I like bacon.
So do I but a very difficult flavor to get right. Or paired with something else Sweet right should I have said. I've found nice Bacon Flavors but when attempting to pair with something I feel should be sweet. It doesn't work.
This is what I've tried.
Bacon. Maple, French Toast.
Bacon, French Toast
Bacon & Cake batter

Fer sum reason, I can't convince myself to even try a bacon flav. 'Cause I KNOW it ain't gonna be what my t-buds anticipate!

Which begs da question, how many times have ya'll actually had a recipe dat tasted exactly as ya expected?

Moi, none. But close is close 'nuff vaping wise!

All this talk of bacon reminds me back when I was just starting, I won a bottle of waffle flavored juice at a vape meet. It wasn't bad so I was using it, and every time some one came around me when I was vaping they would say "Who has waffles, I smell waffles?"

Just tried out my first coil build with the RTA for my Subtank. 6 wraps of 28 ga SS, about 0.8 ohms. Turned out ok I guess, pretty good flavor at 12 watts with some strawberry muffin. I got the coil master kit, seems to make a nice even coil.

Isn’t @Frenchfry1942 in Afghanistan right now? Stay safe Frenchfry and have a wonderful, peaceful trip!
Ugh, bacon is not something I'd try to vape. Eating, though...it is the stuff of gods. I'll be cooking a pound tomorrow - every weekend, to keep my fat jar full. Gotta keep these cast iron skillets happy!
Jup, just ask Deb. Apparently whacking someone on the head with the skillet also helps.

Psst... Use the eraser of a pencil. Perfect fit.
Tried the eraser, even bought several different kinds, and it didn't work for my problem. Believe me, I tried. Scratch brush removed the baked on crud quickly. Also had a black something (dog hair, bug, ...?) on the inner provari battery connection that wouldn't come off. Brush took it off relatively easily. Saw the suggestion on ECF, tried it, it worked, passed the info on. Not knocking the eraser, but if that doesn't work, the brush is a great backup.
AKA burnishing brush. I've used 'em fer decades fer cleaning electronic/electrical contacts. Just insure all da residue is removed before any usage!
You mean residue from prior cleanings?
yeah and I whacked retired with it about a week ago, and got no reaction from him or anyone on the thread! :( lol
 Whack him again! I missed that? :( How did I miss that?
Oh, aye, it's out of rotation till I get around to stripping the whole thing. I'm thinking the paint came off from in the drip tip hole in the top cap and fell into the chimney from there.
That makes more sense than the way I first read it. Yep, strip that puppy down!
I am a master at making something work - one way or another. There is mutton that either a sharp blade or a big hammer cannot adjust...
Step slowly away from the poor little sheepie. NOW! :grr:
Whenever I think about it, I worry I may have made the wrong choice. The doctor told me that they encourage someone my age to choose the mechanical valve. But, she accepted my choice anyway.

My reasoning was that I would have so much trouble keeping up the right coumadin level that it would be more dangerous to my health. But, it does make me nervous for my new valve to have an expiration date!

I just laid down for a few minutes . . . . fifty more pages behind!

Our experiences are "anecdotal". Their information is pure fantasy!

Apparently that's their strategy. Go so far overboard as to be insane. Get away with it because it's so insane that no one believes it.

A few decades ago, I use to go to restaurants and ask for their old mayo and pickle gallon containers.

When I can't decide, I either buy both or just walk away in confusion and buy none.

I do the same thing. Except with me, it's internalized. I go round and round. It's very irritating to have so much of my mind taken up with that . . . . . stuff.
@DancingHeretik, My father was on coumadin for decades. He was recently switched over to another, new, medication that didn't require monitoring. Good thing since they moved the clinic miles away across the city from where he, early mid-90s, lives. Months later he's still trying to adjust not being a weekly victim of a porcupine attack. If you want the name of it, I'd be more than happy to get it for you.
I make show leads for dogs with beads. We have a nice display of ones we put together but some people like to pick their own. We also have a big rack display of beads to make a custom lead. It is pretty funny women who come in daily for days and agonize over the beads they want. We try to help (hubby is actually better than me, that is one thing I get impatient with but he gets a kick out of it. I have to braid and assemble the danged lead so get on with it already!).

I, personally don't get it. I want the judge looking at my dog not the lead, but whatever. Once Geordi is a finished Champion and I am showing him as a "Special", he will probably have a stunning beaded lead. Heck, one to match any outfit I wear! LOL! Guess it's the current thing.. And I know this woman who makes beautiful beaded kangaroo leather leads. ;)
If you can work those beads into an electrically conductive lead, I'll take one for for El Whacko please. :D

In his defense, My husband was tickling his back feet tonight when he pulled in his leg back and "punched" my husband in the face. ROFL! And he did it with the leg he had surgery on. My husband saw lights, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. :)

You are right though. We make fun of "new shinny," though we usually use tried-and-true old faithfuls, only switching out when we have to or to try something more advanced.

It's disheartening to go into the big cities and see people with their shinny new cars, phones, clothes, latest fades, plastic boxed foods, etc. History is a fad they pay homage to on the appointed date, never in between.

I'm glad Geordi is making it because the vast majority of humanity doesn't seem to be able to see beyond their cell phones and political/big business propaganda. Just look at vaping or the English bull dog.
I'm having a bit of trouble buying drip tips.

The tip on one of my PT minis is getting worn. I always thought they were stainless but one of them is wearing around the end and I can see copper underneath. I assume that means it's chrome plated, and I've been swallowing small pieces of chrome. I hoping that doesn't mean the rest of the PT tank is plated. I looked them up and the blurb said "the body of the tank is made from durable 304 stainless steel". I guess that excludes the tip. I never thought about getting new tips because I assumed they were a chunk of stainless steel and they would last forever. Anyway that was my impetus for shopping drip tips.

You can only get so much from the picture on a web site. Hard to figure out the size and how it will look on the tank. Or how wide the hole is. They can cost a bunch of money or be really cheap. Kidney Puncher has a large selection of $1 tips and I just ordered 8 of them, in stainless, delrin and brass. I saw what looked like some of the same ones on other sites for $5.

The tips on the PT's and minis are shaped to follow the line of the tank, I'm not going to find exact matches. Same with the Lemo and Kayfun. Doesn't bother me that much, I'll live with tips that work.

I did pick up a tip at a shop once after I lost one. It cost $3 and was so loose it would fall out if I turned the tank upside down. Put another o-ring on it and it was better but very tight. Maybe I should go to a shop and pay a little more to be able to see before I buy. I just don't trust them though, I might end up with more chrome plated brass.

Anyway, I'm just venting. I'll figure it out but it's a frustrating process right now.
Saw elsewhere you put in a FT order, hope it works for you. They at least give some measurements on their DTs and have pages of them broken down into the material they are made of.

I had a particular "plastic" DT I liked that cost almost $4.00 apiece plus shipping. Finally found a similar one on FT for just over $1 apiece. Took some doing but I got there. Deeming can kiss my feathery ..... :D

You're on your way to vaping independence!

Keep all your factory heads for that as well, they're pretty simple to rebuild, and give you more backups ;)

Hopefully there is no previous residue! I meant the current cleaning (eraser 'bits'/brush tips).

Whoa, wait... ya mean dat's not a permanent molt?!?!
