Well, I've mixed my first DIY recipe! 10mg, 0 nic. A blueberry creme. Smells really good. Shook it good & letting it sit & debubble a bit while I go make some chicken soup. Stormy here today, but we really need the rain. Flash flooding in Houston. So a good day for diy juice & soup!
Very good! you go! your journey to flavoritis has begun ;)

How on earth is anyone able to change the wick out of a Kanger Evod coil head? It's so freaking little?

That they are! But do-able, and the vid Robert put up is a good one for how to totally rebuild.

I tend to clean and dry burn them a few times before rebuilding. (And use silica wicks on those, so I can dry burn!) But when not rebuilding, I do replace the loose flavor wicks that sit atop the coil. I use 100% cotton yarn for that, as it's a good fit, and easy. Your own cotton or rayon would work as well.

Here's one (of many) vids on the process.

Well, the smoking cessation products are expensive. vaping is comparitively cheap.
Smoking cessation products don't work. Or if they do, with a lot of suffering.
Drug companies are making a fortune on them. They make nothing from vaping. So it pays them to fight it.
Vaping just plain works.
You forgot the part where the states make ....-loads of money off sin taxes and sold tobacco bonds they now can't pay off.
I have read in more than one place that nicotine just might be the right drug to treat Dementia. My suspicions are that the big drug companies are working madly to get trials done so they can come up with a way to control the nicotine market. Greed is everything in the pharmaceutical industry! As an RN for over 30 years, I have seen this greed harm many. Sickening.
Oh good, you're catching on early as an RN. :) And yes, they've been doing crooked studies for years now. Nic is found in eggplant, cauliflower, potatoes, tomatoes, etc. Everybody has some degree of nic in them. We're all going to die. Over 40% of doctors in the UK think nic is a carcinogen. Nic is beneficial for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, tourettes, ADD, mental disorders, etc.
How on earth is anyone able to change the wick out of a Kanger Evod coil head? It's so freaking little?
A lighted magnifier on a stand helps immensely.

wonderful!! Hope ya love it, can put some nic in it and vape it! Then share your recipe!!
I driipped some on the Reo coil & tried it. It's good! I'm so excited to have finally found a fruit I can vape! I'm going to keep some without nic that I can use in the evenings while i'm winding down to sleep. The rest will be 18mg. Gota get some more flavors next month so I can stop buying premades. I'm hoping to figure out the 2 Cotto's that I like so much, & the Gentleman's Reserve, too.

Actually it's been a journey trying to find things I can vape. I've been stuck on bourbon custards, not even liking some of them. So if my sense of taste has changed again so that fruits taste right I'll be very happy! I got black berry, too. May try a muffin or cup cake with that one. We shall seex

People already beat me to it, but I will add that for those individuals that have eyes not as flexible as a 4 year old's a helping hands magnifier goes a long way and they are less than $8 on Amazon last time I checked.

I notice the same thing w/ a TC mod ... set at the same Watts of a non-TC mod it's a much smoother consistent vape throughout the draw.

Keep me/us posted on how the iStick TC works out for you. It's one of the least expensive of the TC devices ... but I'm still hesitant about the Isticks since 2 out of 3 of ours flaked out.
The Ti has the same qualities with some of the qualities of Kanthal as far as lasting. The Bloke on the Ti thread has all the equipment to test the different wires and from what I have seen so far the best seem to be Crazy Wire, Stealth Vapes and another that I have never heard of before called 3fvape.com. It is in China and their wire is a little more costly then some but include free shipping. So far have heard it has been the cleanest and rates right up there as being less springy. He hasn't had a chance to check resistance yet and I'm really curious to see what the actual temp of the coil is when used at 270 in Ni mode which is right where I like it.

I use the Crazy Wire from Vape Mesh company which has been rated a little springier but works good for me. I use the exact same coil as with NI200 except I use 26awg instead of 28awg 5 wraps spaced 3mm ID. Come in at between .26 and .28ohms. I use the SXM on NI200 mode at 270 13J. Very good smooth vape and very stable on the device. I think the settings are a little different on the EVOLV board but not sure what they run it at.

Don't ya just love it when ya open the front door to find a big ole 'priority mail' box with a big ole FRAGILE sticker and it looks like someone danced all over it?
No matter, my gallon of PG and gallon of VG were both intact and dry, thankfully. My liter 100 mg nic from FedEx was right beside it, not nearly so beat up.

WOOHOO! HERE WE GO!

On another note.... I love my Aspire ET clearos with the BVC coils. I've seen several videos on rebuilding the nautilus BVCs but nothing on the others. Has anyone here managed to rebuild the regular BVCs? I'm very interested in trying.
Congratulations on the DIY stuff. There seems to be some regulation saying all DIY items must be sat upon by a herd of wild elephants before delivery, just so you know.

I haven't rebuilt them but know others here have. Someone will be along shortly, and that's not a line of bull. Somebody always knows about that kind of stuff.

My journey to find something I could vape was swift. I quickly found that most all of the bought juice had artificial ingredients in them that I could not tolerate. I was stiuck with one pathetic tobacco that I could vape. I almost went back to smoking.
Within 3 weeks of starting vaping I was doing DIY with simple fruit flavors. I found a source of no artificial ingredient flavorings and went at it.
It is still a journey for me as I find flavorings that have something in them that either tastes horrible to me or causes burning in my mouth, etc.
So I wind up discarding about 25% of the flavorings I try. So Far Capellas has been the best overall brand for me. I have not found any Inawera I can tolerate and a few TFA's are ok.
Of course the no artificial ingredient ones from Flavor Concentrates are good for me. Although their coconut is STRONG and so is their Vanilla. But their watermelon and Blueberry are devine. Strawberry and banna are pretty good as well. Their strawberry is better if I mix a bit of CAP sweet Strawberry in with it.

Hang in there it will get better.

Why don't you just go to something that you can build a coil in like the Kanger STM. Really easy to build the RBA section not expensive and you can get every piece of it separately so you don't have to worry about breaking anything. I have gone to just using those. They work great with Kanthal, NI200 or Ti and have to be one of the easiest to place the coil on. I gave up on trying to rebuild heads. Isn't DIYing great. It took me a long time to find the flavors that made me really happy. I like flavors that only take a single flavor to be good. It is a little expensive to get what I like but I did find one place in the world to get Baker Flavors and it is in Germany. Getting it from the maker in Russia is almost impossible. I can't wait to get my next order. I got about 9 flavors some I love some I don't know about but I'm sure they will be great. Going to get 250ml total which is enough to make 6500ml of juice. going to make a couple of combos with creme and fruit. It is amazing when you find flavors that 10ml will make at the least 300ml of juice and some that will make 600ml. Not bad for $6 US plus shipping. For that much juice shipping is between $25 and $30

Everything I got was TFA, except one CAP. I'm fine with those. I got 16 sample sizes d will get more samples next month. Then start getting bigger sizes.

In case I had not mentioned this Bull City Vapors and Ecigexpress are my goto places for flavorings. Both on selection and price.
