Is 40 too young to hang out on the porch and have a vape with y'all? I promise I'll behave...well try:laugh:

Anyhoo, due to some unfortunate genetics, I found myself needing dentures a few years ago. I currently find myself coming off my first experience with the dreaded Vaper's Tongue. At least I hope I'm coming off, it's been a horrible week. I was wondering however, I know having this chunk of plastic across my palate reduces flavor. And I rarely sleep without them (yes, I'm that vain...sigh). I did last night though (hubby is away with a military thing so noone to look good for:p) and it seems I can taste better. Do these things make VT worse? or increase potential for getting it in the first place?

I also have a horrid habit of clenching my teeth all day, I'm sure that isn't helping with the epic dry mouth I have. Tips? Tricks?

I too have a very dry mouth. I find myself constantly sipping on something to help keep my mouth moist. I have COPD and take several different inhalers to keep my lungs open and clear of phlegm. They dry me out so bad that it's hard to make spit. Add vaping to that and yes I have dry mouth. I've heard that lowering the amount of PG in your juice can help with it but, I like the throat hit from PG. Guess I'll just have to keep something wet handy.

Sent with my arthritic thumbs with proofreading help from the hound!

Biotine will help with the dry mouth.

As far as the Pro-whatsit...
I got min to celebrate the milestone of finally breaking even vs smoking. In fact, after paying provape $301, I'm still in the black by $49!
But only if I don't buy anything vape related by the end of the month.
So, on Sunday, I'm going to open the package, take some pictures to post and have it with me on Monday!

Biotene never worked for me. At least not more than a few sips of water.

Good luck with the P! :) Hope you really love it!

I really think I'm done with bottom coils! I was doing my paper route (a dream I've had since I was 10  ) and my tank was gurgling. No biggie, just take soft pulls while I'm driving around. Deliver a couple of papers, get back in the car, grab my Zmax and its just covered in juice! No reason that it would leak other than it was getting low, and this is one of my favorite tanks. Not as good as my protank clone, but one I really like. I can get rebuilt Vivi Novas for $5 at the B&M, so I think I'm sticking with those for a while!

So I somehow managed to bend the base of my protank so that it shorts out, oh well, gives me a reason to buy an aerotank base for it :D

Last stinky October 15, 2013

Sure you didn't break a coil? Not sure how you could bend a bad a base and create a short. The positive is the center pin and the negative is the threads. Try a new coil. Put it on an ohm reader and see what resistance is.

I can't do top coils anymore. Dry hit city. They don't wick well for me. Try rebuilding your vivi yourself save enough $5 bills and you can purchase a good tank like a kayfun or russian.

Another mech. I wish you guys would quit making me get all these.

HCigar Kylin (pisces-t clone). Surprisingly small compared to the others I have using the same batteries. This is 18500. The switch needs some serious work, look at that gap.

It's a spring. It would take some abstract size magnets. I think I'll sand down the delrin ring if I can figure out how to get it out, it looks pressed in. It's really not too bad I'm just spoiled by my nemesis and M16, got those down to about a mm.

If it's a stiff spring - you can 'torch it' to remove some of the temper to make it a bit easier to press. I've just lightly torched each coil of the spring 'till it just starts to glow, then move the torch to along the spring. But be careful if you do this, there's no reversing it if you weaken it too much.

Harden a coil: Heat the coil to very hot. Like glowing. Then quench in clean water. That hardens it. Too much and it will become brittle and you will need to temper it again.

Look what I found: The Omnitester at MadVapes.

It's supposed to check resistance, check voltage (including on eGo batteries), and check voltage drop. Plus, it's rechargeable. Sounds too good to be true for only $15. I hope not. I ordered one just minutes after I found out about it!

ETA: Now the link says "out of stock". I guess I'm not the only one!

Spot on info. It's not a matter of tension with this one it's just distance. This is one of the better matches springs I have seen. If I can just shorten the throw a little it will be perfect.

Welcome! Make yourself at home. How long have you been vaping? What kind of set-up(s) are you using? Yes, we're both friendly AND nosy!

Oooh, another Dancer!

Regarding our previous conversation about the mojito joose I wasn't happy with - I added 2 drops of blueberry to the mojito already in my Aspire and now it's much better. I'm going to go ahead and add the BB to the rest of the joose. It's not my favorite flavor, but I like the taste much better. If I had some mint I bet that would have helped the mojito as well, but lacking that I bet any berry flavor would very good in mojito.

Another possible reason for the leak is that when toppers get low on juice they cannot maintain the negative pressure necessary to prevent the leaking. Maybe a small needle bottle of your juice to carry with you for those emergencies.
