ummm? Has fastech pulled all their kayfun items. I went there looking for some kayfun stuff and when I search 'Kayfun' nothing at all was returned in the search. View attachment 697281

It's like the word kayfun ceased to exist. They sell kayfun stuff by the metric ton, there is no way every single device and accessory just vaporizes off a site like that without an explanation unless there are hoards of lawyers involved. On the other hand since when do the chinese honor what is probably a cease-and-desist.

I get the sweetness, too, I don"t know exactly how to describe the tobacco aspect. It's like a thought of "Yuk, tobacco", without being the actual taste of tobacco. Very subtle, but enough to make it a turn off. I can use it occasionally, but not constantly. I could if I had to.

It almost makes me wonder if you have some small amount of tobacco-flavored residue from a previous e-juice. But no, you seem to dislike tobacco flavors, so it's unlikely that you would have any tobacco-flavored residue. I'm baffled.

I also dislike tobacco-flavored vapes. It took me months to figure that out, back when I began vaping six years ago. I kept wondering why I couldn't find a flavor I liked. I eventually settled on a couple of sour fruit flavors (cherry and green apple) plus a menthol/mint "taste refresher" for a few years. I used red, green, and blue (at first cartos and then tanks) to keep them straight.

Having three flavors (and colors) helped me keep them in order when I had to cycle through three rigs to keep them from getting too hot. Raising the nic content let me scale back the amount of vaping required to keep me happy. I "discovered" flavorless juice when I was experimenting with different amounts of nicotine and PG/VG ratios. It seemed like a bad idea to add different flavors to the mix when I was trying to distinguish between two other factors at the same time.

It turned out that I didn't much care whether my juice was flavored or not, and that I also didn't much care about the exact PG/VG ratio. As long as there was some of each, and the nicotine was sufficiently high (between about 60 and 80 mg/ml - 6% to 8%), I liked it just fine. I now mix any convenient formula that makes use of the two kinds of nic base that I have in stock.

I need to play around with unflavored to see if I can make it more appealing, longer. I can use it for a day or so. Then that Nope thing hits & I'm done with it. I like that bit of sweetness it has.

FT has found a new name for their KF styled products.

I was afraid they were going to choose a curse-word that we wouldn't understand.

I saw that this morning too. Substituted 'KF' instead of 'Kayfun' in my searches and found a bunch of stuff but a lot less 'hits' for Kayfun tanks and supplies then before the change. It's either I haven't figured out their new scheme or they still haven't re-listed all their items. I couldn't find any listings for replacement tanks for things like KFL V2s/Lites.

I've always said that "unflavored" is the best "tobacco" flavor there is.
Think about it, the only flavoring added is nicotine.

Toffee flavors were my first flavs when I started vaping. Geez! Middle of this month will be 6 years. Maybe I should get some toffee flav juice to celebrate and try it again. I haven't used it in years.

We placed our orders for "stick" cig-a-likes Aug 25, 2011. I got 510's with atty's and carts. Janet got 808's with carto's. We figured we'd each try a different setup to see the differences. A few days later they arrived and Janet quit smoking basically that day. It took me a a couple month's to completely leave my 40+ year 2 1/2 PPD smoking habbit behind. I remember my 'quit' date because it was my Son's birthday the 'next' day when I'd finally gone 24 hours without a cig. I told him ... and he said to me it was the 'best' birthday gift he ever got from me. Haven't had a cig since Nov. 12th, 2011.

That means that we both almost started at the same time. My first setup was a Joyetech 510. Later I tried the Volt 808's (they did make great juice at Smokeless Image)...

Yea ... but know you, you're likely to be still using your originals. Our are somewhere in the house ... but long retired. :D

Whenever I retire something, I generally PIF it (and, on some occasions, toss it). No use having stuff for which I have no use around the apt.

I quit end of Sep. I wonder if there are any times of the year when people are more likely to quit. I can kind of see how it might happen a lot when the winter weather moves in.
