I would go with whichever one I would be least upset about losing or wrecking ;) For me, that would be whichever one costs the least to replace.

Yup, I'm going with the ego type battery and the kayfun mini clone. I got the mini clone from angle cigs for $20 +/- and the Battery's are cheap and I hardly use them anymore. I'd take the fast tech stainless nemesis clone but then there would be locking rings to mess with. It was only about $25. I only use it to fire my builds now. And as a base for building coils.

Thanks for the input.

Another option. Since you're going to angelcigs, they have the Ivogo 17mm Kayfun and a mini Nemesis, called the baby, a Nemi, also in 17mm. Under $40 for the combo. The few mm extra of diameter increases capacity compared to the Kayfun mini. Takes 14500, which is the same physical size as a AA battery. More capacity than the standard eGo.

That's the same wrap I have on my Pthingy and I love it. Haven't tried to take the JWrap off, but I'd think the problem would be not to stretch it. Maybe if you put it in the freezer for a few minutes? I think I've heard of people using contact paper to make a wrap - somebody on this thread?

You can order free Di-Noc material from 3M.

You can order up to 5 patterns and two of each of the 5.

(Also has an MVP2 template.)

I know. That's what happened when I got the ProVari I wasn't going to use until most of my egos died.

One thing about cigarettes, they used to be so easy.

Took the mail boat decades ago. Not many people because it was so late in the season. The operator had to stop midstream for about twenty minutes so a couple from New York could take a picture of a bear. They were over the moon about seeing their first wild bear. No one had the heart to tell them it was a cow. Have a blast on the river, it’s beautiful.

For me, they all have a place in the stable. I tend to use my array of Spinners and such with smaller toppers and the flavors I want just now and then, putting KFs on my tube mods.

And the ego styles make a convenient backup for when I'm out and about, and one on a lanyard when driving, do it doesn't get lost  Easy to then just drop it if I need both hands...

uhhh... how now brown cow?!?

Oh yes! It’s just when I got the ProVari I was just going to make sure it worked and then put it away, I was very happy with my egos at the time. So, just like they said, it vaped great. Only going to use it in the house. We go for walks at night and I would suffer separation anxiety. So it went on walks. Now it goes to town.

Only taking the Spinners and a couple old cigalikes to Oregon, saves having to pack an extra suitcase for all the ecig stuff.

Always great to have a ton of backups when the power goes out for days too.

Kudos to Vapor 4 Life. Ordered two boxes of blank carts for the trip during their 50% off sale. They sent chocolate, no nic. Called and asked how to proceed. They insisted on sending four boxes of blanks for the error. I would have been pleased with two, but damn, hats off to them for great customer service. Those four boxes ought to last me five years.

Yeah, that cow, it was off white with a full udder. Thirty years later I still wonder what they teach in New York schools.

In other news: Flavor West's Fuzzy Navel flavoring is YUMMY

Hey thanks for the good news .... I have that flavoring, but haven't tried it yet.
What percentage did you use, I know they recommend starting at 15%, because they are weak.
I'll have to dig it out, and put it on the top of my list of next to make.
Did you mix it with anything, or just go solo :pop:

I post pic direct from my iPad. Don't think it lets me on my lap top. With the iPad, when I try to post a pic a window opens and asks, use existing or take a picture. Click on existing and it goes to my picture gallery. Chose picture then touch upload and done.

I can do pictures from either my laptop or my Kindle with no problems. Just click on the "From Computer" tab, find the picture and upload. They do tend to come out small, though.

Oh, and I hated Tapatalk. I tried it on the kindle just to see what it was like and went back to the full browser right away, just didn't like the interface. Of course the Kindle is the 8.9" size, so on something with a smaller screen it might be worthwhile.

Well I did it - happy only a little bit early vapeversary to me. I went to Smoke Evolution to check something else (the eleaf istick which looks interesting as a possible MVP alternative, but isn't in stock yet, so I can wait and ask if the button is easy to push) and they now have the iTaste VV v3 Nature series for 37.99, and the full size Nautilus for 29.99, and a 5% ecf coupon. How could I resist.

It is extra appropriate, since that's where I got my original two VV v3s (including the white one with the post problem that is my excuse for getting another Nature series VV v3) when I started vaping.

I suppose officially I shouldn't open the package until October 7.

I'll have to look at that, I didn't see a from the computer tab. If you click the pix though it enlarges :) Excellent tip thank you, nice collection by the way. I am finding the MVP2 to be pretty easy to live with. The Prothingie does all the traveling though. With the Tatroe base it sits in the cup holder just fine. :D

Amoret, happy early vapeversary! :toast: You get to open it whenever you want.

Correct me if I’m wrong somebody; they do not make a glass tube for the Kayfun Lite, correct?

 Good rejoinder, though glad no one thought of it at the time.

There are aftermarket pyrex kits for the KF, although I'm not sure about the "lite".

Oddly, KidneyPuncher's offering specifically says it will NOT work with the KFLite, but the FT one says it will...

The problem with these pyrex kits is that they're friction fit. The whole thing is held together by two O-rings and prayer. There are two other solutions I've looked at that fix this by threading the top of the chimney and having it screw into the top cap, but both of these solutions are expensive:
$78.99 for the full kit for one solution from AvidVaper
$65.00 for the other solution from Science of Vaping
The other possibility is to get an Eleaf Lemo. That's only $39.99, and it has a few other improvements, but is also a little flimsier than a regular Kayfun (according to Phil Busardo).

Not that I know of. Mine came with a full poly tube though. I like it cause.i can see how.much juice is left. Don't vape the cracking juices. (Edit) Ooops, spoke too soon. Looks like Fastech has a kit for that. Imagine that!

It says it will in the description. Might have to get me one of those. I'm thinking of putting together a Fastech order soon. Got a bunch of stuff in my "wishlist". My bday and anniversary is this month, maybe Doree will let me spend some vapefunds.

Yes, friction fit. But how's that different from most carto-tanks?

Picking up by the topper also puts undue stress on the 510 threading, both on the topper and the mod.
I've never used cartos, so I don't have any first hand experience. I only know about the Kanger Protank 3 mini and the Kayfun, but both of those are fully threaded (the top cap is screwed into the center post on the protank, and the top cap is screwed onto the sides of the tank in the Kayfun, which is screwed to the build deck). The Eleaf Lemo is also fully threaded (the top cap screws onto the chimney, which is screwed together and then screwed to the build deck. That makes sense to me, because it won't dump all of your juice into your pocket if you bump it or grab it the wrong way. As far as the 510 threading, it takes a lot more force to strip out 7mm screw threading than it does to unseat a friction-fit O-ring.

I've been tempted by the FastTech glass kit a few times, but every time I re-read the reviews, I decide to pass even though it's only $5. I just can't accept the risk involved in getting a pocket full of juice. Your mileage may vary. On the other hand, I'm seriously considering trying to get access to the machine shop and making my own threaded chimney/threaded top cap.
