bit here and there, but just couldn’t shake it. Tried the “blu” e-cigs a few years ago and signed up here never thinking I’d post, thus the goofy user name (sounds like I was probably drinking when I signed up)! Really got serious about quitting a few weeks ago and broke the “blu” e-cig, so I went looking for something better. Got my starter kit online (typical rookie move), got some juice…yeah…I’m hooked! Went into a B&M place and man, were they rude! So, I’ve been learning on my own for 6 weeks (smoke free - woohoo!!!) and learned most everything from you nice folks here. Thanks for sharing all your wisdom!!!

Am waiting on 6 pieces of vapemail! With the crappy cartos I bought, I decided I’m going to start rebuilding my own coils and making my own juice. I’m kinda taking a sabbatical from the workforce and have a ton of time researching and watching videos. Bought a multimeter and an ego v3 that measures ohms, so I’ll be double checking everything before I fire it up!

Around post 200-206 , a couple of you were talking about rebuilding coils and somebody needing reading glasses (I already feel at home!). I read through to post #400 and never saw how it ended up. A light bulb went off and I wanted to share. A couple of years ago I bought something called a “third hand” that watchmakers use (or used to use). It’s a stand with a magnifying glass and a couple of alligator clips that hold the watch pieces. It’s all adjustable and I think it’ll be great for rebuilding the attys and coils! Is it wrong that I don’t want to go to bed so I can keep vaping? I’m such a dork…I got a couple of EVODs in vapemail yesterday and really enjoyed them. Woke up this morning and tried to take a hit. Nothing. What the???? I just bought this! Don’t tell me it’s broken…it was working fine last night! Crawled out of bed to investigate. Yeah…uhhhh…it was empty...no juice. In my defense, I hadn’t had my coffee yet. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Welcome to the porch! So sorry you had a bad experience at your B&M, but I'm glad you didn't let that stop you. All of the B&M's we've visited have been very friendly. Some are more helpful than others though, just depends on the personalities of the people running the place. A few just look at it as a business and the rest look at it as a way of attracting customers and helping people be successful.

No, you're not a dork, we've all made some pretty stupid mistakes. Just the other day I took my Evod off my device and tried pouring the juice in before removing the bottom of the Evod. Duh! I just cleaned up the mess and started over. And I'd already had 3 cups of coffee!! The good news is that I probably won't ever do that again.

For Janet:
When I get into refilling mode, I put the top fills in one pile, the bottom fills in the other. That way I can do it without thinking much.

For Gary:
Another part of my problem is that my BMI is 41% fat, because of a pesky neuromuscular condition. I need to get that down. Yesterday I decided to make that my first goal, by tracking it monthly. I am not so much fat as I am soft.

Good morning... ECF has been giving me fits the past couple of days so lucky just to catch up reading. I got an MVP a couple of months ago and really like it for out and about. I pretty much just use the Mini Protanks on it. I still like my EGOS for out and about as well...at home prefer the Provari or GP with KFL. I just find the MVP/EGOs easier at work, if my KFL decides to act up can't really take it apart to check out the issues at work like I can at home.

Good morning all, I just love catching up with all of you :) Well, I'm still vaping on my little Evod, waiting on the air ring thing for my pro tanks, so I can use it on my P-whatzit, waiting on my wire so I can use my kayfun, just waiting, waiting, waiting  On the positive side, I am more than one month with no cigs and feel absolutely wonderful :rickroll:
I have noticed that for me, I still have to get up every couple of hours and go outside for a vape, when I'm at work or I feel as if I'm missing something and then I want to smoke. I am a hospice consultant/nurse, so I audit charts all day to ensure we are meeting regulations. Luckily, I have the most wonderful boss, (she and I used to go out & smoke together before she quit) so I can vape at my desk, but there is something about the ritual of going outside I just haven't deleted form my memory banks yet LOL
Well, better get back to work, have a sunshiny day :)

Ohhhh! nevermind, I needed to change the atomizer on the IBTanked. I have not done that since I got it. Tried to change it without emptying the tank the way I had read somewhere and, well, let's just say I need some practice at it! But all is good to go now and flavor is back!
Onward, and Upward!!!

I'll add my "vote" to your trying a MVP2...2600mAh, pass-thru, VV, VW, ohms reader and you can charge other devices (eGo's, cell phones, etc.) from it.

I hesitated a long time because of size, weight and shape. But it's smaller than it looks in pictures, is much lighter than most mods and once you get used to holding it like a "walkie-talkie" with your thumb on the fire button it's quite comfortable!

Best price (if it says Out of Stock just order it and you'll get it in 5-7 days):

Can I use the Evod tanks with this?
