@MikeE3 do you have one of your K5's built yet. If so what do you think. They are a little finicky like all Kf's but I can get over the seeping. I just take the bottom 2 pices off and wipe it out and it's good for 3 or 4 more tanks. They're not like a KFL but with the MTL kit heard they work great for people who like to vape like that. Have to make some juice today. Think I will try a 30ml of Blueberry Watermelon while I'm at it.
Ok @2legsshrt --- I'm calling you out for not reading what we post on the porch.
Quick update ... I stopped using it until I put one of the air restrictors in. Even on 1 pip it's a bit too airy for me. And I don't have any leaking or condensation problems with it. Maybe it's you sub-ohm TC builds doing it ... I still a Kanthal type of guy.
@2legsshrt
Well Pat ... I finally got to building the Tobeco KFV5. I used 29g Kanthal (1st time trying it instead of 28), 6 wraps, 2.5mm Id for 1.5Ωs, wicked with Delasco Rayon. I'm using 1 'pip' for the air flow which seems OK for me, and the juice is open 1 1/2 turns. My juice is 50/50 pg/vg.

Not a significant difference from a KFV4 but a lot less parts. The deck was convenient for wrapping the wire leads. I'm glad I went w/ the 29g, I only needed 6 wraps instead of 8 (w/ 28g) to get 1.5Ωs. 8 wraps would have been 'iffy' with the deck screws directly opposite each other. I like the 4 screws on the KFV4 - I can make my coils 'longer' and use opposite 'corner' screws to secure them.
And
@2legsshrt, I'm so hoping you're right about how good the Tobeco KFV5's are. I only took one of the 2 I bought out of the box today and looked at it. Then I got an email from eciggity w/ a 20% off coupon code. Ding-dong ... I order 2 more.
