I am in awe of those who are investing every waking moment fighting against the unjust intrusion of governmental and corporate stupidity into the burgeoning vaping market. How do these heroes and heroines maintain the energy to fight the never-ending battles?

Unfortunately, I become numb and somewhat deaf to the constant alarm, and can only look for the humor and irony, because the alarm has been going full tilt from the first day I knew the first thing about vaping.

I had been expecting that to start happening already (to a small extent anyway). But, right now it's cheaper than it's ever been.

I don't know if people just aren't that concerned yet. Or, if the preppers have already prepped and aren't buying anymore, therefore creating a surplus because of the low demand. Who knows?
Here's a scarier thought: the sellers are afraid they'll have to go out of business and are selling all they can while they can.

That would make sense. But, it doesn't feel true. They've been investing and expanding. That doesn't seem wise if you're expecting to go out of business soon.

I understand that Wizard is now extracting nic as the orders come through. They don't lay up massive stockpiles.
I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Wizard Labs or any of the most popular sellers extract their own nicotine. My understanding is that they buy high-concentration liquid nicotine and then cut it down to various strengths with PG and/or VG.

As of 4 months ago, the first company to produce liquid nicotine in the US from US-grown (and therefore pesticide-free) tobacco has gone into business. They sell only in commercial quantities and I am not yet aware of any seller who sources their liquid nicotine from this company. If and when a retailer starts selling nic juice made with this stuff, it will be very appealing, and you can bet your bippy that they'll be letting you know it's made in the US from tobacco grown in the US.

To the best of my knowledge, all of the current retail sellers of nicotine juice in the US are buying their nicotine juice concentrate from overseas extraction companies.

Interesting. No, fascinating. I always worried about flavors. With all the tobacco farms and manufacurers in the states I never even dreamed that nic would come from overseas.

That doesn't mean the tobacco doesn't come for the US. Heck, they grow chickens here and ship them to China for processing then ship them back and sell them to us.

Yes, but China grows more than 4 times as much tobacco as the US.

India grows more than the US too.

China and India supply most of the nicotine juice that we buy from US retailers.

Didn't know that but it makes sense! Thanks for the info! I figured it was coming from China as a finish product. Seems like everything does these days!

So, how good is the Nautilus?

So, I'm actually planning ahead and asking for help spending my money.

Me...I'm probably closer to using analogs than a lot of yunz. So I was looking for getting the amount of vapor that was comparable to the amount of smoke I used to get from my old Marlboro's.

I know RBA's (especially with a mech MOD) can give you huge clouds. But...I'm way too lazy for either of those.

Then I saw the reviews of GrimmGreen and IndoorSmokers where both said the Nautilus (with BVC's) had replaced their Kayfuns for daily use.

So...got one...then another.... (I get so much vapor with them that I literally have to turn down the Watts to 6-7 just to keep the amount of vapor to "socially acceptable" levels when I'm out in public.)

After looking at pictures it probably would be the full sized one. In some ways I prefer minis. At this point I'm still in the waffling stage.

I agree with all the reviews that the BVC's work "best" at higher Watts/Volts. But running at 11 Watts on my MVP2's and 15 Watts on my Vamo's I do go through joose more quickly (NOT complaining--it's worth it). BUT...it begins to feel like I'm having to fill the Mini continually.

"Best" prices (that I'm aware of):

Aspire Nautilus Mini Vertical Coil Tank...with 2 BVC's...$22.95 with FREE shipping:

New Aspire Nautilus Mini BVC Vertical Coil Tank Clearomizer Genuine Product | eBay

original 5ml. Nautilus...2 choices...

Aspire Nautilus Bottom Dual Coil Clearomizer...with 2 BDC coils (which you can try or just toss)...$16.94 with FREE shipping:

Aspire Nautilus Bottom Dual Coil Clearomizer Adjustable Airflow Tank Vaporizer Atomizer - Rakuten.com Shopping

Plus you'll want Aspire Nautilus BVC Coils (Pack of 5)...$9.95 + $3.00 shipping:

OR...

Aspire Nautilus BVC Tank...with 4 BVC coils...$25.00 + $4.83 shipping:

$25-Aspire Nautilus BVC Tank, Buy 1 Aspire Nautilus BVC, Get 2 Extra Coils for Free - $25.00

Maybe it was more expensive because it was new and they were trying to make a buck while it lasted. Now that it's getting bigger than ever there going for selling more at a smaller margin and of corse, more competition in the market.

Good place to get quality nic?

I've bought from just about everyone, but this VT nic is the cleanest nicotine I have found.
You can taste the difference in your juice.
He also has it with a little more "peppery" taste if you like a good throat hit..
I'm using up my "other" nic solutions in the tobacco's and heavier flavored juice, like gingerbread, where I don't notice the difference so much, but for more delicate flavors, like the fruits, WOW what a difference it makes.
Vapers Tek
It cost a little more, but it's worth it for certain flavors.
I'm just to cheap to throw out my "other" nic...once it's used up, I'll use nothing but VT

I think it's more like ...they were given 2 years a while back before the rulings came out of FDA (supposedly), so they aren't sweating it yet, and are here to meet the demands of those of us that are

You can't freeze pre-made juice, but you can store it in the freezer. Flavoring is the only ingredient in pre-made juice that is not also in unflavored nicotine juice. Except for a member here who lost a bottle of juice in his car for a long hot summer before finding it, I've never heard anyone speak of any kind of juice going bad regardless of how long they'd had it.

Correction: someone in this group has recently said that they opened up a bottle of nic juice and found it to have a bad smell. I can't remember the circumstances but it would be remiss of me not to mention the experience that person had with their nic juice.

It's been 10-12 months since I poured over the epic long threads in the DIY section. They were saying NOT to store your flavors in the fridge. So I took my first, overly ambitious, flavor order back out of the fridge. Keep them in a cool dark place they said. Fire broke out and we were under an evacuation advisory for 10 days or so. The box of flavors got chucked into the car because, well, I'm not sure why. They baked in a compartment for several weeks at temps over 120 degrees.

That was a year ago. I just opened them and they pretty much smell like they did when I got them, I think, perhaps stronger. Dog was very interested in the bacon but he also ate a pile of rocks as a puppy that cost a thousand bucks to surgically remove. None of them are clear anymore, lol. Unsure if they’d vape as they smell. Ordered a new boysenberry to compare with the old.

“They” have also warned about freezing the premade stuff because the flavor might go bad. No, PG, VG and alcohol don’t freeze, I mean sticking it in the freezer. If you want to freeze your favorite juice you may want to do some sort of test run. If it alters the flavor better to have is happen to 15ml instead of 150ml.

I was looking for something about the nic and ran across this. It’s interesting in terms of what has been discussed here. As e-cigarette sales grow, so will nicotine extract market - Richmond Times-Dispatch: Economic News
