@DancingHeretik, My father was on coumadin for decades. He was recently switched over to another, new, medication that didn't require monitoring. Good thing since they moved the clinic miles away across the city from where he, early mid-90s, lives. Months later he's still trying to adjust not being a weekly victim of a porcupine attack. If you want the name of it, I'd be more than happy to get it for you.
Yes, please.

I waited too long on the Therions. I was going to order 2 Red ones only 1 left so I got that one. Now whether to stick with that or I can get one with a braided Italian leather and walnut inlay, $25 more. Think I'll stick with one till I see how the dna works out. SX came out with 3 new mods to beat the deadline of the 8th they aren't available yet but they are on the Varitube website so I guess the prototype will get their foot in the door. I've decided no more SX's. Too expensive and pisses me off that they came out with 3 better ones withinn a couple of months of the one we been waiting nearly a year for. It's even more money $239. I would like to get the limited edition Therion cause it is a thing of beauty but my plans are to put one of my Q's 1ML aside and quit using them when I get home. I have put them through their paces on the trip so I know they work as supposed to. The LE Therion is only available at Origin Vape and the 6% off code won't work on it so they can keep it. I like the Therion because it uses 2 18650's in Parallel giving you great battery life on a 75w mod. Plus it is very sturdy.

The last thing I wanted to get was spare drip tips. I ordered 10 from Kidney Puncher for $1 each. I think they have a better selection than FT. Now I know what fits each of my tanks. I'm placing an order tonight before the age verification hits. I would put up with that process if there was something I needed, but after the drip tips there isn't anything else I need.

Anyone got an opinion on brass drip tips? There's one that's a perfect fit for PT Minis and also for the Kayfun. Looks really nice on the gold Kayfun too. Seem to remember that brass rings turn your finger blue, or is that just copper?

Another question. Does the size of the hole affect the vaping qualities of a tank? I tried some of my new tips that had different sized holes to the originals and it didn't seem to make any difference to me. Wondering if it's something that only comes into play if you use high power.

My last minute order of replacement plastic tanks for the Kayfun flew through customs in one day. Then it sat in Chicago sorting for 3 days. Suddenly appeared in Indianapolis this evening.

Now I'm really looking forward to Tuesday. A chance to stop worrying and decompress. And also get all my stuff organized. Put it in plastic tubs and bags, all labelled up nice.

What are we all going to talk about then? Today I didn't buy anything again. Vaped on the same old outdated tanks I've used for years. That I bought for pennies in the clearance sales. Every few months replace an o-ring on something.

IMO the tip will have an effect. Too small a bore focuses the vape on one small part of the tongue. Too wide and it's too airy for me.

Brass tips, for me, are low on my list. Just don't care for any metal tips.

Eciggity has 20% off everything till midnite tonight HST. Their prices are good any way if you want to get a Tobeco KF V5 makes them about just under $21. IMO every bit as good as the $120 authentic.

Thanks for the heads up I got a Velocity clone and some kanthal for $20

Gonna be one hellava heavenly jazz band now...

RIJ, Pete!

That was great! Thank you.

Braided Italian leather and walnut inlay? Oh, my!
@DancingHeretik, it is called Eliquis, and my father says it’s quite expensive so depends on how good your health insurance is. “Apixaban, sold under the tradename Eliquis…” I know, and know you know, about wiki/talking to doctors, blah, blah, but there is this. Apixaban - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Hope this helps.
Thank you.

Just stopping in to say hi. It's been a while since I've sat on the porch. I quit vaping for about three months or so thinking the new FDA regs would ruin it so why not go ahead and stop. Didn't smoke, didn't want to, but I really did miss vaping. It's really not an addiction for me. It's more of an outlet for my anxiety and boredom.

I gave away all my attys to the guys at work but kept a couple mods so I decided to pick up a Cleito and some juice on the way home from work today. :w00t: I'll probably keep on with it as long as it's not prohibitively expensive.

Got a few of my favorite juices coming in the mail as well as a new RDA. I couldn't believe all the new mods and drippers they had at the store. The gear I used to use is all a bunch of antiques now, I guess.

I hope everyone has been doing good. It feels good to vape again.
Welcome back MS, glad you found your way home. :) If there is one thing I've learned on ECF over the years, it's not to get rid of all your vape gear if you decide to quit (you didn't so ). So many people have rushed to quit only to go back to smoking and have to start all over again. Doesn't sound like you went back to the stinkies, actually you didn't, yet you're back and we're happy to have you here again. :)

Please, anyone giving up vaping now, hang onto your because it very likely won't be so easy to replace it on down the line.
Hello everyone. While I am not quite 55 yet, the way the years seem to roll by as I get older it won't be much longer, so I figured I better grab a spot for my chair on the porch. I was a 1 1/2 to a 2 pack a day smoker since I started in the seventies, finally started vaping in 2012 and haven't had a stinkie since. Started out on an Ego with the Ego tank, moved up to a Vamo first with a CE4 style, then Protank 2's. After the Deeming news I decided to bite the bullet and got a couple of Provari's, a P3 and a Radius, figuring the would last a long time. I just got a couple of Subtanks so I can start rebuilding coils(will take some getting used to vaping at higher wattages), but still like the Protanks as my all day tank.
Hi Ed! Welcome to the porch. You got all the standard welcome messages but don't think you got the whoopee/pincushion warning. Too late now, unfortunately. :(

I use an alternate equivalent to the Protank, it's what I stocked up on. Worked for years, why change now. I did a couple of new tanks to try on down the road for fun but am happy with what I've got if everything else vanishes post deeming.

Again, welcome to a very caring, rocking, community. :)

Ya, if there were ID checks here, they'd kick me out for sure! (I'm to old)
You keep trying to get kicked out. Face it, it ain't gonna work. :nah:
Hahaha! I think it has more to do with the aches and pains that I wake up with every day now. I've spent more than my fair share of time around older folks... some of my best memories as a kid was sittin' around the shop with my grandpa... listening to him and his friends tell stories. :)
Jup, I have fantasies about being able to go back and listen to their stories again. They went through the ringer. WWI, Depression, forgot to ask them about Prohibition (something I dearly regret), WWII, everything in between.

In my fantasies, I'm a fly on the wall vaping (no joke, I have severe ADHD and get wired and pace uncontrollably when something arouses my curiosity, nic controls that, that's why I smoked). Grandfather was a soldier for the wrong side in WWI, fled for his life in WWII. Grandmother grew up essentially in a frontier town admiring everyone from Native Americans to Chinese immigrants who made the place succeed. Great grandfather nearly killed a man with one punch boxing on a barge anchored in the middle of a major river and never really recovered from the guilt.

We have our stories to tell but most of them pale in comparison unless you're vet of war or discrimination.

What they have tried to do with vaping should be a biggie, not to mention the lives lost as a consequence, but will any of our descendants care? Will anybody listen?
My opinion? Just throw them away, why would anyone willingly consume coconut?:D

And I especially don't know how anyone vapes the stuff...@debadoo I'm talking to you on that one, you actually got coconut flavoring to mix with, what is wrong with you.

OK, slightly off topic but since coconut was brought up...I can't stand the stuff. Practically makes me gag. I'm also not a big fan of chocolate cake. So can someone please tell me why, if you place a German Chocolate cake in front of me, with that traditional coconut filled carmelly frosting or whatever you want to call it, why can't I stop eating it?
I'm allergic to coconut, not like other nuts that will kill me, but it will cause a reaction. Some time back my guess was that the sudden problem I was having with Wal-Mart VG was that it was extracted from coconut. Had sudden breathing problems from it. :(

Recently saw that ED used to have VG extracted from coconut. Now they do soy and palm. What a relief to know I can get palm from them on down the line if WLs goes under. :D Until that, I had no desire to order from them, now it is essential (no pun). You would think wally world would put the ingredients on their label since nuts are one of the top allergens and they advertise it to smear it all over your hands.

BTW, if you all are tossing your coconut shells into a dumpster, might want to reconsider and toss them into the ocean. Octopus use them to shelter themselves from predictors in open areas where they have nowhere else to shelter. Can't find the right video but this gives you an idea.

Don't even think about saying something nasty Iffy. :grr: I'll get to you tomorrow, now that I can type again.

If I had it to do all over again, and my interest in history and psychology, I would have gotten into counseling the elderly. I recently talked to a 90 some lady whose family went through the wringer during the depression. I think her story has something to do with my area of special interest. Fascinating stuff, and so many people refuse to deal with traumatic events, nice to be able to draw it out of them, and see the positive results when they resolve the hurt. More of them need to get into writing. The value of those memoirs is great, if only to the families, but sometimes publishable.

Anyway, I got some ED VG last week. Much less expensive than Humco at Walmart, just more of an investment, since it takes more than a year to get through a gallon.

Hmmm ... I recall there being some concern about brass drip tips and their composition. The 'safe' ones were made from Naval Brass.

Same with brass atty's. Naval brass is what you should be ensuring the item is made out of to keep lead leaching at a minimum.
