Well, I got some vape mail today, sort of, my svd was supposed to be delivered today, but it was "missent" according to tracking. Makes me wonder. I did however get the batteries I ordered for it. So I have 2 18650 batteries with nothing for them to go into. I guess its still vape mail...

Um.... yay.....me.....

OMG Thanks sooooo much!!! I never knew you flipped it and could use it upside down! LOL How easy that is! DUH I was trying to lay it on it's side to keep the juice from....well, I was doing it way wrong:blush: Thanks again Gerry!

I'll add my "vote" to your trying a MVP2...2600mAh, pass-thru, VV, VW, ohms reader and you can charge other devices (eGo's, cell phones, etc.) from it.

I hesitated a long time because of size, weight and shape. But it's smaller than it looks in pictures, is much lighter than most mods and once you get used to holding it like a "walkie-talkie" with your thumb on the fire button it's quite comfortable!

Best price (if it says Out of Stock just order it and you'll get it in 5-7 days):

I agree 100%! I love mine and always forget to charge as it lasts 4EVER! Keep it in a little pouch with a shoulder strap along with an evod with a different flavor for switching up. Got mine from Complete Vapes too. out of stock but received within a week!

Is dat a spring or mag switch? I have a lovely mech dat I don't use due to da mags being too strong. It's in da vapopocalypse cache. I'll mod it 'later' if need be.

It's a spring. It would take some abstract size magnets. I think I'll sand down the delrin ring if I can figure out how to get it out, it looks pressed in. It's really not too bad I'm just spoiled by my nemesis and M16, got those down to about a mm.

Yeah it is a kind of conundrum. But they are a real quality piece. The only thing that beats it for me is my SVD. And I figger once the batts start dying all over the place someone will come up with a hack to replace it. On the other hand, they're all over the place for $39. And since you can charge other things from it (cell phone, ego, etc) and use it while it's charging, it does get more appealing.
yeah.. Not liking the disposable battery/holder thing myself. I prefer to replace as little as possible.

Why is disposable bad? You throw away old batteries? For the cost it is a great mod and i am not going to cry if I drop it or lose it.

In a disposable society, I tend to feel... Disposable.

I have a SID and it works fine. You can buy different tubes for it but then it makes it more expensive. It has pulse type of modulation and as your battery gets depleted your vape changes (around 3.5-3.4 volts). For a tube type mod it is a pretty good deal.
I have TWO!!! Love them! My Zmax also tends to weaken as the vape goes on, until time to recharge the battery.

No there are at least two of us!! And my mail person has a P-thingy in his/her mail truck for me today.
5 days and I can open mine!! :D
As for why I don't like MVPs.

I have a basic problem with a disposable culture in general. I gravitate towards things that can be repaired and kept going for many years rather than things you use and throw away. That goes for everything be it vape related or not. Guess I am just an old fuddy duddy.
Agree totally! If I cannot reuse it, I make it into something else.

I agree !!!!
Hello everybody.
WELCOME TOOTHFAIRY!!!!
Pull up a rocker and tell your story! We love stories here!

Yup. My momma used to say we iz too poor to buy cheap stuff. One good anything outlasts 20 cheapo anythings. So by the time you figger it all out you could have bought 2 good ones at half the price of the 20 cheapo's you kept replacing.

On the other hand... no such thing as a good anything anymore. :(
...
There are good quality things out there. You have to look for them and pay a bit more, but they usually last twice as long as something that costs 25% less.

Iowa Gal - thank you, stickers may be the answer! You can get so many different things now!

Welcome, toothfairy, grab a rocker and sit a spell. Don't forget to tell us your story, we love success stories!
and even non-success stories if you want help with something!!

Went to a vape shop on the other side of town today, since I was over there anyway. Not much selection, but lots of juice. Unfortunately, about half the clearos the juice was in tasted like burnt wick or didn't fire at all. I did find 2 I liked, so bought a bottle of each.

Morning all! Finally got the computer! LOL...darned kids. Cleaned up all my tanks last night and woke up to 4 full tanks and an old Dean Martin movie...Life is good!

So I really don't like the box mods. I think its a form factor thing. But now I want one anyway! April 1st will be my official quit stinkies day, and I'm really tempted. I put in a small order from Fast Tech, and I've got the patience for that (I'm old enough not to need the instant gratification), but the more I think about it the more I'm liking the MVP V2. But I'm not really turned on by the box mods.

HELP! LOL

If you are anything like me, the minute you use an MVP2 your aversion to it's shape will evaporate faster than a vapor cloud. I now have three of them! I loaned one to my daughter's boyfriend while he waits on a slow boat from China for his vv3, and have a feeling I won't be getting it back lol.

One of the BIG advantages of the provari is that the vape does NOT weaken right before a charge. It maintains its strength throughout.
Definitely one of the reviewed things I'm looking forward to. The 31st is Monday.... I plan to open to and charge the batteries Sunday.

Very interesting - thanks! As much as I've researched them, I've never seen the different tubes. Will definitely look into it.

Got an email saying they didn't have the ego VV V3 I ordered in stock, so I took a refund and ordered the MVP w/iclear 30 for $42! I figured if I'm gonna be hanging out with you folks on the porch, I'm gonna need more pthingys with better battery power. Still looking for a replaceable battery rig. SVP is looking good.

All of my DIY ejuice supplies got sent to my PO Box instead of my home. Will pick it up tomorrow and will begin the new adventure of making my own juice!

Been watching the hummingbirds fighting over the feeder. I think those guys have been vaping some high nic juice a long time.

Sweet deal. I like the 30, nice vapor, easy to fill, good flavor. Like watching a lava lamp when you rotate it to wet the wicks.

A lot of us diy on the porch. we learn a lot from each other.

Another mech. I wish you guys would quit making me get all these.

HCigar Kylin (pisces-t clone). Surprisingly small compared to the others I have using the same batteries. This is 18500. The switch needs some serious work, look at that gap.

I really don't recall any of us telling you to purchase more beautiful shiney pvs:D Looks good and good luck on the switch

Here's a link to the search results for "SID" at madvapes. You'll see both sized tubes with and without the end cap. They also have the end caps separate but you save a bit if you get the tube and cap together.
http://www.madvapes.com/advancedsearch/result/?q=SID
You could even buy a 18500 tube, end cap and easy head and get a 1100 mah eGo type mod with replaceable battery or add the easy head to the full sized SID tube to get a large lightweight 3000 mah eGo type mod.

Lemmee say this about that. Watched Phil Busardo talk about it in a review. (More than one)

The Pthingy keeps firing at the set voltage just about up until dead. Yeah, that's a good thing. Superior chipset. On the other hand... who cares? My SVD doesn't lose any flavor before I have to switch batts.

I prolly will get one before too long but to be honest... 3 presses for this, 8 for that, 13 (yes 13) for this... I dunno. Kinda confusing to me. The SVD is kinda more complicated than the MVP and it took a while to figger it out. But the pthingy... have to carry the manual around with it for at least a month it seems! LOL

But again, not really knocking it and surely will get around to gettin one, one day. I'm a firm believer in "don't knock it til you tried it". He did say it would probably out last anything you have. Built like a tank. I'm just not in a hurry for it with all I've seen about it. Some day, but I'm not frothing at the bit waiting for one. Simply because, at this point in time, don't see a real advantage. Yet.

Thatz my opinyun n' I'm stuck wid it!
