Just stopping in to say hi. It's been a while since I've sat on the porch. I quit vaping for about three months or so thinking the new FDA regs would ruin it so why not go ahead and stop. Didn't smoke, didn't want to, but I really did miss vaping. It's really not an addiction for me. It's more of an outlet for my anxiety and boredom.
I gave away all my attys to the guys at work but kept a couple mods so I decided to pick up a Cleito and some juice on the way home from work today.

I'll probably keep on with it as long as it's not prohibitively expensive.
Got a few of my favorite juices coming in the mail as well as a new RDA. I couldn't believe all the new mods and drippers they had at the store. The gear I used to use is all a bunch of antiques now, I guess.
I hope everyone has been doing good. It feels good to vape again.
Welcome back MS, glad you found your way home.

If there is one thing I've learned on ECF over the years, it's not to get rid of all your vape gear if you decide to quit (you didn't so

). So many people have rushed to quit only to go back to smoking and have to start all over again. Doesn't sound like you went back to the stinkies, actually you didn't, yet you're back and we're happy to have you here again.
Please, anyone giving up vaping now, hang onto your because it very likely won't be so easy to replace it on down the line.
Hello everyone. While I am not quite 55 yet, the way the years seem to roll by as I get older it won't be much longer, so I figured I better grab a spot for my chair on the porch. I was a 1 1/2 to a 2 pack a day smoker since I started in the seventies, finally started vaping in 2012 and haven't had a stinkie since. Started out on an Ego with the Ego tank, moved up to a Vamo first with a CE4 style, then Protank 2's. After the Deeming news I decided to bite the bullet and got a couple of Provari's, a P3 and a Radius, figuring the would last a long time. I just got a couple of Subtanks so I can start rebuilding coils(will take some getting used to vaping at higher wattages), but still like the Protanks as my all day tank.
Hi Ed! Welcome to the porch. You got all the standard welcome messages but don't think you got the whoopee/pincushion warning. Too late now, unfortunately.
I use an alternate equivalent to the Protank, it's what I stocked up on. Worked for years, why change now. I did a couple of new tanks to try on down the road for fun but am happy with what I've got if everything else vanishes post deeming.
Again, welcome to a very caring, rocking, community.
Ya, if there were ID checks here, they'd kick me out for sure! (I'm to old)
You keep trying to get kicked out. Face it, it ain't gonna work.
Hahaha! I think it has more to do with the aches and pains that I wake up with every day now. I've spent more than my fair share of time around older folks... some of my best memories as a kid was sittin' around the shop with my grandpa... listening to him and his friends tell stories.
Jup, I have fantasies about being able to go back and listen to their stories again. They went through the ringer. WWI, Depression, forgot to ask them about Prohibition (something I dearly regret), WWII, everything in between.
In my fantasies, I'm a fly on the wall vaping (no joke, I have severe ADHD and get wired and pace uncontrollably when something arouses my curiosity, nic controls that, that's why I smoked). Grandfather was a soldier for the wrong side in WWI, fled for his life in WWII. Grandmother grew up essentially in a frontier town admiring everyone from Native Americans to Chinese immigrants who made the place succeed. Great grandfather nearly killed a man with one punch boxing on a barge anchored in the middle of a major river and never really recovered from the guilt.
We have our stories to tell but most of them pale in comparison unless you're vet of war or discrimination.
What they have tried to do with vaping should be a biggie, not to mention the lives lost as a consequence, but will any of our descendants care? Will anybody listen?
My opinion? Just throw them away, why would anyone willingly consume coconut?
And I especially don't know how anyone vapes the stuff...@debadoo I'm talking to you on that one, you actually got coconut flavoring to mix with, what is wrong with you.
OK, slightly off topic but since coconut was brought up...I can't stand the stuff. Practically makes me gag. I'm also not a big fan of chocolate cake. So can someone please tell me why, if you place a German Chocolate cake in front of me, with that traditional coconut filled carmelly frosting or whatever you want to call it, why can't I stop eating it?
I'm allergic to coconut, not like other nuts that will kill me, but it will cause a reaction. Some time back my guess was that the sudden problem I was having with Wal-Mart VG was that it was extracted from coconut. Had sudden breathing problems from it.
Recently saw that ED used to have VG extracted from coconut. Now they do soy and palm. What a relief to know I can get palm from them on down the line if WLs goes under.

Until that, I had no desire to order from them, now it is essential (no pun). You would think wally world would put the ingredients on their label since nuts are one of the top allergens and they advertise it to smear it all over your hands.
BTW, if you all are tossing your coconut shells into a dumpster, might want to reconsider and toss them into the ocean. Octopus use them to shelter themselves from predictors in open areas where they have nowhere else to shelter. Can't find the right video but this gives you an idea.
Don't even think about saying something nasty Iffy.

I'll get to you tomorrow, now that I can type again.
