Thanks, that's helpful, but let me ask the question differently. Why would I ever want to make a low-Ohm build if I had a variable Wattage device? I get no advantage from doing so. You only need a low-Ohm build if you're using a fixed voltage, like a mech mod, where the only control you have over power is to adjust the resistance. I'd always just build, say, 1.5 Ohms with the Vamo and call it a day. What I'm asking is whether that's correct, or whether there's still an advantage to making, for example, a .5 Ohm build even with the Vamo.
Why? Why? Uh, can't help, as I don't

Most regulated mods do have a low Ω cut-off. Building below that, it just won't fire. I tend to build all mine around the 1.8 - 2.2 Ω range, depending on whether it's a kayfun or a clearo. (Actually, the higher end gives more room to adjust down for those "delicate" flavors that burn easily...) While the new Vamo may go to sub-ohm, the rest don't, so no point to building one that low, imo.
And if you're chasing clouds, you're probably not using a regulated mod, anyway.
Thanks all, really, sometimes it does take a village. The only negative is there is a bit of a gap between the tank and the Prothingie even with the ring on it. I am not going to lose sleep over that though. I used this video
Congratulations, that's super!
