Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part Four

I'll keep pluggin' away at 'em, but it's pretty disheartening watching them keep burning the smoke sticks... But you're right. You can lead a horse to water, but ya can't make 'em drink, right?

I hear ya! Been trying to much to help my sil, nephew and dil's mom. Even stage 1 lung cancer didn't get my sil to give vaping a good shot. If that didn't do it not sure what will. But I did make em some more juice, and gave em some premade juice I had. They know I'm here if they wanna reach out. Maybe one day

Yep, that's kinda how I'm startin' to feel... I'm here if they need help. There are a couple of guys at work that have picked up vaping and have been coming to me for suggestions on equipment and how to work with RBAs and such. So at least there are a few that I've been able to help out in some way or another.

I just let them see my stuff. Taste my juice if they want to, which they always do. So they've had some Castle Long Reserve, The Gentleman's Reserve, Cotto's Revenge Bourbon Custard & their kaluha & cream. I won the whole line of Cotto's Revenge in a FB contest once & kept the 2 I was vaping & gave the others to my nephew & his wife. I know the right flavor & nic level right off the bat is why I stopped smoking the first day I used an ego set up. I just let them see what I'm doing & they follow. My nephew started vaping before I did. He had a friend that vaped.

Yeah, I've tried that, but she freaks out about most of my stuff now because it's "too complicated". Mostly mech mods and RDAs is what she's seen so far. I'll definitely have to let her see the Target though. Simple coil heads (and what I think is a really simple regulated device) should be something that she could handle... if not, then she can just stick to her Blu sticks...

We never know which of the seeds we plant will take root, or how long it will take them to pop their lil noses up through the ground. I'm in the "feed and water them" camp - with a good bit of hope thrown in! It may take awhile and may be frustrating at times, but if you love someone, giving up isn't an option .

Hahahaha! Yeah, I'm throwin' a whole lotta hope in there! I'm not giving up though, sooner or later I'll figure out something that'll really work for her and get her off the stinky sticks. I think Dad's a lost cause though... he's not gonna change until HE decides to. If multiple heart attacks hasn't done it yet, I'm sure not going to. And I don't get to see him often enough to really work on him...

Geordi's breeder has not been using the Segelei/Atlantis combo she was sold at a B&M, but she does use the Kbox mini she had me get her after seeing mine and the egos I gave her. I got her a few more on sale for $3 each (vv egos) and she likes the Kanger bottom coil clearos I gave her, along with a Protank 2 I was not using. Keeping her in those, she gives me used ones, I give her fresh rebuilt/rewicked ones and it is easy for her. Still dual usong, but it's a start!

Nice! I never had the patience to rebuild those little coil heads... and you have to use tiny gauge wire, right? I'm way too comfortable with my 24ga and 26ga. I can't handle the 30ga and smaller stuff anymore.

absolutely! Hope and prayer! It'll happen or it won't, but no giving up. Sure am glad folks didn't give up on my stubborn .... a few times
