Went in 75 and retired in 95. Mostly all small boys. USS Dupont (DD-941) and USS Dalgren (DDG-43), instructor tour at Dam Neck and then FLTDECGRULANT (Deception Group Atlantic, sshhhh! It's secret :) ) then closed out as Space and Electronic Warfare Commander for PHIBRON TWO. I was a OSCS (E-8) when I hung it up.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Android phone on a keyboard that waaayyy too small (or my thumbs are waaayyy too big).

We shared some of the same territory. Big boys for me. I started on the east coast, went west, and then came back. USS Iowa (BB61), ACU-5 (West coast), USS Tripoli (LPH-10), USS Constellation (CV-64), NAMTRAGRUDET JAX, USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7), and retired as an AS1 from NAS Oceana.

Me too! The only thing I don't know how to prep for is juice. I figure there going to pull the plug on nic juice before to long.
How long will juice keep? Can you freeze it or something to give it a longer shelf life?
I usually order 100 mil of deadly sin from Good Life Vaper, my all day vape, once a month. And what ever I decide to vape on the side. It would be nice to have a better stash!
Joose will not freeze, but you can put it in the freezer and it will be good for several years, at least.

So, how good is the Nautilus?

Ya owe it to yourself to buy one Nautilus with the BVC coil. Since you're not into rebuilding, I can't think of a better performing joose device.

Hey, look at it this way... we semi-converted BB! Hopefully he'll chime in shortly...

So, how good is the Nautilus? For my upcoming vapeversary I was going to get just a nail polish rack for the juices that are getting pretty croded on my original organizer -- trying to find one that will fit on the side of my end table and maybe another Nature series VV v3 and maybe a couple more mini protank 2s -- and I am really happy with my Davides and Mini Protanks, but everyone sounds so enthusiastic about the bvc coils.

I'm never going to make my own coils, so I'm not looking for a Kayfun or anything. And as I said, I'm pretty happy with my bccs, but everyone is being so enthusiastic about the Nautilus. Now if I do end up with one trying to jump into my shopping cart, how easy or difficult is filling them? I've never gotten a mini Davide because of the filling difficulty.

So, I'm actually planning ahead and asking for help spending my money :danger: and any other ideas would also be appreciated.

I didn't chime in previously because I didn't know whether Amoret was considering the Nautilus Mini (with which I have no experience) or the 5.0ml Nautilus, which is, with the BVC, at least as good as as anything else I've ever tried.

Although the full-sized Nautilus must be filled from the bottom, it's easy to do, and you can actually put MORE than 5ml of joose in it. In my experience, you should give it an extra twist to make sure that it's fully sealed. The only time I've had any leaking at all is when I thought I had the base screwed on tight enough, but didn't.

Someone recently posted a link to a review house that had a link to the full-size Nautilus for $20 or $21. I can't find the link, but that's an excellent price if you can find it. I think the link may have been for the 180-watt God Mod, but the site also had a link to the full-size Nautilus.

I learned to DIY and am fast approaching a lifetime supply if nic in my freezer.

Me too. But, I still keep getting tempted to buy more! I decided to wait for my shipment of glass bottles first though. My brother has agreed to let me use his freezer to stash my nic.

The next most important thing is cartomizers, especially for carto-tanks. I love my carto-tanks! I guess I'm going to have to break down and spend the money on a Sophia. And, if I can manage to build the coil well enough, then buy another one or two (or three) next Spring.

Sure, I'll still stock a little here and there and buy a shiny for fun. But, with nic and cartos taken care of, plus a growing collection of RBAs, I think I can relax.

I guess I have a plan!

After looking at pictures it probably would be the full sized one. For filling I just need to have something I can use a dropper bottle on, since syringes get difficult. In some ways I prefer minis - that's why I still have and use my mini protanks and evods. The light weight is nice, and now that I am making my own liquids I find that I have even more use for lots of small clearos. But I still like something full sized for my main flavors. At this point I'm still in the waffling stage.

I did want to clarify something, though. I see that the full sized Nautilus comes with the dual coils. I need to be sure that the BVC ones work well in it.

Good to know! Will have to try that so I can keep some on hand. youknow, just in case of..................................

My understanding is that freezing premade juice doesn't last as long as just the nic, which lasts for years. Perhaps it premade in the fridge. Whatever. You are knowledgeable (except when the Sloth mumbles) and neck deep into vaping, your next step should be into DIY. Even if you don't want to go that route do yourself a favor and lay in a reasonable supply of nic in your freezer. You'll be able to get the PG, VG and flavorings but the nic is what is predicted to go.

Good place to get quality nic?

I've read comments from maybe 30 people who have used the BVC coils with the Nautilus or with the Nautilus Mini. All comments have been very positive. No one has spoken of any problem.

You can't freeze pre-made juice, but you can store it in the freezer. Flavoring is the only ingredient in pre-made juice that is not also in unflavored nicotine juice. Except for a member here who lost a bottle of juice in his car for a long hot summer before finding it, I've never heard anyone speak of any kind of juice going bad regardless of how long they'd had it.

Correction: someone in this group has recently said that they opened up a bottle of nic juice and found it to have a bad smell. I can't remember the circumstances but it would be remiss of me not to mention the experience that person had with their nic juice.

Unfortunately that's why we're going to need to all be DIY juice makers eventually. I don't think they really are going to be able to do away with hardware but, I think juice is going to be another story. Nic keeps really well in the freezer and flavor is used for other foods so DIY it is.

I don't have a lifetime supply. Just enough for 25 years.
I have some catching up to do.

I have an order of nic coming. As things stand for me, if the worst happens, I will have to buy grey market or go back to no nic. Maybe at this point I ought to make a list of the serious preppers.
This thread would be a good place to start. Maybe you could take a trip to visit Uncle Willy. I think he may have a little extra. ;)

Cool. Thanks!
I better get an order in. It will be like ammo before long with everyone stocking up!
I had been expecting that to start happening already (to a small extent anyway). But, right now it's cheaper than it's ever been.

I don't know if people just aren't that concerned yet. Or, if the preppers have already prepped and aren't buying anymore, therefore creating a surplus because of the low demand. Who knows?
