Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Four

Alright you all! I did say that's what I spent because of this thread, and I've only been on the porch a few days! That $137.55 isn't all I've spent on vape stuff recently. Feel better now?

I did get a bunch of good stuff though - For that $137.55 (which included S/H, too) I got...(3) IGO-L, (6) yes 6, STM, (2) Kanger KBOX 40W mods, (5) 510 to eGo adapters, (10) 510 to eGo/510 adapters, and some of the Koh Gen Do organic cotton!

Funny, the girl I spoke to at Nordstrom's by phone, to ask about the thickness of theirs, had no clue it could be used for vaping. When she looked at the reviews for it on Amazon...she found out that most were actually about making coils with it! She thought it was funny, and said, "Wow, you learn something new every day!"

Ya wooda $pent lot$ more if ya had $tayed on da n00b forum!

What chu mean if I'd stayed on da noob forum? I haven't been on there as a noob to the ECF myself...since about last November. Was already vaping for 2+ years by then. Usually if I go there...it's just to give help or suggestions to newbies that some longtime members are encouraging to spend $$$ on vaping gear from the get-go! Most of those newbies don't know yet if they even like vaping. Kind of makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when they're encouraged to spend major bucks right away. Some have even suggested sub-ohming to total newbies! I don't get that at all!

WOW! I just got my new Ego One Mega and the thing really rocks. I FINALLY found a device where I can both tootle puff or blow more vapor if desired..... I can even buy rebuild able coils for it....It's a very simple device as it's not regulated but it does have safety protection...... It's a tube mod and fits my style of vaping perfectly.

Did the above and doublechecked my account info., but none of it worked. Finally, this morning went to neighbor's house and used her computer. SUCCESS! I don't know what different settings hers has, but it went right through with my order! I was even able to see shipping method options that before...showed as unavailable for my address.

Also wanted to post for anyone interested: Ultimate Vape Deals (that I ordered the $17.99 STMs and $9.99 KBOX 40W mods from)...is FAST with shipping! Ordered them Monday afternoon and they were delivered today already - from PA to FL! So kudos to them!

Totally agree with yur rant!! and you have the addys now thanks for doing that!!! I need to call my vape shops around here, and see if they'd be willing to print out a small thing (several per page) talking about the doc and put in each person's bag when they buy sumpthin.

Of course, if I'd had it to spend, I woulda spent it....... but it was great to know I could go 5 months, and not need anything! Want yes, really coulda used....sure......needed, newp I survived just fine. Made coils, made juice, was good to go!

Since I stepped onto on this porch, I've spent $137.55 on vape stuff discussed here...and again, I was only possibly interested in something to use for taste-testing. Yep, it's shineyitis nirvana here!

I got my first package of vape mail today...bought because of this thread, and 3 more will be arriving while I'm gone...because of this thread. You all are truly a bad influence on newbies. But...I like it!

That's why I was questioning the authenticity of the other cotton you were looking at. Real KGD only has one thickness. The other stuff isn't genuine, it's a Chinese knock off of a Japanese product & they are making it in different thicknesses to attract vapers. But the purity is questionable. Who wants to vape bleached or color treated random something?

thanks hun. Yeah a couple of em didn't, but am glad they haven't responded to those who have called them out. Don't want a debate/fight starting. Amazes me that they don't bother even watching the video, yet criticize it. lol

Interesting combination of flavors.

I've always loved peanut butter and honey together... something from my childhood. Mama used to make peanut butter and banana sandwiches... I hated bananas. So, for me, she'd make peanut butter sandwiches with a bit of fresh honey. I LOVED those things... still do. I just don't have such easy access to truly fresh honey any more. If we ever manage to move out into the country again, I'm definitely going to set up a few bee hives!

Great! You may want to tweak the recipe a bit. I'm still thinking about dropping the sweetener a little more (it's really sweet!), and whenever I get around to ordering more flavors, I need to get some AP to help bring out the nuttiness. Be sure to lemme know what she thinks about it, if you make it. I'm still tweaking and working on it a l'il bit, but it has gotten very close to what I was looking for.

I know, I know... I just keep getting wrapped up with work stuff and try to hit the more active (chatty) threads that I follow.

And... as promised, here is the recipe I promised:

Honey Nut Custard (all TFA flavors)
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 8%
Peanut Butter - 8%
Sweetener - 2%
Honey - 1.5%

A few days ago, I stopped at an Amish peddler's stand. He had honey. Made a comment about it needing a hot bath. He thought my emotion at childhood memories was cute. I just could not resist buying a pint at $8.
