Why some topfills have a juice flow control you can shut off while filling. But they still tend to flood a bit.
Duh.. it did not even occur to me to block the air intake. The fasttech bases that I got can be turned to a position that totally cuts off the air; I'll try that next time I refill!

Here again are the links for the fasttech subtank bases and top-fill tanks:
$4.53 Replacement Air Flow Control Valve Base for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$6.68 Replacement Tank Set for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer - stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Another possible negative for some folks: it requires a large amount of grip and torque to turn the air adjustment ring on the base, at least on the ones that I got.

now im done until the next new toy catches my eye
think I accidentally answered this on the back porch......I'm really not affected by shinyitis now. I'm so thrilled with my REOs! More nic, new batts, and a couple more bottom feed derringer clones, and there really won't be anything more that I want or need. Except may one (or two) of the new P67 REOs, those look fantastic! Look of the woodies, durability and easy care of metal!

Perhaps another mech or two (would love a REO but not in the budget right now),
Hmmm....now where did I put my magic wand??
images

Strange thing. The GS Air 2 that came with my iStick Basic does not gurgle or anything after top filling.
Little sucker has not dribbled a bit. Still on the first coil after 2 weeks of sub ohming on it.
I know Gracie loves those GS airs. Dang near a cult following, never heard a word against em.

Any suggestions on other than my fingers to block the air holes?
Jup, get a REO and quit foolin around with tanks! just messin with ya!

in fact i just won an encom voidray last night, the only thing i am running short on is batteries.
I used to win a good amt of things also, and when I first started vaping, some really nice wins actually kept me vaping when I may not have been able to otherwise. Very thankful for that. Don't enter many these days, cuz not much else I want. Very happy for you with your wins!

Of course I love you, that should go without saying. :firefox: To be honest, your posts give me a big lift every day. I'm very grateful them. You have no idea. You are a lifeline to sanity. So was Iffy but I don't know what happened to him. I fear for his well-being . It ain't the Porch without the Iffstah. Long may you both reign! :D
awwwww yur such a darlin!! (but don't worry, I won't tell no one). ;) I know ya wub me, just had to mess with ya.....cuz I'm good at it hehehe  you back big bunches!! Jup, worried bout him as well. Sumpthin aint right, just not sure what exactly, and he aint sayin. Maybe winter time blahs, hope that's all it is. I know his hammy string is still givin him some issues. @Iffy we luv ya and miss seeing yur waggly tail around here hun!!

I am so over the Vamo. Love my Provari. Every kicked mech user needs a Provari as a backup ohm reader.

3mg I'm with you on that one. the I got the 2.5 a couple of years ago now and it's still vaping away. I've purchased others but still keep the Prover in the daily rotation.

I've never tried the P67 REO before. I'll have to look that up. Although I really don't need much else. My Lady just looks and shakes her head. The other night she made a crack about being like a woman with new shoes. LOL:D:smokie:

Oh neat it's a Sqounk Box; I've never tried one. Unregulated Box Mod that Bottom feeds. Interesting. From your post Deb I would have to say that you like using it. COOL

Besides Good morning Porchers and Porchettes hope you all have a great day. 13 degrees here in NM today so it will be a indoor day for me, but great none the less.
Vape On! :tumble:

Oh alright will they be a Fasttech available item? Or from another source? They take a different type Atty I think; if not mistaken?
Definitely not fast tech. they're american made by one person with a few helpers. Fantastic quality, and nearly unbreakable. folks have accidentally run reo grands over with their cars, some more than once when it fell off, clean em up and they still work. They're squonkers like all reos, so you need bottom feed atties, there are many available for all types of vapers. Reo P 67 prototype
they'll be around 200ish, I won't be getting one.....but I do have a tiny bit of shinyitis over these

Thanks Deb, I think that would be nice to have a Mod that was that durable, and doesn't need filling too often.
I hope all is well there in TX; here this morning it's Freezing Cold; 13 and feels colder with the steady breeze.

yw hun. We have several reonauts here, so any questions you have, feel free to ask. I got my first REO and never looked back. Haven't wanted any other mod since really. I did win a billet box, so I've used it a few times, but that's the only mod I've used since getting a REO. Mash a bottle, it feeds juice up through the bottom of the atty, so you have dripping flavor without having to drip. Super easy to fix if you drop a spring or break a contact (cheap fix). The only thing you'd ever have to send it back to Rob for is if you somehow managed to mess up the 510, but while it's not impossible, it isn't easy to do. Check this vid out, especially where he throws it from the balcony onto the metal thingy.

wow 13, now I feel bad for whining, I know it got down to at least 26 overnight, but 42 now. 26 is still nuts for Tx in Feb.......but I'm on the couch cuddled up in a blanket, so I'm toasty. My heating pad puppy gave up and went and got on the bed. He thinks it's time for night nights, but I'm still wide awake

Now that there would be an expensive ohm checker. :D
But damned dependable, and, if reports are accurate, inexpensively repaired. Doesn't take up any extra space in the repair kit. My in-line ohm checker is in the kit, and I am rarely using it. My box ohm checker became a random number generator.

OMG, I think I've dunnit! I can't boil water without burning it, but I have created my first 'vapable' DIY juice. The first two attempts (not total failure, but less than WOW) have been married in a quiet ceremony at my home.
The blend of Strawberry and Peach was a trial and error meeting due to neither having a strong stand alone presents. The poor Strawberry required multiple procedures and was near death at one point but finally gained enough strength to allow the marriage to proceed.
And Now For My Next Amazing Feat........

GEEZ! they're indestructible. Neat unregulated Mods. I've never used one before but worth the thought.
The weather is indescribable and definitely not the norm. Springtime can't come soon enough this year. :w00t::D. But I wanted a little touch of Winter after AZ for so many years and I got it. My Pups are all dressed up in Sweaters today and playing around. Wish I had some of that energy in this cold:p
Thanks for sharing Deb and I'll be wondering around to learn more. Make it a great day.

Yes strictly for that purpose sure would be. Nice goto Regulated Mods though. I've had mine for about three years now and has never failed; the 2.5 that is. The 3.0 are not as ironclad in my opinion. I have one of those also. The ring and inner connection device unscrews constantly which I'm not happy with; plus it's a chore to re enter your menu settings when a change is desired. Not fun. But the Classic and 2.5 are Rock Solid and simple. A goto or for the beginning Vaper Great Mid

Good evening Subway! :) The wisest way to go is ask for recommendations (to weed out the detestable) and try what's left. Keep in mind that what may not work for you may be someone else's nirvana and you can pass it on rather than toss it, cotton balls aside. Happy testing!

If El Whacko would stop spending our money, I'd bet a small fortune on you being able to talk about 200mg/ml nic on ECF now. Apparently no ECFers, no matter how stupid, have been harmed by 100mg/ml nic and the bar has been raised. Kidding about the last part but the minimum has been raised.

I just noticed your footer. Wow. Have I told you I love you today? Thank you for that.
I heard that Steve Harvey was consulted prior to the announcement.

You're most welcome. I have a tiny bit of a reputation for converting porchers to squonkers, but hey.....I can't help it......enthusiasm is contagious!! lol

What kinda pups do you have? Glad they're nice and toasty. My son's dog is usually attached to my hip on the couch snuggled up and makes a great hot water bottle. But I think I've been up since 5 am yesterday.......several hours ago he gave up on me and jumped in my bed and went nighty nite. Haven't been able to coax him out, even with belly rub bribes. hehehe

We have lows down around freezing for another week, then it's posed to warm up. I'm totally over winter as well and ready for Spring. I don't do cold well at all. This winter hasn't been nearly as bad as several recent ones, but I'm done now, bring on the heat!! I really enjoy your positive posts......make yourself a great day also!

I'm sure liking what I'm discovering so far, and I do Drip from time to time. I have two Mini Schnauzers and yes they are little Cuddle Bugs; always coming around for some warmth and wouldn't trade em for anything. My little Kids that didn't grow up. I don't blame the Pup they know when they've got it good and why move. Mine are on my side all the time so when I goto bed they lay at the end and wait for me to lay down and make a warming blanket around my legs for the night.
Same here with the Winter; I wanted season coming from AZ and I got them. And you know what they say about be careful for what you ask for...LOL

I am another REOnaut. You cannot go wrong with at least one solid dependable mech given the FDA situation. I strongly suspect my REOs will outlast me.

As for Provaris I have not had any trouble at all with my P3. My P2 however is a little twitchy.
