OK stepping in here.
Yes, some people are sensitive. Let's avoid even the HINT of looking down on anyone. Remember, THIS is the thread where people can go and not be judged or belittled.

Iffy was not trying to be mean to anyone and is surprised (and maybe a little hurt) someone took offense.
Haze doesn't know iffy from the forums long enough to know he is a nice person and would never intentionally offend someone.
I hope Haze comes back and I hope that there is no more need of anyone making snippy posts ;)

Iffy, thanks for posting that code, I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on a new mod yet, but I did score a couple of bottles of Suicide Bunny at a great price.

Happy bunny dance...

I'm always lurking on the new members thread just in case there's someone whose question I can answer in some small way. Love helping but,as in most all forums, there are always these "elitist" who want nothing more than to find your post and cut you down hard with a rebuttal.

As to someone who is threatening to go back to analogs,it's not my responsibility. It's like suicide. I once saved the life of a woman who attempted to kill herself by swallowing fifty zenex pills. The ordeal was extreme as I never witnessed someone dying in this manner. I took her to the nearest city hospital where they pumped out black gunk from her body for hours. I lost my job due to that incident.

Once they dragged her away to a room , she grabbed my hand and stated emphatically, "you think you saved my life but I'll do it again"......

so my lesson was learned. suicide or (give me a break) going back to analogs...its THEIR PROBLEM and not mine. I have my own to deal with. This is a forum, not AA....if this was AA then lets pull out the books and read the chapter and verses, otherwise I enjoy making friends and talkin' about vape and such. The drama should be left out of the forums.

Although there are some "elitists" who can do more damage than good, I think there are more people on ECF who are very kind and helpful to new vapers. I especially like our Porch threads for that reason. I've never been made to feel stupid or felt like I was being pushed into anything. My own experience in trying to help new vapers is that sometimes they do give up and go back to cigs. Well, that's their choice. Doesn't mean they won't remember the experience and come back when they're ready which is why I'd like them to remember that not all people are jerks. I'll never push anyone to vape. They have to choose to do it and I/we won't give up on them and will do whatever we can to be supportive and encouraging. So yes, it is a bit like AA.

True, we are never responsible for the reactions of another person. We may or may not have interactions with the individual, but how they choose to react to those interactions will always be their own choice. It's called personal responsibility... I can spend my whole life blaming my problems on anyone and everyone who ever did or did not love me/ be kind to me/ look at me crookedly, etc., but bottom line it is my choice how I react to the situation - they only create the opportunity for the reaction. You did something that in this culture is considered nice, you did what you felt was the right thing to do, if the woman chooses to or not to benefit from your kindness, it is her problem and not yours. I'm sorry you lost your job due to the incident. All we as humans can ever do is what we, personally, feel is the right thing to do. And it will never please everyone, lol. Know yourself, know those who are dear to you, and know the ethics and morals of who or what you personally answer to. Do what's right by you and you'll live your life in peace with yourself. Anyway, I hope you don't go to lurking (as referred to in a later post) because I enjoy your posts.

What it comes down to, I suppose, is it is impossible to save someone (whether from ciggys or from suicide) who does not want to be saved, nor is it the responsibility of anyone who has not agreed to consciously take on that responsibility for that person.

And on a lighter note, lol... I liked the container set-up you got. I'm still racking my brains for ways to organize my ever growing mess of vape supplies, lol!!

Haze detected some AA cultural influence in something I posted. I admitted to it. This is the way I am.

If I had not gotten the help that I needed at the time I needed it, in AA, I would have committed suicide during my next drunk. That is a fact of my life, and no-one's opinion will change that.

Driving home I was stuck in traffic a little longer than usual, and was getting annoyed and chain vaping and I noticed my heart started beating faster than is usual for me, so I stopped at the Vape store and got a couple of bottles of 6 nic ( I usually use 11 or 12 nic) and will start carrying a little 1 mil Nano of 6-nic e juice in my purse to use if I think I am getting too much nic. Anyone else had this happen and carry a lower nic just in case?

I'm holding out for another mod until Innokin unveils the Lily, a new mod for women. Supposed to debut on Valentine's Day. They're keeping it very hush hush, can't even Google a pic of it yet. The folks at Misthub said they saw a prototype of it at a Vegas meet, they said it's a nice looking device.

I didn't know they made batteries specifically for men or women... I wonder what it will look like? Now I'm curious, lol!!!

Thinking more on vape-organizzing..... I was googling hole drill-bits and for about 30 bucks I can get a set of several and drill a hole for a bottle of juice and a hole for the tank/carto next to it that has that flavour in it. But I think that will get too nutso as the size of bottles and tanks will vary. I think the best way to go will be multiple sized holes and those liquid-chalk pens that will erase from any non-porous surface. They'll be easier to use than regular chalk which is very thick....

Yes, some days, or even for a few hours, I feel the need to chain vape. I have my juices mixed anywhere from 6 to 15 mg. That way it's easy to step down or up as the need arises. Ain't vaping grand that way?

I'm so glad the help was there when you needed it and that you chose to accept it. Elstwise you wouldn't be here and I love having you here.

I'm not up on all the different gear out there, but so far I don't think there has been a lot of gender-targeted mods. As fast as vaping related "stuff" is moving/progressing these days tho, I wouldn't be surprised to see more of that kind of thing soon enough... hope so, my wife just started vaping... I'd like for her to see the Lily when it debuts, if she wants one I'll be happy to get it for her.

Thanks for the heads-up Kim B.

Besides the Innokin MVP in the Petals design I haven't seen a from the factory mod that I would consider feminine. You can get basic ego batts in feminine designs, the G series are covered in different colors of crystals, they're pretty, but again, just your basic batt. I don't know how comfortable they'd be in the hand, seems like all those crystals might be kinda rough feeling, ya know? Anyone here have one?

I'm hoping that the Lily will be a vv/vw style mod.

I fully admit is suffer from some "personality disorder" sorts of things. I have a pretty extreme form of social anxiety disorder. Just going out to the grocery or to drive the hubby to and from work can be a terrifying experience for me. I for one a grateful for this board. Here I can talk to people and work through the fear without the extreme panic attacks I live with in real life.

If that offends anyone. I will bow out of the thread. I certainly never intended to offend.

So I return here after being away for a few days... Power reading pages to catch up on the thread.
The posts about dripping caught my fancy and I thought "yup I should pull out my RDA and drip while reading"

...<start gloomy organ music>

The threads on my Nimbus clone RDA stripped !

Put a tank on the mod and continued the vaping but with a touch of sadness.
Off to the B&M in the morning for replacement hardware.

Thanks for a place to whine

I'll change the music to an angelic choir upon my return - unless someone beats me to it.
