My first BVC in my 5.0ml Nautilus lasted through approximately 55ml of juice. I could have changed it out a little sooner, like maybe after 45ml of juice, when the flavor of the juice started to be a little less. The coil didn't burn out, but it became harder to draw on, and as I said, the juice flavor started to fade.
I'm pretty lazy (never rolled my own [tobacco] cigarettes...and have little interest in "rebuilding").
But I've found that with my BVC's if I throw one in a cup of boiling water and let it sit (until I remember it) (when the water's cooled down) I'll see 5-10 specks/dots of black "stuff" floating around in the water.
Then I'll remove it from the water...run it under a stream of hot water for a minute or two...blow it dry (with my breath)...and replace it.
This seems to "revive" it's airy draw and the flavor returns.
(Can't hurt to try it.)

and any other ideas would also be appreciated.
