Too much caffeine today. 2 Projects down and it's not even 10AM.

First, got tired of the tanks falling over in the cabinet and was not going to throw money at the problem. Found some leftover wood in the garage and drilled out a few holes. Glued them together and BAM! There is one problem down.

Next was that Kaylin switch. Found a couple of washers that fit and dropped them in. It didn't change the distance the locking ring has to spin but it did reduce the button throw to a half a millimeter, bwaaahaha. With the spring the same I can still rest it on the button without it firing. I guess that will be a compromise I can live with.

Update on da High Desert Vapes Orange Cream recommended by Janet & Mike...

In my initial evaluation, I noted a distinct rind flav using a nautilus topper. Well, since I bought two 30 ml bottles, I gave it a go in a Smoktech DCT. Not sure if da filler material muted da 'rind' note or what, but I liked it and just had to open da second bottle!

I really don't think it was a matter of steeping in that da flav 'improved' once I loaded up a carto. Nonetheless, I'm enjoying it and thanx out to J&M!

Haven't 'messed around' with her yet.

I know, I know...

I finally got my Diver 2 sorted out so it isn't leaking like a sieve. :p

It seems that with the Diver 2 and its huge slots you really DO have to use 3 mm or thicker silica. With 2.5 it leaked. With cotton it worked fine until I had to refill the tank then the orings going over the huge wicking slots SHREDDED the cotton and it leaked. SO back to silica for that puppy.

I think the only reason the Diver 2 with cotton works for Todd (the reviewer) is he has it in a billet box so he isn't pulling the diver every time he refills the tank. :p

There has been much discussion about the MVP I think it was, correct me if I am wrong. Where is the most reasonable, quick place to get one of those? My wife seems to be concerned about a back-up for herself since her Smoktech ZMAX is weird with it's button. I don't like the button on it at all! I am happy with my SID but glad I bought it instead and it was $10 cheaper! TIA!:thumb:

Congrats on the provari Ken. Looks great! I still don't have one but I'm holding out to be the last one on the porch without one.
No way I'm going to spend that kind of money except for some special occasion. Went that rout once and it took me a year and four months to recover. :D

Complete Vape has good prices, though they are in and out of stock quickly. But even ordering my second one while it was out of stock I got it in less than a week. If you check the MVP owners Group thread there are also a couple of eBay sellers recommended. I don't do eBay so I was fine with the slight delay.

The worst part is that it not so much the money. I just don't feel I got my monies worth out of what I already bought. It's a problem of squeaking when I walk. Wifey must be right I am a cheap bas...d.

I OBVIOUSLY found the wrong part of the thread when I said MVP! This was something several of the regulars were talking about here that was cheap, the type that you charge the battery in it instead of swapping out batteries and very durable. Now I am not sure what brand it was, help!

I got mine on ebay for $42, free S&H, and it came with an iClear 30. I received it in less than 48 hours, but I only live 90 miles away. Very happy with it!

I'm vaping wintergreen and I have to say I don't like it...
Worst part I have no clue what I can mix it with to ever make it any good.
I'll suggest adding it to a cigarette flavor e-liquid if you have one. I do this with 2 different liquids that turn them into a vape I regularly enjoy.

It is the MVP V2.0 that we were talking about awhile back in the thread. On sale for $40 with free shipping and a 20% off coupon which is expired now. They have a sign up for email alerts/adds on our Facebook page and get a 10% off coupon deal going. Can't remember the site, it's in the thread. They're usually listed as out of stock but they seem to resupply weekly and then ship right away so you don't really wait very long. It's a vv/vw device, limited in range compared to other $40-$50 devices but can be used in passthrough mode, that is vape while charging, comes with a decent bottom coil clearomizer and can be used as a portable charger for phones and the like.

That sound like the MVP2 but bear in mind the battery is sealed in the unit. It dies, so does the MVP. Not replaceable.
