it's actually plated beryllium copper I think.

Speaking of dogs my Grandaughters poor old German Shorthair she found out has Lupus.
oh wow, glad it's not the bad kind, but that stinks hun, sorry.
Welcome home. Now all you have to do is read the 50 pages of post.

They are pretty good sautéed in butter, I just can't remember if it is red or white wine that is best.
HA.....newp, did that when I was gone 12 days, read every post on all my threads.....not goin through that again. You would waste good wine??? lmao

Yea, vape mail. I was able to get the red and Black RX200 with a Black Herakles Plus.
oh that's great!!

Yeah, cats are not for everyone.
see.......now yur startin to understand!

Speaking of preparedness - is everyone comfortable with their stocking up efforts???
not all the way. I lost my head and spent my nic money on craft machines and a large format printer for me for my birthday  hehehe

I just pretend I'm panning for gold.
I found a LOT of.....uhmm....stuff but none of it was anything like gold!

Hey imagine a tank that all you had to do was just screw another 30ml amber bottle into the primer/coil base and keep on vaping... Cloud chasers would be in vape heaven... :D
that would be kewl. I have an 8 ml bottle and love it, but 30 would be great!

humph! I almost burned up my SUV while out kayaking one day. Came back off the lake after a day of kayaking. Stowed the kayaks and gear. Opened the driver door to get in. I saw a thin blackish line going across the plastic center console and continue along the fabric seat of the passengers side.

What the heck, me thinks? Then I look at the mirror and I had left a pair of polarized sunglass hanging from it. Yep as the sun traversed the sky and went through the glasses it was leaving a burn mark in its path.

If'n it actually caught fire and burned up, I'd of had no idea what caused it.
Yipes!!! Glad it didn't set it on fire.

Taking the dog for a daily walk, rain, snow... Yeah, dogs are not for everyone. ;)
newp but am very glad son and dil have a fenced in back yard. They still wanna get a doggy door installed sometime though.

Woohoo! Look who's back in town! Hope you don't mind be we had to reupholster your recliner while you were gone. There was quite a bit of soot buildup from the frying pan.

Seems some still don't. There was a fire cal the other day. "Homeowner need assistance putting out a fire in a large ashtray."  Guess the homeowner hasn't heard of a glass of water. The unfunny part was that the yahoo lives below us.
wow! That's frightening on many levels!

Bloody dog had to go potty at 1:15am. Try carrying a 100 lbs dog down the stairs then.
How's Oscar doin??? Hope he's healing up well.

This is one of the (many) reasons it infuriates me that FDA deems vaping a tobacco product. Having worked so hard to quit smoking, I do NOT want the presence of cotinine to label me as a tobacco user! I wonder if 1.5mg juice would trip the bio marker threshold ... I also wonder if exposure to DH's cigars would do the same thing.

I ordered some test strips from Amazon, but haven't tried them yet. It's a straight forward urine test. 1 red line is a control strip that indicates the strip is active. The second red line appears at 6ng (6 nanograms) nic content or higher. If two lines appear it's a positive.

You might be interested in this thread Tobacco Free - Synthetic Niocotine I think the 13th post has a link to a podcast. Drop down a few posts to mine that gives a time stamp for where to hear about synthinc nic. Don't really care what the FDA and their little hurt feels (from past defeats) think, it will be interesting to see how it all pans out in court.
Ya, I watched a video last year where a young lawyer... maybe 35-40... said that the deeming only pertains to Tobacco derived nic. He further stated that someone could figure out how to extract from old furniture, and that would mean that the regs don't cover it.

I wonder why nicotine lozenges aren't considered tobacco products. After all, they contain nicotine. The answer is that they are Pharma products and available OTC under FDA licensing.

If I happen to test positive somewhere in the medical system at some point, I'm just going to tell them I use an occasional nicotine lozenge, but haven't smoked in 6 1/2 years. Since the lozenges are available from Amazon and most any drug store without prescription I will be covered without being labeled as a smoker.

While I support Nic that is not labeled as a tobacco product - I am not sure I am ready for Nic that is synthetic...

It may be the only game in town once the dust from the lawsuits settle. The chemical composition is exactly the same.

sure hope not but know it's a possibility. Just can't imagine though that this won't be overturned. Of course, never imagined they'd have big enough ones to go as far as they did

If you purchase "ready made" juice, chances are you've already used synthetic nicotine, especially if the purchase was within the past year.

I've been vaping Hangsen for years. They claim to extract using the NET process. I suppose that means the NET tobacco extraction method produces a nic component. Or, do they have to add synthetic nic to balance out the final product? Maybe the nic is extracted during the process and the NET output is a flavor process?

Would love to read more 'bout that! Any references?

Nope, haven't used any, but would be interested in those references. That is something that the customer base should be aware of prior to purchasing. It would make me think twice...

NET eliquids are primarily for flavor. The actual nicotine extraction for a NET is negligible.

I wondered about that. Hangsen is one of the juices I like that has none of that weird under taste that I don't enjoy. It's one of the really clean flavored juices.

I go into the local vape shop and sample juices here and there. They have big brand names and house flavors. Almost all of them have the same strange essence underneath the main flavor. It's like the base is common to them all.

But...but...tissues? [emoji12]

Hahahaha! Hey, I saw another video a while back where the guy was trying to use paper towels for wicks in a dripper. That didn't end well, either. ;)

Not to change the subject, but ... :)

@Kaezziel, I pulled this out of its storage space, this weekend. (This is an old picture. She's running with a stumpy, now). Quick question for you: the battery seems to have a bit of play (maybe a mm short). How might I either take up a teensy bit of space or lengthen (?) the throw?

Sorry, I had to leave early yesterday for a doctor's appointment. Had to take my Darling Bride in for some bloodwork. This new chemo has the potential to do real damage to her liver, so they are doing blood work every two weeks to keep track of it.

:) I remember when you got that mod. Dreddy did a wonderful job on the patina! I imagine she looks absolutely gorgeous with a Stumpy and her matching drip tip! :hubba:

As for how to take up that little bit of space to get rid of the rattle, I remember Tom saying to bend the contact bar out a little farther. The SX is a little different, because it's regulated (doesn't use a contact bar). The other option would be to switch to a button top battery, I believe. I'll shoot ya a PM and we'll get it sorted out pretty quick.

The ONLY difference between natural and synthetic nicotine is the placement of one single atom in the chain. Chemically, they're exactly the same formula composition at C10H14N2.
