Back home from Florida. Couldn't find any decent mods or Atty's that weren't clines to get for a souvenir
. So I went to the B&M and picked up a Tugboat rda. Number 390 has a new home. This thing looks wicked with huge air holes and a wide bore Delrin lined drip tip. Drip tip has tugboat graphic laser etched on it and also has the serial number. Can't wait to build this tomorrow.

OHHhh MAN
I was "testing one of my 2ml test recipes today, and it was kinda blaaa
It's Peach and Butter Rum
First of all .. no rum in the butter rum flavoring
The peach was there but pretty faint, and the whole thing was kinda harsh (high PG)

So ..I added 1 drop of .09% saline ..WOW
The peach popped and the harshness was gone.
Nice and smooth and peachy now
Still no rum, but I can fix that :p
This was a "tweaked" version using a different peach from the first try, and I was disappointed (again) when I tasted it
But now ... it's great, and in the "keeper" file.
Moral of the story ... the saline works wonders and is the "salt of the earth" for mixing when using fruits (or any juice) turns out "harsh"
Don't know why I haven't tried it before other than I forgot I had it
It's now a "mainstay" in my supplies.

I noticed something though with the batteries vs my Zmax
View attachment 321045

Yep. One size larger battery in the Provari is about the same size.

Shwew! You finally opened it. Though I was gonna have to come down there and do it for you.

Too much caffeine today. 2 Projects down and it's not even 10AM.

First, got tired of the tanks falling over in the cabinet and was not going to throw money at the problem. Found some leftover wood in the garage and drilled out a few holes. Glued them together and BAM! There is one problem down.

Nice going there doghair! But how to you keep your shop table so clean? Looks like you could eat off it.

Update on da High Desert Vapes Orange Cream recommended by Janet & Mike...

In my initial evaluation, I noted a distinct rind flav using a Nautilus topper. Well, since I bought two 30 ml bottles, I gave it a go in a Smoktech DCT. Not sure if da filler material muted da 'rind' note or what, but I liked it and just had to open da second bottle!

I really don't think it was a matter of steeping in that da flav 'improved' once I loaded up a carto. Nonetheless, I'm enjoying it and thanx out to J&M!

I notice quite a different in it's flavor depending what type of topper I'm using. A dripping atty it really pops to a much more muted flavor in a Davide or Aspire. I like them all but the flavor difference is noticable.

Haven't 'messed around' with her yet.

I know, I know...

I have some saline nose spray-- equate brand. Just put two drops in a clearo with blueberry I wasn't happy with. It does help. I had noticed it at the DIY forum a long time ago, and it does work. I think it has more nic than usual, and the blueberry just wasn't strong enough.

You can find .09% saline in the grocery store or drug store in first aid. It's called wound flush or something like that. The eye drop stuff has a whole bunch of other crap in it. It comes in a pressurized can, you can squirt it to another container that is easier to deal with and syringe it from there. Just make sure it doesn't have other ingredients like aloe or whatever.

EDIT: search this on amazon ...

SALINE SOLUTION .9% 250ML IRR (EA)

Doghair is right about "other ingredients"
I found it in the baby dept by the pharmacy
It's used for cleaning out babies noses
It's also used to flush eyes or clean and irrigate open wounds.
Super mild, and doesn't have a salty taste at all
Make sure it's pure (most anything for babies is pretty pure.)
NOT the saline solution nose spray for adults.
I took the drip top off a 30ml juice bottle and emptied the whole spray can right into it, snapped the drip tip back on, and that's what I use.
When you spray it in the bottle, it turn to liquid immediately.
Think about how salt added to food in the kitchen brings out the flavor, you have the same principle using it in our juices in a much milder form.(especially fruit and chocolate)
Also, when you sprinkle salt on a grapefruit, notice how it sweetens it and kills the sharp acid taste
It sure take the "bite" or harshness out of the juice too.
I dig the flavor of juices, not the strong throat hits, so I liked the way it smoothed my juice out.
I can't believe how long I have had this, and forgot to use it :(

 OK .. so now you know it works, BUT, check your bottle.
It probably (like mine) has other ingredients in it that you don't want.
Get the solution for babies, not adults before you try it again.
It won't kill you, because anything we spray in our noses, will get in your lungs.
But get you hands on the milder, purer form for 24/7 daily use.
Glad it helped.

Well, I got an expert answer on the mechanical mod with the battery backwards. My dad, retired electrician, said that yes, it would discharge the battery to a ground like a table or something, but that the current flow would not be high enough to harm the battery unless it is grounded to a very low resistance conductor. Verdict? I'm not worried, ill just avoid setting the thing on anything metal, no problem as there are no metal surfaces in my house.

Would you happen to have a link? Would love to try them!

MVP2:

$39.89 FREE shipping

If "Out of Stock" => order anyway...will get in 5-10 days

https://www.completevape.com/search?q=mvp

Thanks! Was thinking of getting an even cheaper one but decided for the small difference in price I would just order this one and it will be mainly just a back up device so with light use it should last quite some time. Oh, and it didn't say out of stock so hoping it ships quickly! Thanks for the link! :)
