hehe, spending money on vaping gear and juice is some of the best money I've ever spent. For the last few months I seem to be in a perpetual state of waiting for vapemail, because invariably right before one package gets to me I'm ordering something else. Really looking hard at that Clouper T5 mod.... hmmm....

I have to agree with this and I still say its an investment in an uncertain future. We have a regulation nation now.

I have to say I was totally possessed with learning to build a coil and the hardest thing was waiting for the stuff. Reading more and more and waiting for the stuff. But once I was actually able to get one done, I feel much more relaxed and relieved that I can do it. I really enjoyed the evening, it just vapes great. However, that gap between the bottom of the KayFun and the ProV is starting to annoy me. :( I will have to fix that. Maybe a bit of fat 2sided tape under the ring. This is a clone so I'm pretty sure the pin is not adjustable. I think I read the Russian is the one with the adjustable pin. ah, more reading, maybe more spending, but this clone seems to be good and while the channels were a bit rough at the turn they seem to be deep enough. I am going to try filling from the bottom today. No experience with any other clone but I don't think this is a bad one (ELPro $39.99) supposed to be the V2. I could get 2 of these for the price of one original (100 bucks), but is the quality going to be consistent. 64k question

But gotta say it's an enjoyable eye opener :vapor:

Not what I heard. ;)

Then you really ought to "travel" with three, all full, on your three favorite mods. And if you don't have 3, we'll be happy to spend your money

Heck, I don't go out to cut the grass without two (or more, for flavor changes)...
Yeah, with THREE Vamos, I can switch flavors quickly without stressing the threads. However, I would rather use my pretty one all the time, until it genuinely does conk out. I am NOT going to buy j-wraps for the other two.

This is what you need for those long drives, and it will give your cigarette lighter something to do,

Variable voltage 510/eGo USB passthrough

The 1970 hippie in me rebels at being tethered. I like the CONCEPT of a passthrough but will take drastic measures to avoid vaping with a device connected to a cord.
I agree with BB. However, a passthrough and a pair of egos would be an inexpensive set of pv's to satisfy for a long time. I had a passthrough, but sold it.

I agree, learning to build is a small step to keeping the vaping option open. Not a lot can go wrong with a chunk of SS, resistance wire can't be banned, and neither can cotton and rayon. While many of us do rebuild single bottom coils, it's conceivable that the grommets that are eventually needing replacement could become contraband...

And that's why, in addition to my stable of regulated mods I also have a couple simple mechs. Again, not much to go wrong. While I do use them with a Kick, if the Kick dies (ime ALL electronics will die, eventually) the mech is still fine.

If that's actually EHPro, then based on my experience, it's a good one :) If it has two air intake holes, yes, it's what they're calling the V2. I have two of that model, one of the EH "v1", a Svoemesto labeled one that's probably a clone, and one from Tobeco. The Tobeco is the only one that gives me problems. Wants to leak for a while after re-filling. If it's been taken apart and cleaned, it never leaks on a first fill.... go figure... The other 4 all work fine, no problems with any of them.

I use one of these on my Vamo:
Tank Air Flow Controller for 510 by SMOKtech [gv-SMOKtechTANKAirFlowController] - $3.45 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Not for the air flow control, which isn't needed, but to protect the threads. And the top portion comes off to provide ego threading. :)

Those look pretty nice. I have the ego to 510/ego adapters, but I don't like the gap with tanks, and they come off so easily-- with a larger diameter you can use your fingers to hold the air flow control in place as you take the tank off. I have them bookmarked. Thanks, again-- and again--- and again.

Yes, it is an EHPro KayFun Lite Plus V2 currently 39.99 at 101. It's working well and it seems to me (what do I know), I just refilled it from the bottom for the first time. Still working :D an no leaks. I may order another while they are on sale.

I have a belt holster for mods, and something along the lines of a 1300 Spinner on a lanyard :)

But a bandolier sounds like a great idea!!

Ok, I really can't do photoshop but what I picture is like Clint Eastwood with the two bandoliers across the chest with the holsters on the side, and instead of guns he's holding up a couple of mods with a big cloud over his head.....

Yes, the R91 has an adjustable connection . Kayfun also makes there own ProVari ring that's a little taller and tapered to give an almost seamless fit.
R91 with ProVari ring. KFL with kayfun ring.

Hi Tracy,

You're right, the Kayfun Lite clones don't have adjustable center pins. The center pin screws into the connector block where the coil screws in and holds it in place against the insulator. The other side of the pin is held in place by an insulator that's jammed into the the center holed which is drilled into the build deck. So, all you can really do is unscrew the center pin and remove it, or screw it back in until the connector block is tight.

The Russian has a center pin which is in two parts, the center pin shaft that screws into the connector block and held in place by the insulator at the bottom of the build deck, and a short screw that screws into the center pin which connects to the battery port. So, you can adjust the short screw in or out without affecting the center pin shaft. That's actually a nice improvement, IMO, and I might pick up a Russian center pin as a replacement for the center pin in my KFL+V2.

That would be great! My son is a graphic designer, I'll ask him about that. He works with photoshop and the likes daily, he's a great designer. He's done some of the coolest things I have ever seen. That is a great idea, I love it.

Holy macaroni! Thank you a million for posting that. OMG, how bizarre, I think I’m related to that guy. I’ve got a “sensitivity” to some flavors, fatal allergy to tree nuts, etc. No itching in the cramping area. It’s a severe cramp when exercising. We had to do a 16 mile run one summer and I didn’t cramp like that. I do drink a lot of water and don’t drink soda, coffee, tea or anything. Tried to up my potassium this summer though it doesn’t seem to impress the calf at all. I mix at 80/20. Guess the good news is I’ve tried everything within reason to fix the problem, sometimes without knowing I was doing it. The scan was done last month, the appoint is basically to confirm the bad news and how to proceed.

I can relate to that. Any exertion above a moderate walk and it cramps. I’m sorry you had to go through that. I’ll hope for a simple stent placement. When they did the varicose veins, I wound up with something like seven large scars on my leg and weeks of pain. Stent, even though a highly specialized surgery for where it was, was in in the morning and out that night. Where’s Star Trek’s Bones when you need him?

I have often ask that question. Wouldn't it be great. Scan, scan. "Here take this pill." "I regrew my half a lung! I regrew my half a lung!" Too bad it's only a dream. Maybe someday. They are already working on tricorder like devices. Some that work with a smartphone and a database in the cloud.
You my main thing is I'm 56, I shouldn't feel this bad.

That's nice. PBusardo reviewed something by itaste that plugged into the lighter and had all kinds of settings that looked pretty good too.
