It's Apricot Ambition from Nicoticket. I have just started using their juices and have liked all purchased. I will try to get a picture of my nautilus tank/Hana sometime this weekend...I'm not the best with pictures. Work this morning and have the grandson for the weekend so it will go by quickly.

Thanks for the tip on the Apricot from Nicoticket. I received my juice today, had to sneak a vape right out of the mailbox. My Bad!
I am so tired of straight VG I just had to. I like it, it's very CLEAN, no odd aftertaste or nasty perfume. It's very light, I like it. I also
snuck a vape of the Betelgeuse, I like this even better. Stuck them back in the closet for a while and ordered 5 more from them:)

It's been 10-12 months since I poured over the epic long threads in the DIY section. They were saying NOT to store your flavors in the fridge.

I totally agree with your post; only freeze nic and keep pre-mixes/flavs in a dark 'cool' (indoor ambient) location! Has worked for my DIY self fer over three years.

I've bought from just about everyone, but this VT nic is the cleanest nicotine I have found.
You can taste the difference in your juice.
He also has it with a little more "peppery" taste if you like a good throat hit..
I'm using up my "other" nic solutions in the tobacco's and heavier flavored juice, like gingerbread, where I don't notice the difference so much, but for more delicate flavors, like the fruits, WOW what a difference it makes.
Vapers Tek
It cost a little more, but it's worth it for certain flavors.
I'm just to cheap to throw out my "other" nic...once it's used up, I'll use nothing but VT

Thanks Slots! Just place an order with VT for nic, Vg and Pg. now I got to figure what kind of flavors to try and maybe a mixology starter kit.

I wonder what the difference is in the nicotine juice with the more peppery taste. Liquid nic that he gets from a different source than he uses to mix the juice with the less peppery taste? Just curious.

So glad you like it. I am not much of a steeper.....in general I find if I really don't like something fresh it won't grown on me. They have become one of my top juice vendors. I'm patiently waiting for my Fasttech order (it's moving, just not as fast as I'd like) I'm anxious to try the flat top cap on my KFL's.

... and maybe a mixology starter kit.

My minimal DIY requirements (YMMV):

nic
VG
PG
flavors
e-Juice Me Up calculator
20ml syringe
5ml syringes
1ml syringes
30ml bottles
5 - 10ml bottles (for test samples)
120ml bottle (for bulk nic/PG/VG base)
100ml graduated glass cylinder (for bulk base mixing)

Of course I have more DIY equipment
doh.gif
, but the list is what I actually use 98% of the time.

I mix 100ml of base (nic/PG/VG) and put that into a 120ml bottle that has a flip-top/turret cap. I use 5-10ml bottles for test recipes. Most of my mixes are 30ml, sometimes 60ml. Note that I do not use needles, pipettes or funnels; no need fer 'em.

Ya don't have to spend a fortune buying kit$ that have item$ ya probably won't u$e!

No needles for me. I’m not afraid of them, I just think they’re too fussy. Here’s my syringe procedure:
- remove da syringe needle and toss
- remove plunger
- place lil' finger under da syringe tip
- using a VG/PG/nic bottle with a plastic tapered or turret top
- squeeze da desired amount into da top of syringe
- place da syringe into/over your mixing bottle
- reinsert plunger into da top of da syringe
- remove lil' finger
- gently push plunger

May sound complicated, but it's not!

I'm hoping others will chip in with their suggestions, which is why I stated YMMV.

Ya won't believe how much monie$ you'll $ave. With frugal shopping and sales, my recipes are running under a nickle per ml. Good luck!

... pays top dollar in, and out, da end!

Dat $50 per liter of 100mg nic deal was da best price I've seen to date. Don't know if that sale still on. Hopefully that trend will continue. Just don't wait until da FDA 'solidifies' da deemings!

I really don't mind paying for quality! I Really don't want the cheapest nic I can find. I want the best I can afford but that's just me! I didn't quit smoking to save money. I quit smoking to save my life and I want to enjoy it to the best of my ability! If that means spending a little more for a cleaner nic then so be it.

Guess I'm either fortunate or I have indiscriminating taste buds, but I've tried nic from at least five diff vendors over da years and still go with da best value.

The only truly peppery nic I've tried was in a swap waaaay back when a certain vendor really screwed up.. All I've purchased thus far have been happily vapable with no issues.

But... that's just moi.

This will be my first go round. I'm sure I'll try others to see if it truly does make a difference to me. I didn't want to start by trying to cover up a funny taste or anything like that.

It's not just you. I've got nic from 4 different places and nic is nic to me, so the cheapest IS the best. Make that 5 places. I forgot my first purchase: 60ml of 100mg/ml juice on Ebay, before Ebay stopped all such sales.

PS: I'm not doubting those who notice a difference, I'm just glad that I myself don't.

Here's something to keep you busy until the first batch runs out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/298547-nicotine-comparisons.html :)

One to add to Iffy's list if you don't already have it.

:D :D :D Vodka! :D :D :D

Plenty of it. Use it to clean your syringes and other mixing stuff, then rinse with distilled water.

Vamo v5 review. Compared to the one I got 9 months ago. The top ring is just a tad bit taller, no gap between it and the tank. Airflow problem resolved by holes drilled in two of the dimples (who'd'a'thunkit?) Software revised-- a timer which does nothing of significance. Display, on each draw, shows Ω, battery remaining, and w. A picture on last page shows how to use it as a power bank, using ego charger. Main button has a little play, doubt that there is any significance to it. Biggest thing-- I had to see it to believe it-- the pin IS spring-loaded!! Nice little machine. I am going to use it as my main vape, and continue holding my two old ones as emergency PV's.

The 50 ml bottle of vodka is just right. I'll have to get a new one. I rinse my syringes with it, no distilled water needed.

Cool. Thanks!
I better get an order in. It will be like ammo before long with everyone stocking up!

I think that's why a lot of people stocked after the first FDA rumblings. Get it while it's available. In the past year a lot of people have discovered vaping so the industry is growing and vendors are going to try to anticipate growing sales until regulations are set. I too have heard of new B&Ms planning on opening in the next year. It doesn't feel to me like panic buying anymore since there' not much news about running out. At any rate, I've at least eliminated one worry for myself knowing there's a stash in my freezer.

That doesn't mean the tobacco doesn't come for the US. Heck, they grow chickens here and ship them to China for processing then ship them back and sell them to us.

Isn't that crazy? When I worked in purchasing and we did our yearly bids I had to figure in daily changes in the price of paper because we send the pulp overseas to be made into the paper that's shipped back to be sold by companies here. So I guess shipping chickens isn't so strange. Many years ago I worked for a shirt company. The shirts were made in China (I think) and shipped here, but because the labels were sewn in here they could say they were "made" in USA. HA! It's all games.

I start vaping the juice when it arrives, but mine are fruit flavors and they don't seem to need the steeping like the other flavors do. I figure between the time the vendor makes the juice and it arrives in my mailbox it's already been steeped a few weeks. So my vote would be to go ahead and vape away! Since I started DIY I start vaping my fruit juices right away. I mix my ADV 120ml at a time so it's going to be steeping for the time it takes me to go through it.

Also, be careful ordering a whole bunch of new juice based on vaping a little of it. It's happened to me several times where I've liked a juice at a B&M and bought a 30ml bottle only to decide I really don't like it after a tank or 2. I don't know if it's the old taste buds getting a shock of something new or what. Of course if that happens to you and you DIY it's possible to tweak it enough not to waste it.

I totally agree with your post; only freeze nic and keep pre-mixes/flavs in a dark 'cool' (indoor ambient) location! Has worked for my DIY self fer over three years.

Yes, I only freeze my nic. My mixed juices and flavorings are kept on the shelf in the cabinet. Someone told me once that keeping the juice in the fridge means that condensation can form on the bottle and dilute it. I have no idea if that's true, but keeping it on the shelf has worked for me for the past 3 years.

Thanks Slots! Just place an order with VT for nic, Vg and Pg. now I got to figure what kind of flavors to try and maybe a mixology starter kit.

Oh boy! Now the fun starts!!

I had problems manipulating syringes with my bad hands, so I got a scale, http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0026KXU7W/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and am convinced that weighing is much, much easier. I do use a large syringe to put my premixed base into the bottles (though I think I'm going to steal the flip top bottle idea now) then drip the flavors directly in until the weight is right. No muss, no fuss, virtually no clean up, what's not to like?

If you are a real purist you are supposed to figure out the exact weight to volume ratio for each ingredient, but I'm more interested in just being able to replicate/adjust the recipe, so I don't bother with that.
