I think I will abandon the dollar-a-day project.

Although I didn't actively participate in your thread, I must say dat I would monitor it and thought it a noble endeavor indeed!

Regardless, you laid out and led an appreciable project. I think many have benefited from your initiative and hopefully will ever be grateful!

Thanks iffy! I babbled a bit a couple weeks ago and made a brief intro.
Sent from.... ooh look! Something shiny!!!

Sorry, my bad!

Then as I said, welcome again...

Oh, BTW, shiny can be captivating!

Thanks. My observations before I got mad and started it also continued into my writing. LEMME see. Where is the foundation for the prosperity gospel in the NT? Which got me on thinking about American materialism. So, it was good all the way around. :D

Y'all are making me think a lot more than I want to about "Vapageddon." I'm pretty active re: writing to Congress about vaping, but in truth, haven't planned at all for a time when it would be impossible to buy vape gear or juice. Now I'm thinkin'. I have 2 P3's, a Billet Box, a mech and several ego's/spinners (which I hate. They live in a drawer in the kitchen). A handful of Nauti tanks, a stash of BVC coils and a couple of dozen cartos (for BB back up). One KFL+. That's it. I can build a coil, but couldn't rebuild a broken mod if my life depended on it. Tweety does not solder. What else would y'all add to the collection?

This is why I'm thinkin Reo.....no need to replace tanks. I don't like just dripping, but squonking I can handle.

I went though about 4ml of juice in 2 hours last night.
Holy cow!! That's nuts. Good thing you DIY at low nic.

I'm with Iffy, I didn't participate, but did read most of it. I think it was a great thread with a lot of great ideas!

Nope.

If that came from ECF the only reason would be your payment for the annual member subscription did not... get paid.

ECF cannot cancel anything about the payment since that would require access to your PayPal account - which ECF does not have access to.

On the PayPal end of things that means:

1.) The scheduled payment was linked to a closed bank account
2.) The scheduled payment was linked to an expired credit or debit card that you didn't update the expiration date for.
3.) The scheduled payment was linked to a credit or debit card that had the card number changed due to fraud and you forgot to change to the new account number for the ECF transaction.
4.) The scheduled payment was deleted.

Check the status of the transaction on your PayPal account. Log in and look under Settings > Preapproved payments. If it's still there it will be listed as EC Forum Ltd. (If it's not there it was deleted.) Click on EC Forum Ltd to see what account you have the payment linked to.
I'm not seeing any suspicious activity on my account, so I suspect that they didn't switch to the new number when I put in the request. I've deleted that card now and have sent a query to be sure. Then if all is well, I will re-set up my subscription as a supporting member. Thanks for the info!!

I have finally gotten a wee bit of intelligence through my thick skull today.... I've FINALLY figured out how to build and wick my KF lite (yes, CLONE - my first ever RBA) without those shag-nasty dry hits. I'd built a dual-coil setup for my first ever RDA and have been having amazing success so I figured I'd give the KF one more chance.

28g (had been building with 30g), 1/8" (had been using 1/16") and organic cotton (had tried rayon and regular cotton balls). About 6-ish wraps landed me at about 1.35 ohms.

I believe the larger-diameter coil (with the thicker wire) is my "ah-ha" moment.... I rebuild my kanger heads with the 30g, and I thought that was all I should have been using

Terrible thought; what if they aren't letting payment through anymore because it's vaping related? Sincerely hope it's not the case.

I might try a larger knitting needle-- I tried a size 00, which no-one uses any more, the wicks kept burning on me. What I had was a size 0, which is hard to find. What I just got was a size one. Yep, I have a size two. That is 2.75 mm.

Been working on a quilt-top and watching TV. Just for something different. I decided to start taking Sundays off for the writing project.

Another Quilter! {{{{{{{HUG}}}}}} I used to hand quilt. Never got into piecing, I was too busy quilting the tops my mother turned out. Had to give it up because my hands limit me to one stitch at a time & it got too frustrating. I'm still trying to finish Hawaiian applique on a quilt for my daughter.

As for the REO vs Provari debate. Some of us solved it by owning both. :)

Shhhh, you aren't supposed to tell anybody! This is a war damnit!

I think I will abandon the dollar-a-day project. Judging from this thread, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/644155-why-do-people-knowingly-buy-clones.html , this one http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...8-i-dont-think-im-going-saving-any-money.html , and this one http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/645835-i-give-up-enough.html , enough people have gotten the idea, and low-budget people are not hiding in a corner any more. And people just getting into vaping are beginning to understand that the spending does eventually taper off, especially when there is so much advice available.

Just been contemplating my budget, and will be buying that mech with kick. From then on, it will just be replacement expense.

See if someone else wants to take charge of the thread. Always someone new that might like the help, or let it die naturally.

If my feeble mind has held any of da many ECF memories, I do think ya might be a new friend we've never met. If so, welcome to our lil' corner of da world. If not, welcome to our lil corner of da world, again!

What was that about a feeble mind? ;)

I need to get a dripper. Is there such a thing as a single coil rda? I want it for one or two special juices, & they are real coil gunkers that need to go in a dripper. I just need to get one. I'm pretty much okay with building coils now. Gotta be a clone.

These ones apparently can take single coil builds

Trident rda clone
Quasar rda clone
Omega rda clone
Plume veil rda clone

Watched this person making some twisted wire using a pen , so I did some.
Might have a drill somewhere but too hot and can't be bothered looking for it.

Haven't tried it out on a build but it looks ok.

TwistedWire-29g-pic1.jpg

Length of 29g fold it in half hold one end with pliers , Got pen with a clip and put the loop over the clip. Then pull tight and twist pen.
Didn't seem to take too long , was wondering when to stop but after a while the wire broke.
Good result I think.

If someone posts and needs help, in either the thread or the group, I will help. There was no response to my "plan" post on either the thread or the group. Of course, with three threads already going on the subject-- And the responses of budgeters were tip-top.

Here it is at fasttech...$5.36 IGO-L Rebuildable Stainless Steel Dripping Atomizer - double heating wires / 1.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They've got it set up with dual coils, but there's only 1 air hole and you have to make sure you get the air hole right at the coil you have in it or you get harsh hits. :)

Thanks for the warm welcomes :) Y'all move so fast in here, it's sometimes hard to keep up!!!!

0mg, having a knitting needle would presume this chica does CRAFTS :lol::lol::lol: Oh, oops, sorry.... Actually, I never could get the hang of fabrics/textiles, but put me in a kitchen...... :D

Kenna, I picked up an Atomic (Ehpro) that allows for single or dual coil builds. It's not bad for a "cheapy" ($15 @ vapenw.com), and you can set airflow for either a single or a dual coil build. I actually have two - one's in dual coil mode; the other is in single.

I am stoked - I ordered a Kanger Subtank Nano and a bunch of 1.2 and 0.5 coils. Should be here by week's end :)

Tons of em. Don't just look at ones that are designed for dual or more, many of those can be done in single coil just fine. Just saw a vid of the marquis, man I love the way that is designed, hope others incorporate this. Can't imagine paying 145.00 for one though.

Hope everyone expecting bad weather keeps their power on and stays safe or has a safe place to go and can actually get there!

Here's a link to the page after page of drippers available on Ebay. I figure that's a good way to answer both of the questions above, since all or virtually all Ebay sellers accept Paypal. (Not positive, but I think that Ebay made it mandatory for sellers to accept Paypal a good number of years ago. There was a time when when it was optional.)
