Hmmm, making me want to watch it again. My old batts are over 5 years old with 9 being rotated during most of that time. After I lost 3 over time I decided to bring it back up to 9 again and that is when I noticed the difference.

Maybe just maybe I noticed it backwards - next time I will be more attentive to be sure, but I am pretty sure that is what I noticed. All of my old ones, but one has new sleeves (black) so telling the difference between the new ones and the old ones is fairly easy.

I am still wondering just how long these things will last. The consensus when I asked before was when they just didn't hold a charge long enough - all of mine get me through a day and I change batts every morning. Tootle puffer at 3.5v so I don't eat through batts very fast...

No, you probably remembered correctly as others said the same thing. But I still had the same reaction today when I charged some; "Dang, that was fast!" However, if everybody on the porch was slapped on the right cheek, I'd be the one that got slapped on the left. :grr:

Not sure if I should be impressed that you have 5-year-old batteries or just scared for you. I am NOT a battery expert. I think it's more important how many times they've been recharged?

I'm a tootler too but go through 3-4 18490s a day, usually. Eleven in rotation.

Come to think of it, I think I do have some "really" old batteries that need to go off to recycling heaven. I'll try to remember to do a side-by-side recycling test on the old vs "new."

Dang, BUSTED! ;)

I do have one and, like me, it's retired. Works fine, nice mod, but I do have a lot of flavors going at all times, and I do like to adjust for the articular flavor. VW or VV, it's still easier to do with multi-button mods.

I generally have 3 or 4 by the easy chair, 5 or 6 at the desk, and one in a holster on my hip. If I step out to get the paper, there's another in my shirt pocket....

So busted, says the one button vaper. :D

So you're a multimodder due to flavor chasing. I'm down to unflavored, so eight tanks with unflavored gets a bit redundant. I use Spinner when I visit the folks, Provari all other times. Here's the drawback; when you misplace your one mod, it's sheer panic until you've found it again. More than once I've had to drag out a Spinner for an hour or two (or overnight) until I've found that dang mod again.

Atta boy, girl!

Pulling an ECF no-no here because almost nobody goes to the other thread.

It's been so hot for so long here (house was around 100 here) that I'm trying this tomorrow. Watch it with the tune "Maniac" in mind. Anyone know of a waterproof mod?

Interesting about 9 making the diff. I too have 9 AW 18350s in rotation and I charge them 2 at a time so they get the recommended rest before and after charging. Been using them for about 2 years now and they still charge to 4.0.

I too tootle puff but at 3.3-3.4 so one bat lasts me about 9 hours.

That is what prompted me to ask the question a while back. So after a consensus from the group and some reading at the Battery University - I am fairly confident in still using the batts.

Since I have 9 in rotation and they last me all day - that means they are only being charged once a week (a little less). 5 years x 52 weeks - 260 charges.

I also try to avoid vaping them until the PV blinks and lets me know they need recharge. So I am not draining them to a low level before I charge them. Per the battery university - this "should" extend the life up to 500 or 600 charges???

I also try to make sure I never over charge them and I always let them rest after using / before charging and after charging / before using...

If the math truly holds out - they "could" (I doubt it) be good for another 5 years...

Oh, and I also only use quality batts...

    Hiya, Dinger!

TC? I guess I could. But, I'm happy with VW for now. I'm just so grateful I'm not stuck with the old non-VV/VW stuff from a few years ago!!!!!

Funny, I still use "non-VV/VW" a lot, and their definitely "one button mods"
(some with magnets some with springs, but only one button)

So does that mean you think about it on purpose? Some of us like that kinda thing.

    [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Did you mean juice into the AIR flow or am I lost?

Juice flow. Because after sitting a few days there would be enough juice in the wick to give me a hit or 2 & then nothing. Couldn't even get any juice into the chamber by hard pulls. That must have just been pulling that oring tighter againest the juice flow holes.

Ensuite bath was a new one on me, after all. I assume that's a bathroom that's only accessible from your bedroom?

Yes, it's part of the master bedroom set up.

    Doesn't that mean 2 half-day vapes?[emoji38]

That's about how it works out!

What's the ecf no no? BP is in the Lounge, we can post almost anything. Videos, music, pics, gifs. FP is restricted to vape only. That's why we do both. I only go to the front when I have something vaping specific or get a notification that someone else posted there.

I am pretty sure she meant cross posting the video
and I am pretty sure she was talking about the Petition thread. :)

Yeah mine are about 1-2 years old and I notice them not lasting quite as long but still OK. If I replace them I have to buy at least 20 of them cause I have a 3 battery mod and 2-2 battery ones so right there is 14 batteries cause you are supposed to keep them paired up. They are nice for lasting but I really prefer the single battery, except for I notice with the DNA's they start getting weak when they get near the end. The SX's hang right in till they reach the limit then your all done.

Me too I have about 10 of the LG's the model before they came out with the HG2's but I'm so spoiled with the 3000mAh batts I just don't feel like changing them more often. The height of laziness.

I heard that earlier. I think it was @Kenna posted it on another board. It looks like the deeming got another business.
Wasn't me. I think I only bought a few AW's from them when I got the Provari's for my niece & nephew.
