I have often ask that question. Wouldn't it be great. Scan, scan. "Here take this pill." "I regrew my half a lung! I regrew my half a lung!" Too bad it's only a dream. Maybe someday. They are already working on tricorder like devices. Some that work with a smartphone and a database in the cloud.
You my main thing is I'm 56, I shouldn't feel this bad.

Thankfully they have made improvements. Had I needed that stent several years ago, it would have meant cracking my chest open and putting in a bypass. As it was they were very excited, literally strutting around the office, that they were able to place the stent since the artery was 90% blocked. I got very, very lucky they didn't have to crack me open.

It took them 7 months to diagnose the problem and about 40 seconds to blame on solely on smoking. I don't completely buy it since that shoulder is a wreck with nerve damage and previous surgery. Same goes with my left leg but that will probably be completely blamed on smoking too. Don't mind taking responsibility for smoking but how can it be "100% because you smoked"?

Two years ahead of you and have always be very active.Once the leg is fixed my goal is to do a 5k next summer. Don't need to win, don't even need to run the whole way, just want to finish on foot at a decent pace. Our whacko dog is a great training partner and would love to get off the property more often. Me too actually. :D

I had purchased some of the rechargeable cigalikes but was unhappy with the vapor production. I still use them sometimes when I am in my car. You are right, I need to get another battery. I have everything else I need I think.

Don't know if you got another battery yet (I'm about 15 pages "behind")...but you can not go wrong spending $25.99 for an Innokin iTaste VV V3.

Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

These people love them...(any questions just jump in on the last page and ask)...

I heard but haven't tried it, that there not interchangeable. If I get one of each empty at the same time, I'll check it out for ya!
That would be great! Thanks!

If it doesn't work, it's probably because the center pin on the Russian is longer than the center pin on the KFL+V2.

Well, I modded my KFL+V2 and am pretty happy with the results. I deepened the juice channels ever more, drilled out the side air hole, and cleaned up the vertical air hole in the center pin to a smooth 1/16th" (it was already 1/16th, but was snug and now it's maybe a few thousandths bigger). I'm getting noticeably better air and juice flow now, and I can take nice comfortable lung hits without running out of juice (using a dual coil build with rayon wicking at 1.5 Ohm). I don't have to always worry about "will the next hit be a dry hit," and I don't have to struggle against the overly tight draw. I've been tinkering with it since I got it, and now I'm finally satisfied! Best of all, when I draw on it, I get a nice "whoosh" instead of a whistle.

Can’t live without them! :D Our old dog had had dignity and sensibility, our current one has neither. A 90 pound dog that spins like a Chihuahua on caffeine is dangerous for the knees.

I tried vaping with a cigalike when the old one was around. Neither of us was impressed. I started, and quit smoking, vaping with an ego after we got our new dog. We were both very impressed.

Idiot stole a paper towel that had some 24mg coffee juice on it off my desk and shredded it. Thought I’d poisoned him. Nothing happened, thank the stars, but lesson learned. He’s coo coo for coffee vape, doesn't care for key lime and likes blackberry. Plain is so so with him. Need to find a vape with a tranquilizing affect on dogs. Hard to watch TV when the lug has his big fat nose glued to the bottom of your vape.

You seem to be all about over kill. 2mm 7 wrap 28g single coil is all I need to get what I want out of a KFL+

I actually have a 20 pound min pin that thinks she is a ninety pound dobbey. And noisy. I think I'm ready to debark her! Not really but she is protective as hell. When I was going through the cancer stuff she never got more than 5 feet away from me. Now she pretty much gets what she wants. Whenever my COPD or Osteoarthritis is raging she moves right in again. I love her to death. Kinda goofy where the hound is concerned.

I tried that (actually, twisted 30ga which netted out at around 27ga) but my juice tasted scorched. I think it was because I wasn't getting enough air flow over the coil. I was also getting occasional dry hits because I wasn't getting enough juice flow, and was always having to give priming puffs to keep the wick saturated. That was just entirely too much work for me. So, it might be overkill, but I seem to have fixed both problems with my current build. Maybe it was the clone I got, or maybe it was just how I like to vape (I like to take big lung hits).

Also, I vape pretty close to 100% VG (just some water/alcohol/PG in my flavorings). And, I'm using the nano build of the KFL+V2, which doesn't wick as well (smaller air bubble).

Edit: Also, it's not really yours unless you've made it better :)

I didn't know about the cancer. I'm so sorry. Dim Wit barks a lot. The problem with that is he screams like a girl when he does it. He also rolls his whines sometimes which has us in stitches, not helpful when you're trying to teach him not to whine. He can be nice when you're hurt or sick, if he really tries. And he is protective, too much so sometimes. Then again he's out in the yard everyday with four fawns this year. He's a keeper but still a PITA. Dogs don't go too much for self pity and tend to make you get out of the house and on the road to recovery faster. Counting on that if something drastic needs to be done about the leg.

No problem on the cancer. Had lung cancer 2 1/2 years ago. They took the bottom half of my right lung. No chemo or radiation needed. Very early detection. I was extremely lucky. I had pneumonia and they saw the tumor on the xray. Dectected on April 8th 2012 and surgery on May 9th 2012. Quick like a bunny. The big problem is I already had COPD and losing 1/2 a lung hasn't helped. Breathing can be a class a b..ch sometimes but, vaping has helped a bunch. Cancer and smoke free for 2 3/4 years now.

While not waterproof everything I vapes appears to be at least slightly water tolerant. Haven't dropped anything in a puddle yet but, have vaped in the rain many times.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Android phone on a keyboard that waaayyy too small (or my thumbs are waaayyy too big).

We went kayaking on Thursday on a lovely lake. When we docked I stood up to get out of the kayak and dropped my Sigieli with an Aspire topper. Of course it rolled under the seat where there was a good sized puddle. Should have seen me scrambling to get that seat moved to reach it. I guess it was in the puddle for maybe 15-20 seconds. Thought I killed it, but it just turned itself off, or I turned it off in my panic. Whew! It's working fine. I've given it an award for snorkeling.

OK, guys I got something done.....The freehand wrap wasn't doing it for me, so I took the 28ga and wrapped it around one of those little silver screw drivers, 9 wraps, heated it up on the Provari tightened it up on the cool down and it's reading 1.89 ohms. I gotta get a picture, not the prettiest, but the first. If the cotton stuff comes tomorrow I will try to wick it or go to CVS and see if they have the organic cotton balls. My brain is fried, gotta go to bed  Thanks for all the help, I will go back and read it again tomorrow when I can digest it a bit better. Night all

Congratulations! You're doing great!!

I looked at my replacement atomizer box today for the Aspire, it does say BVC. I do prefer this one to other, it just seems to draw better and I don't get the sputtering on this one. The glass is heavier and I like the threaded glass. I had already decided on purchasing another one of these when I go for another battery this week. You guys got me thinking I better get a spare before the dead of winter sets in. Granny doesn't like traveling in deep snow and cold:ohmy:

I think a lot of us have found out the hard way to always, always have backups. Even backups for backups. I've had problems with 2 and was so grateful for my 3rd backup.

Thank you for the tip on the Apricot E-liquid. I will try some, I looked at their site today. I am new and recently (day 23 :)) quit smoking. I am having a hard time finding a flavor I like. Tried 6 today but none of them were that good. Guess it takes a while and a lot of testing to find some you can vape all day.
Should have posted this in a different way, sorry, new to forums.

After you've been vaping for a bit your taste buds may change and flavors you didn't like before could become enjoyable so don't hesitate to try flavors over again, especially if they're from another vendor. It's great if you can visit a B&M with a vape bar so you can try several different ones. It's helpful to have a couple flavors that you can rotate because it keeps your buds awake or it'll help keep you from getting sick of just one. Part of the vaping fun is having so many flavors to choose from.

Some of my collected vape gear over the last year or so.

I started with a cig2o in February of last year. Didn't cut it, went back to analogs.
April I tried it again. Still not good! Let me see what's on the internet.
Found this forum and that ECBlends was just down the street. Cool, I can refill my cig2o with good juice! Let me try one of those (Pass through with a clearo).
Next trip a Ego, then a pro tank. Cool! Then more internet. That Tatro tank looks cool. Next, that would be good on a ProVari. That works good, wait, he said that mech's are better . I better find out for myself. That Stingray looks cool. Kayfun? What's that? Dual coils? Dripper's, vertical coils"........................ Patina?

And now do you see what happened?^

Sure looks like you're having fun with vaping! And that's a very nice stand you made too! I tend to stay for a long while with what works for me, but I needn't worry about trying something new because hubby is always trying the new stuff. I figure with what we're saving from both of us not smoking 3-1/2 packs of smokes a day we're still saving money and the health benefits are priceless.

Hey, my man, what ever works for you is what maters in the long run!!!!!
My build works great for me and you might like it if you were next door and could try it but...............
Do your own thing and have a good time with it.
I did some Patina's on a couple clones and one original. Not a lot of people into that either.
Have fun, enjoy and vape on my brother:vapor:

Oh man, you were lucky! My father had half a lung removed something like 55 years ago. He's 90 now and still chugging along quite nicely. He has hereditary heart problems.Stroke, heart attack, triple bypass and pace maker. If ever there was a walking billboard for taking care of yourself and listening to your doctor (IF you have a good one), he's it.

2 3/4 years, Yeehaw! They can't do anything to help your breathing?
