I love it when a plan comes together. I haven't used my REO for a while so when I took my first vape on it it didn't taste right. I took the barrel off of the REO and the coils were gunked up. I grabbed my Starwars lunch box and started cleaning it up. I pulsed the coils then rinsed the topper in hot water. I let it dry and put new KGD cotton in the coils. The REO is now vaping like it should. I really should use it more but I'm just flat lazy. Well, time to read a few pages and see what mischief Stephanie Plum can get into. Goodnight to everyone and go to bed tonight knowing you're loved.
I'm so glad you are enjoying those books!

Ya gotta love it, not subtle code speak. Nature's Flavors no longer shows vaping as a potential use of their flavors, but while checking to be sure I had the right Earl Grey Tea out of the 26 choices, the second one* I checked said
"in addition they will mix into Glycerin, and Propylene Glycol solutions even better than our Organic Flavor Extracts."

I guess my memory was pretty good.

* Last time I ordered the 'without diacetyl' one and it was a kind of 'skunky, flat' flavor according to my notes.

Of course the description also says these flavors can be used to "To add Flavor to your own Coffee Beans, Tea Leaves, and other dried Herbs, so there's another not subtle code speak.

I'm kind of looking for something else to order since my 2 ounces of Earl Grey only cones to $10 with $8 shipping, still kind of a deal.

But the smallest amount on their site is 1 ounce and that's a little excessive for experimenting.

I use TFA Earl Grey. They do small sample bottles. I can't say it's the best because it's the only one I've tried. I use almost all TFA flavors from WL. Apart from being lazy about stuff like that, I don't want to spend my life or my life savings trying innumerable flavors.

And to be honest I don't think my taste buds are very discerning. Maybe they just never recovered from 48 years of smoking.

LOL - When my tastebuds recovered, I found that I prefered no flavor whatsoever in my e-juice.

(Dangerous stuff, anyway, those flavors. Who knows what happens when you heat and inhale them? Certainly not the makers.)

Have to agree wid ya dere in both statements!

Don't even want to consider da monie$ I've spent on chasin' flavs. BUT, I have no regrets in doin' so.

When I knew dat vapin' was an immediate <fer moi> solution/salvation and sated/relieved my personal habitual 'bakky need, I tried flavless, and BINGO... it's in my daily rotation...
I do enjoy switchin' flavs just because I can. BUT, dat's a bonus I'm willin' to $upport...

I did fine on unflavored for a bit. But it reminded me too much of tobacco, & I can't vape tobacco flavors. It's ok for a change now & then, tho.

oh kewl.......and thanks.

El Whacko loves electric windows because we roll the window down more often with the. Much easier than pulling over and cranking it open or shut. :thumb:

Car broke down again on the way to town today. We barely made it to the car rental place. They gave us a :censored: hybrid. (They might be nice if you lived in a city and didn't have a dog that weighed over 100 pounds.) Doesn't even have a key, not even a plastic one. Half the time you can't even tell if it's running.

As we were transferring stuff from my car to the rental I remembered I'd stashed a bunch of coils in a small cooler we have in there at the start of fire season so if I had to run from here I wouldn't have to worry about packing those out. When I looked in the cooler, I found a bunch of "long lost," beloved vape gadgets that wouldn't be affected by heat that I'd also stashed in there. Almost like getting vape mail!
dagnabbit on the car breakin down again. So glad you aren't having to pay for the rentals, but enough already. That is such a hassle. glad you found your lil time capsule!
I couldn't see the vid, something about needing a flash player. But I read the synopsis.

I'm behind, so if this has already been posted, now it's posted again.
Cancer risk from e-cigarettes > 50 000 (thousand) fold lower than smoking

and see, that's a big reason I love the Reo. So much less trouble and hassle than tanks to me. I have no leaking issues, fill the bottle, once every couple weeks, remove wick, dry burn, put in new wick. 2-3 times a year put in a new coil. It's by far the easiest lowest maintenance thing I've ever vaped. Especially now that I've found the O16 rdas and can get a great vape from a single coil. (thanks again to @Kenna for turning me on to them! But anyhow, glad you got it going great.

same here but 36 years. I can vape unflavored if I have to, but like Kenna, tastes too much like tobacco. I mostly taste sweet from my flavors. Would taste more if I switched flavors more, but don't need to, and it's easier not to.

Bear in mind that both PG (propylene glycol) and VG (glycerine) have naturally sweet characteristics. Thus all e-juices will start with a sweet base. You can take it as a given that any chemical with "gly" in its name will be sweet.

Mind you, sweetness does not necessarily mean non-poisonous!!! For instance, ethylene glycol is very poisonous, but sweet. EG is the standard antifreeze that attracts pets and children by its very sweetness. (It's the stuff with the fluorescent green dye that makes it look like nuclear waste in a movie. Like the poisonous Amazon frog, the bright color is supposed to warn you.)

However, I'm not sure why such sweetness reminds the both of you of tobacco flavors. I do know that all chewing and dipping tobaccos (snus) have added sugar as a humectant, but I wouldn't expect that sweetness to be considered to be part of a tobacco flavor spectrum.

Been talked about on the FT thread, Mike. Yep, seems that way.... some are speculating that they did it to not have us all clean them out with the current discount code, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me... unless they're already so close to zero profit that a sale would be a loss for 'em.

But even gone from wish list, clicking on the SKU from a prior order goes nowhere... although spare parts do still seem to be there.

Yep ... I had 6 SKUs in my cart that showed no picture, under the SKU# showed in stock, but clicking on the link went to a general page of non-KFL stuff. So much for placing an order with the current sale code.

I get the sweetness, too, I don"t know exactly how to describe the tobacco aspect. It's like a thought of "Yuk, tobacco", without being the actual taste of tobacco. Very subtle, but enough to make it a turn off. I can use it occasionally, but not constantly. I could if I had to.

ummm? Has Fastech pulled all their Kayfun items. I went there looking for some Kayfun stuff and when I search 'Kayfun' nothing at all was returned in the search. View attachment 697281
