Hm. Nice find but I never was that fond of the Twist - I switched to Vision Spinners (v1) for VV. Let's see what else might be interesting...
I still like my Spinners and use them when I go up to visit my folks. FT has them fairly cheaply. (They're the V2, but I like them).
1100 mAh for $6.11 $6.11 Vision Spinner II 1100mAh VV Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery - 3.3-4.8V / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
1300 mAh for $6.41 $6.41 Vision Spinner II 1300mAh VV Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery - 3.3-4.8V / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Have 6-8 of them and they are solid enough that I'd be upset if I dumped one of them in the drink.
I have found that my taste has changed since I started vaping. I really liked a juice called Rumchata when I first started. Not long ago I got a free 10ml from the vape store and almost gagged.
Boy, did my taste buds make some strong changes after I started vaping. Don't even get me started on how my sense of smell "improved." :(
yeah,, I haven't even hit a year yet with vaping,, my taste buds have moved around quite a bit over the months. I have like 45+ flavors,, and play around with them as time permits,, right now bakery is working. my last batch of bakery was 600mls. playing around a bit with coffee & cream. Apple and something is sorta working.. apricot, and peaches are acceptable.

personally I would like to nail down 5-8 simple recipes and be 'done with it'. my cookie is fine as 1,, my coffee is almost there. now I need a few others with no more than 5 ingredients,, and hopefully using some of the ingredients I already use in the cookie & coffee.
Wow, you have come a long way in a relatively short time. At almost 3 1/2 years, I'm still adjusting the flavor percentages down because it gets too strong. The good news, saves money!
Especially when there are 5 things on someones multi post that I want to comment on! One at a time peepoles!
Peepoles. El Whacko snickered. He's got peepoles all over the yard he addresses one at a time with no problem. It's when he tries to multitask them that he gets done in.
Some flavors, like bacon and crab, were just not meant to be vaped.. JMHO..
Um no, it's the truth!
All this talk of bacon reminds me back when I was just starting, I won a bottle of waffle flavored juice at a vape meet. It wasn't bad so I was using it, and every time some one came around me when I was vaping they would say "Who has waffles, I smell waffles?"

Just tried out my first coil build with the RTA for my Subtank. 6 wraps of 28 ga SS, about 0.8 ohms. Turned out ok I guess, pretty good flavor at 12 watts with some strawberry muffin. I got the coil master kit, seems to make a nice even coil.
Used to love it when people would look at each other and say, "Do you smell cupcakes?"
Everybody here laughed when coilers first came out, though saw the benefit for people with bad or shaky hands. Now we all use them.

LOL not very often if ever; now that you mention it
I sent Deb some of my last Bacon attempt. She said it wasn't very good:shock::cry::eek::lol::lol::lol: Oops back to the kitchen:tumble:
lol sorry hun.....but to be fair, I've tried a few bacon vapes, none were good, and neither was the bacon milkshake JIB came out with. Can't stand turkey bacon either. There just aint no good fake bacon flavor. I appreciated you sending it though!

yay! good for you!! and the strawberry muffin sounds really good!

 Whack him again! I missed that? :( How did I miss that?
lol it was on another thread

In his defense, My husband was tickling his back feet tonight when he pulled in his leg back and "punched" my husband in the face. ROFL! And he did it with the leg he had surgery on. My husband saw lights, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. :)
Good for Oscar!!! they aren't quite as sensitive as they used to be, but when anyone tickled my feet, somehow my poor son would end up getting kicked in the head.

IMO the tip will have an effect. Too small a bore focuses the vape on one small part of the tongue. Too wide and it's too airy for me.

Brass tips, for me, are low on my list. Just don't care for any metal tips.
Jup.......agree with both of these. Can't stand any kind of metal tips even aluminum.

BTW, if you all are tossing your coconut shells into a dumpster, might want to reconsider and toss them into the ocean. Octopus use them to shelter themselves from predictors in open areas where they have nowhere else to shelter. Can't find the right video but this gives you an idea.
that is soooooo kewl!

Fyi - this juice vendor is closing due to the deeming. Nice of him to post some of the actually recipes for some of his flavors.

Gordona Vapes
oh wow! kewl......thanks for posting this Hate that they have to close down

Hopefully there is no previous residue! I meant the current cleaning (eraser 'bits'/brush tips).

Whoa, wait... ya mean dat's not a permanent molt?!?!

eek.gif
Okay, thanks, got it. :)
The permanent molt is getting old. If I can remember how to do it, I'm changing it.
BTW, be careful who you are responding to these days. Retired and Robin are the avi Bobbsey Twins, as are a number of other members, in protest of 8-8.
What are we all going to talk about then? Today I didn't buy anything again. Vaped on the same old outdated tanks I've used for years. That I bought for pennies in the clearance sales. Every few months replace an o-ring on something.
We're going to talk about what places have the best age verification, whether or not orders made it through customs and try to help those that didn't see it coming. There's also court cases and how we can best direct our efforts to help support those fighting for us. Then there's the shops going out of business--you all know Molehill Mountain is now out of business, right?--and what the latest bs states have pulled. We'll long for the days when it was slow enough we could go OT here.
If I had it to do all over again, and my interest in history and psychology, I would have gotten into counseling the elderly. I recently talked to a 90 some lady whose family went through the wringer during the depression. I think her story has something to do with my area of special interest. Fascinating stuff, and so many people refuse to deal with traumatic events, nice to be able to draw it out of them, and see the positive results when they resolve the hurt. More of them need to get into writing. The value of those memoirs is great, if only to the families, but sometimes publishable.

Anyway, I got some ED VG last week. Much less expensive than Humco at Walmart, just more of an investment, since it takes more than a year to get through a gallon.
A while back the BBC had a project going to record the experiences of people who lived through the Blitz (a aunt did buy she'd passed away then and, regrettably, I know none of her stories) and I believe, WWII experiences in England. It's a crying shame more isn't being done around the world to record oral histories.
My VG will make about 8 gallons of juice. I really need to buy some more Boston rounds. :(
Wade a minut... Coconut comes from palm trees. And coconut is not a nut. Actually a fruit.
Coconut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wiki can call it anything they want, I still have a mild allergy to it, what about someone that has a severe allergy to it? Just recovering from a week with infected hives and blisters on my fingertips because of unlisted ingredients on a bag of dog treats. One guess where they are made. Too late, China. Thank you Wally World. The dog has an allergy to oats, I do expect them to label correctly. :grr:
Trust Gary on that, he knows about nutz...
Gary is nutz, it'z why we love him. :)
Well, THAT explains it! The FDA says it's a nut, so it must be a nut!!

Except after tomorrow, it will be tobacco, not a nut...
If nothing else, at least now they will have to label things correctly. Try buying juice online when you have potentially fatal allergies and they won't tell what's in them. DIY was an easy choice for me.
Oh, I was completely done with vaping. Kept saying "I'm tired of carrying this thing around, I'm tired of rewicking, juice leaking, charging batteries, I'm going to save so much money, etc.."

I missed vaping the whole time though and I was really unhappy without it despite all the hangups that come with it.

There wasn't any urge to smoke though and I was glad for that. While I was here last time, I kinda drifted away from the Porch but I did wonder how you guys were doing while I quit vaping.
We're an addictive bunch of loons aren't we? :D
I do get it completely, just promise that next time you decide to put the vape aside, you hang on to your gear and come visit us when the vaping urge hits you again. We'll be here as long as ECF is. :)
Well thanks guys for turning me on to that little scratcher pen. My old S class almost 2 years old was starting to act wonky so I took the atomizer apart dryburned the Kanthal coil clean my contacts with that little scratcher then a qtip. used alcohol and it's back to working right again. I thought the chip might be wearing out after 2 years of daily use well nightly use. It's the one I keep on my nightstand. My resistance was running between 2 and 3.5 now it's steady at 1.5 like it was supposed to be. I gotta order some more of those. My contact on the mod was black and it wouldn't come off with a Qtip and alcohol but that little scratcher took it right off. I'll tell you these SX's are amazing. That was their very first chip,
Glad it worked!
Wen all else failz... paint.
Or buy a sleeve or wrap, while you still can.
WOW just watched the Blue Angels at Sefair. Pretty cool even if they had to do their Low Altitude show. Imagine that clouds in Seattle.
Yep, they are cool at any altitude.
That is over-the-top hilarious. Eagerly awaiting her reply.
Lemme say dis about dat. Provari recommends cleaning once a week. (we were talking provari here) Anything abrasive causes wear. Eraser... virtually no wear. Just cleans the gunk off. Datz my opinyun n' I'm stuk wid it.
One thing about the provari, they gunk up really fast. So if you wanna polish your car, do you use a rag or sandpaper? :)
If you rub the brush across your hand, it's not abrasive. NOTHING like sandpaper. For the sake of simplicity, can we reduce this to an, "Is," "Is not" argument? :)
I usually swab the 510 connections any time the topper comes off, but have never had an issue with battery contacts in any of my mods. Then again, none of them are Pthingys :)
So then, you're admitting you missed the boat? ;)
All y'all got me to thinking, maybe I should clean my Visions terminals...

Ummmm, you have access to a grinder, I hope.
It sure is quiet on ECF tonight.

Oops, meant to post this. Kidney Puncher has a lot of stuff on clearance for great prices. There's some good stuff in there if it's what your looking for. Clearance - Page 1 - Kidney Puncher
@3mg Meniere Maybe these?
Mini Nemesis Clone
Sigelei 16340 8W Mechanical Mod
:)

I didn't know that.......that really sucks!
Yes it sucks. Bravo to the :censored: FDA for putting beloved independent establishments out of business and sending their workers to the unemployment line. Worse yet, they will begin to send thousands of people to the proverbial gallows. Their deaths won't be proverbial , inexpensive or pleasant. It will arouse a deep anger and hatred in me as to what happened to them.

While you are figuring out how to change from your current avatar, how about just carrying an 8-8 avatar around? Seriously considering doing the same for a while.

Yes, oral histories are good for most, but for those who have kept up with technology, being able to word-process is a huge boost to their egoes. So much easier than a hand-written memoir. I have an aunt who won't touch a cellphone, so even though she is an intellectually capable retired nurse, oral is the way to go.

For me, when the urge builds to resume writing, I start worrying about whether I can still get into it. Once I start, it flows like silk.

Hmmm ... I recall there being some concern about brass drip tips and their composition. The 'safe' ones were made from Naval Brass.

Oh great. I really liked that tip and got 6 more of them. Only a dollar each though.

It's a no-name tip, probably from somewhere in China, so I have no way of finding out what it's made of. Don't suppose there's any way of figuring out whether brass is loaded with lead? Like a lead test kit. Maybe Google knows.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, nice friendly porch here. I just picked up an Aspire Triton 2 the other day, with the 1.8 ohm coil and the air flow turned down makes a nice, flavorful MTL tank. It wasn't bad with the 0.4 ohm doing DTL as well. I think I am going to get the RBA kit for it and give it a try.
Welcome, Ed! And congrats on trying an RBA!

I've washed them before; not a good thing, but let it air dry for a day in the sun and it's good.:D:shock:
Mechs. The answer is mechs. Specially mech squonkers.

Thanks! I was just lamenting the fact that for the first time in awhile I don't have any vape mail that I'm waiting on. I needed an excuse to order something.
So? What'd ja get?

@DancingHeretik, it is called Eliquis, and my father says it’s quite expensive so depends on how good your health insurance is. “Apixaban, sold under the tradename Eliquis…” I know, and know you know, about wiki/talking to doctors, blah, blah, but there is this. Apixaban - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Hope this helps.
My dad was on Prodaxa for a NY minute. He's now on Eliquis. Since the Prodaxa lawsuit, more carriers have added Eliquis to their formulary. Dad says he'll still end up in the doughnut hole, though...

If I happened to have been a wee bit remiss in P3 cleaning (not sayin I have been. Hypothetical, ya know), what might I use to clean off a lot of gunk?

Hammer + chizel + teeny guy.
Akchooley all my P2.5's complain after a week or two. Dunno about the p3 yet. But even when they do complain, the contacts don't look bad at all. Go figger.
