They turn away anyone who can't provide a good vein in the usual place. They don't want liability issues if they ruin the only good vein a person has left.
I kinda figgered that might be the case, but wasn't sure.

A lot of it seems to come down to how competent the individual is in dealing with someone that doesn't have steady (non-wiggly) big veins.
with what you've been through, I'd probably be squeamish too! They used to dig and put me through torture til I was in the Navy, and I asked the guy if he was good.......he said.......I never miss, because if I don't know that I can get it, I don't do it there. He looked at my arm veins (antecubital......did that give you a rush?) hehehe and said........I aint touchin you! lol He actually did get it, but used a butterfly needle and took it from my wrist. After that I started making em to IV's and draws from my hand or wrist.

Thank you, but I am a needle wuss. Been hurt far worse by other things that still don't intimidate me in the least. Yes, complete head rush! Don't recall hearing that term before.

I know I have a couple of those pierceable caps around, digging through everything trying to find them. Was depending o the argon for long term storage. :( I'm also one of those not terribly fond of a strong TH. A little, but not a lot of TH.

Ohh man too OCD for me.

I was thinking of something like this but downscaled for 18650 batteries....

Might rout one out of some wood for the side panels....

Looks like a 3D printer project to me. Could sell em.
I think they would sell quite well even!

Definitely not a needle wuss. Can't be. One in the lower stomach every morning controls my diabetes really well. Using Victoza. If you have type 2 diabetes and it's not controlled well by Metformin alone ask your doc about Victoza. I know I sound like a commercial but, I eat ANYTHING I want and my A1C stays around 5.0. I can't complain about a little ..... in the belly.

Hmmmm. I transferred a liter of nic into 120ml bottles for the freezer. Wondering if I should get some of those thingies for those bottles & a syringe to draw off the oxygen trapped in the bottle? That would make a vacum in the bottle, yes?

Once you pierce the rubber top they will not hold much vacuum at all. Smaller bottles is the way to go to keep the air contact with the nic down.
I recommend bottle sizes that are what you will use in 3 months or less.

Not really. This is what Nude Nic says about it (and is the point of a pierceable cap):

... However, Nude Armor is packaged and sealed for long term storage and frequent use! Patented technology (not ours – we’d be millionaires if so) for the inlet seal allows a luer-slip syringe tip to be inserted through the septum into the bottle and draw large quantities of solution, even 100% VG solutions. We have tested this with 1, 5, and 10mL luer slip syringes, all with great success. The largest bottle size, however, we were able to utilize without vacuum issues and internal volume problems was the 500mL size (unfortunately no 1L variation yet). The 1L size started to crack under the vacuum pressure in a few tests, even with the thick and sturdy glass bottle. Please understand our limiting to the 500mL maximum aliquot size for safety in handling concerns

Simply insert the included 1mL or 10mL luer slip syringe into the opening, turn the bottle upside down, then draw the required amount into the syringe! The adapter will self-seal immediately upon removal of the syringe tip...

LOL, Mr. Smilie got big!

From the PlasmAir website:

  • 2 additional air pathways @ base intake for total of 5mm (twice our custom milled PlasmAirFlow centerpost opening) to promote venturi effect.
  • Upper deck liquid channels widened and deepened.
  • Lower deck channels mirror upper width, but minimal depth work as to reduce likelihood of leaking at tank threads due to breaking thread seal.
Upgraded components:

  • Custom Milled, Shaved & Sculpted PlasmAirFlow centerpost for true 2.5mm airflow.
  • Custom Fabricated PEEK insulator set: deck and 510.
I dunno 'zactly what they did. All I know is I like it! :)

Given I smoked stinkies for lo those many years, I suppose that 15 months to find my perfect vape is pretty good!

And the people you'll see :). How can anyone not love Dr Seuss?!
Ok. Next question (which might be dumb), where'd you get it?

I'd leave the air in there. From what they say, with that cap, the little air at the top is all it's ever going to see. Unless Robert's right. If he is, we're all doomed. j/k :D

Once the top is pierced yes it will withstand some vacuum but once pierced it will allow pressure /vacuum thru once a certain threshold is reached. Like a nail hole in a rubber innnertube.
The way to do is it like bag wine. A bag of nicotine in a box, as the nicotine is sucked out the bag collapses not letting air inside the bag.

I think I'm going to order some of the Nude Nic argon thingymabob stuff in 100mg. I vape only 3mg (maybe 4.5, if I'm really stressed), so a couple of 500ml bottles should last a good long while, if/when I need to start DIY'ing. I think that time is coming ... Maybe not next year, but I think it's coming. Washington D.C. passed a 67% (!) sales tax, that just went into effect. Within a week or so's time, pretty nearly every vape shop in D.C. closed. Interesting: the intent was to (re)capture tax revenue. Hummm. Seems to have backfired ...

Interesting thing is, everyone's gouging with excess taxes, yet no one has absolutely proven it's as bad as tobacco. So if it's safer than tobacco... they're murdering people for the almighty dollar.

And that is different from past human history in what way?

Doesn't it all? That's exactly why I have 4 liters stored. Aiming for more during the holiday sales before things get worse.

Makes perfect sense to me but they say it self-heals as the needle is withdrawn. Just sayin'.

They don't do the argon anymore, just the thingymabob. From a cost standpoint, you're better off buying the regular Nude Nic and the caps separately. Nude Nic ships in glass bottles so you don't have to worry about transferring to glass.

The geniuses that thought up that tax were as bright as politicians.

Greedy b-tards! If the were expecting revenue it surely backfired ... if they wanted to force the businesses to close they won.:mad::mad::mad:

Yep. I used to pass out when I had to have blood work, or donate blood. I had to donate for myself once, whenever I was having surgery & passed out. Now I'm fine as long as they don't start digging & poking around. My last surgery they had to do the iv in my neck. So glad I was already out when they did that. When I started waking up,which takes about a week, I felt something touching my neck & put my hand up there & started to freak out. My sister was there & was watching for my reaction, & hit the pain button & knocked me out again!
Good sister!

Yep! At this point I think I just have to sign for it, but might have to prove my age [emoji33] to the seller.

Yep! Shes been there everytime I've had surgery or been hospitalized. Now if she'd just tell what I say while i'm coming out of it. She won't tell me anything. Maybe she won't use those words.
